Attention — Before Installation

Thank you for choosing from among Blu’s quality line of products. We recommend that you carefully read this
installation guide to ensure your unit’s proper operation and reliability for many years to come.

NOTE: Product is already optimized/preset for best drawer fitting - only minor adjustments may be needed
Adhere to all local building and plumbing codes. The diagrams in this guide are not construction plans. They are
visual aids.

Installation Requirements

Please read the instructions carefully so as to avoid any damage to the fixture.

1. To ensure this product is installed properly, you must read and follow these guidelines.

2. The owner/user of the product must keep this information for future reference.

3. Consult local building codes to make sure the installation complies with standards.

4. Remove the unit from its packaging. Before disposing of it, inspect the unit to make sure its in good shape.
Should inspection reveal any damage or defect in the finish, contact your distributor. The warranty does not
cover damages or defects in the finish once it has been installed. Blu Bathworks’ responsibility for shipping
damages ceases upon delivery of the product in good order to the carrier. All complaints regarding damage due
to transport must be made directly to the carrier.

5. Place the unit in the bathroom before you start working. Conserve all nuts and bolts.

6. To protect the unit during installation, we recommend that you lay a piece of cardboard on the bottom.

7. If the unit is covered with polyethylene protective film, do not remove until installation is complete to grant
maximum protection. However, remove film where any two surfaces will be in permanent contact.

8. Verify that all dimensions on the plan are the same as the ones of the unit.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using an electrical furnishing, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
Read all instructions before using (this furnishing).
DANGER – To reduce the risk of electric shock:

1. Always unplug this furnishing from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
WARNING – To reduce the risk of burns, re, electric shock, or injury to persons:

1. Unplug from outlet before putting on or taking o parts.

2. Close supervision is necessary when this furnishing is used by, or near children, invalids, or disabled persons.

3. Use this furnishing only for its intended use as described in these instructions. Do not use attachments not
recommended by the manufacturer.

4. Never operate this furnishing if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been
dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Return the furnishing to a service center for examination and repair.

5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.

6. Never operate the furnishing with the air openings blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.

7. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.

8. Do not use outdoors.

9. To disconnect, turn all controls to the o position, then remove plug from outlet.

10. For loading always put heavier items at the bottom and not near the top in order to help prevent the
possibility of the furnishing tipping over.

14. Each surface intended to support a load shall have a corresponding statement in the use instructions
specifying the maximum intended load for that surface in pounds and (kilograms).

spéciant la charge maximale prévue pour cette surface en livres et (kg).

SERVICING OF DOUBLE-INSULATED PRODUCTS

In a double-insulated product, two systems of insulation are provided instead of grounding. No grounding
means is provided on a double-insulated product, nor is a means for grounding to be added to the product.
Servicing a double-insulated product requires extreme care and knowledge of the system, and is to be done
only by qualied service personnel. Replacement parts for a double-insulated product must be identical
to the parts they replace. A double-insulated product is marked with the words DOUBLE INSULATION or
DOUBLE INSULATED. The symbol (square within a square) is also able to be marked on the product.z

«DOUBLE ISOLATION." Le symbole (un carré dans un carré) peut aussi être indiqué sur le produit.
