Installation Notes
Connect your TV to your Mains Power (AC 100-240 Volts, 50/60). Please only connect this TV to a
Mains Power that matches the power specifications (AC 100-240 Volts, 50/60) of this TV.
Locate the TV in the room where light does not directly strike the screen.
Total darkness or a reflection on the picture screen can cause eyestrain. Soft and indirect lighting is
recommended for comfortable viewing.
Allow enough space between the TV and the wall to permit ventilation.
Avoid excessively warm locations to prevent possible damage to the cabinet or premature
component failure.
Do not cover the ventilation openings when using the TV.
TV Stand Installation
The BLAUPUNKT TVs come with a separated panel and base stand. Please see below detailed
instructions of how to connect your stand to your TV.
1. Place the TV with the display side down on a flat surface. Use a cloth or soft mat to protect your
TV during installation.
2. Attach the base stand at the neck as per the process outlined below.
3. Fix the base stand with the screw(s) supplied.

Wall Mount Bracket Installation
This TV is VESA Standard wall mountable. There are 4 VESA standard holes (BP2914HD - 200mm x
100mm) (BP3914FHD - 200mm x 200mm) on the back panel of the TV. The wall mount bracket and
screws are not included with your TV as they may be purchased together from your local retailer. To
attach your bracket use the 4 holes provided to screw your bracket to your TV. You will also have to
remove the base stand and neck.

TV Key Functions
Remote Sensor: Receives the remote signals from the remote control.
Power Switch: Please press the power switch at the Bottom right of the panel to power on the TV.
Standby: Press the STANDBY Button to turn on or off the TV.
Power Indicator: In Standby mode the LED indicator will turn red. In Power on mode the indicator will turn off. The
red LED will blink when receiving commands from the remote control.
Source: Press the SOURCE Button to display the input source list and then press Vol+/- to select the input source.
MENU: Press the MENU Button to display the Main Menu. In main Menu, you can use the Vol+/- or CH+/- Buttons
to find and select different sub menus and then press the SOURCE Button to confirm.
CH+ / CH- : Press the CH+ / CH- Buttons to scroll through the channel list.
VOL+ / VOL- : Press the VOL+ / VOL - Button to increase or decrease the volume level.
RF Input: To connect the external aerial.
HDMI Inputs: The HDMI inputs allow you to connect your HDMI cable for greater definition.
YPbPr Input: The YPbPr Input must be connected for a component connection.
AV Input: The AV Input must be connected with the yellow cable in composite connection.
AV Output: The AV Output allows you to connect the unit to external video system.
HEADPHONE Output: For private listening to the TV (BP2914HD).
VGA Input: The VGA Input allows you to connect your TV to your PC to use as a monitor.
PC Audio Input: The PC Audio Input allows you to connect your TV to your PC to use as a monitor and enable the
sound for movies etc.
USB Input: The USB Input enables you to insert your USB or Hard Disc to record live TV or to play Music, Video or
Image files. It can also be used for software upgrades.

Remote Control Layout
1. MUTE: Press to disable or enable the sound output.
2. ASPECT: Press to change the picture aspect ratio.
3. FAV: Press to access your favourite channels list.
4. NUMERIC KEY: Press for direct access to channels.
5. AD: Press to turn Audio Description function on or off (if available).
6. TV/RADIO: Press to switch between TV and Radio modes.
7. SUBPAGE: This is used in TELETEXT whereby certain pages contain sub-pages which are automatically displayed and used to stop or
resume sub-page information.
8. INDEX: This is used in TELETEXT which will open or return you to the contents page. Or press it to view your recorded programs list.
9. INFO: To display the program information of the show you are watching, press the Info Button.
10. REVEAL: This is used in TELETEXT to display or hide the concealed information.
11. HOLD: This is used in TELETEXT which to freeze the page.
12. MENU: Press to display the TV main menu.
13. CURSOR: Press to scroll through the menu.
14. OK: Press to confirm your selections.
15. CH.LIST: Press to display the channel list.
16. SLEEP: Press to set Sleep Timer.
17. VOL+/- : Press to adjust the sound level.
18. PIC: Press to switch between picture modes.
19. REWIND: Press to rewind play in USB Mode and timeshift Mode.
20. FAST FORWARD: Press to Fast Forward play in USB mode or timeshift Mode.
21. PLAY: Press the Play Button in USB Mode or Time Shift Mode to begin or continue Playback.
22. PAUSE: Press the Pause Button to pause play in Time Shift or USB Mode or pause recording in Record Mode.
23. POWER: Press to turn the unit on or off.
24. EPG:
Press to display the 7 Day Electronic Program Guide for information on the show you are watching.
25. FREEZE: Press to freeze the picture you are watching.
26. RECALL: Press to return to the previously viewed channel.
27. MIX: To set the background of TELETEXT to be transparent.
28. SIZE: To zoom the page in TELETEXT.
29. SUBTITLE: Press to turn subtitles on.
30. SOUND: Press to switch between the sound modes.
31. TEXT: Press to enter or exit TELETEXT mode.
32. LIST: The user can set four favorite pages to be directly linked to the four colour keys in TELETEXT. While list mode is activated, it is not

possible to use navigation with the colour keys.
33. SOURCE: Press to display the Input Source List, to switch between the different inputs to the television.
34. EXIT: To exit the main menu, press the Exit Button or to cancel setting selections.
35. CH+/CH-: Press to scroll through your Channel List.
36. SKIP FORWARD: Press to skip the next file or track in USB Mode.
37. SKIP BACKWARD: Press to skip the previous file or Track in USB Mode.
38. REC/REP: Press to record the TV program you are watching in DTV Mode or press to repeat play in USB Mode.
39. STOP: Press to Stop play in USB Mode.
Remote Control Battery Installation
The remote control requires two AAA batteries to operate. Below are steps to assist you with replacing the batteries.
1. Open the back cover of the battery compartment.
2. Install the batteries into the battery tray. There are +/- polarity markings in the battery compartment. Please ensure
the polarity is correct.
3. Close the battery cover.
Caution:
1. Keep the batteries out of the reach of children.
2. Don’t attempt to recharge, short-circuit, disassemble, heat up or throw batteries into a fire.
3. Always replace both batteries at the same time and never mix new and old batteries.
4. Remove the batteries if unused for a long period of time to prevent possible corrosion.
Notes:
Do not drop, shake or step on the remote control.
Do not spill water on the remote control.
For best use aim the remote control directly at the remote sensor.
If the remote control does not operate from a close range replace the batteries.

Installation and Connection
1. Connect the TV RF antenna cable to the RF IN port on the back of the TV.
2. To connect your video sources (including DVD, VCR, PVR or Camcorder) you can connect them to the Video Input via an
RCA Cable (Red, White and Yellow cables).
3. For a better quality connection, the YPbPr Component Video Input can be connected with the YPbPr Video Output of your
DVD, VCR or Camcorder (cables not supplied).
4. For the best quality connection, the HDMI Input should be connected via the HDMI Output of your DVD, VCR or Camcorder
(cables not supplied). Please note that this connection is not available on most older devices.
5. AV Output allows you connect your TV with another monitor or TV sets when it is in DVD or TV mode.
6. VGA Input can be connected with the VGA Output of your PC to use this TV as a monitor. There is also a PC Audio Input
for your connection with PC, see image below.
7. Connect your TV to your Mains Power. Please only connect this TV to Mains Power that matches the power specifications
(AC 100-240 Volts, 50-60 Hz) of this TV.
Please note:
After AV, YPBPR or HDMI is selected from the Source List ensure the Video Output from your connected accessory
(for example DVD player) is set to the corresponding video mode.
AV and YPbPr share the same Right/Left Audio Input.
Basic Operations
1) Press the STANDBY Button on the unit or remote control to turn the TV on or off.
Please note: For the LCD models, you are required to press the main power switch on the back of unit before
pressing the Standby Button on your remote control.
2) If you are using the TV for the first time, the Installation Guide below will be displayed to guide you through the initial
channel scan. Press the Navigation Buttons to the prompted options i.e. language or Country. Then press the OK
Button to confirm. When you have selected the options in the Installation Guide, DTV Auto Tuning will then start
automatically. You may press the Menu Button to skip ATV for DTV tuning.

3) After auto tuning, the amount of programs found and stored will be shown on the display and the first channel will
begin to play automatically.
4) To change between Digital TV (DTV) and Analog TV (ATV), press the SOURCE Button on the remote control to select
the preferred mode.
5) To change the channel in either mode, press the CH+/CH- Button or press the OK Button in TV mode to display the
Channel List. Then press the UP/DOWN Navigation Buttons to select the channel you want to watch and press the
OK Button to confirm the highlighted channel. You can also press Numeric Buttons on remote to select the channel
directly. To go back to the last channel you were watching you can press the RECALL Button on the remote control.
6) To change the source input to watch a connected accessory, press the SOURCE Button and then press the ▲or ▼
Navigation Buttons to scroll through and select the available input source.
7) To adjust the volume, press the VOL+/- Button to increase or decrease the sound level.
8) Press the MUTE Button to turn off the sound only and press it again to turn on the sound again.
9) Press the INFO Button to display the information of the channel playing. Press the Up or Down arrows to scroll up
through the information. Press the Right arrow to display the information of the next channel, and press the Left
arrow to return to the information of the current channel.
Teletext
Teletext is an information system broadcasted by certain channels which will provide detailed program information. It also
offers access to subtitles for viewers with hearing problems or who are not familiar with the transmission language (cable
networks, satellite channels, etc.) To view the TV Teletext Menu you must be watching or in DTV mode. Below are the
basic operation regarding to Teletext.
1. Press the TEXT Button to enter the Teletext Menu. Press again to exit.
2. Press the CH+/- or Numeric Buttons to select the page you wish to view. Note: When using the Numeric Buttons
the first number should not be ‘0’ or ‘9’.
3. Press the INDEX Button will open/return you to the contents page.

4. Press the HOLD Button to freeze the page.
5. Press the Subpage Button (certain pages contain sub-pages which are automatically displayed) to stop or resume
sub-page acquisition the indication appears top left.
6. Press the REVEAL Button to display or hide the concealed information.
7. Press the LIST Button to set four favourite pages directly linked to the four color keys. While list mode is activated,
it is not possible to use the Top or SFLOF navigation with the colour keys.
Main Menu Operations
Press the MENU Button and then the Navigation Buttons on the remote control to select the sub-Menus or the options you
want to change. Then press the OK Button to confirm. Press the MENU Button when you want to return to the previous
Menu, and press the EXIT Button to exit Menu setting.
Channel Menu
The TV Channel Menu will allow you to change the channel setting or search for new or weak stations with access to Auto
Tuning, ATV Manual Tuning, DTV Manual Tuning, Program Edit and Signal Information.
To enter the TV Channel Menu press the MENU Button and the Channel Menu will appear. Press the OK Button to enter.
Press the ▲or▼ Buttons to select a below sub-Menu and then press the OK Button to confirm. To exit the Channel Menu,
press the Menu Button.
Auto Tuning
Once Auto Tuning is selected, you will see an OSD below. Tune Type is highlighted above. Press the Navigation Buttons to
select DTV, ATV or ATV+DTV tuning type and Country (Australia is the default).Then press the OK to confirm and Auto
Tuning will begin automatically. During Auto Tuning you can press the MENU or EXIT Button to exit.

DTV Manual Tuning
Use the ▼ or ▲ Buttons to select DTV Manual Tuning in the Channel Menu. Then press the ◄or ► Buttons to select the individual
DTV channel you wish to store and press the OK Button to begin search. Press the Menu Button to return to previous Menu or
press the EXIT Button to exit.

ATV Manual Tuning
Use the ▼ or ▲ Buttons to select ATV Manual Tuning in the Channel Menu. Then press the ◄or ► Buttons to select the
individual ATV channel (frequency) you wish to store. Then use the Arrow Buttons to highlight the search option and press ok,
this will activate the manual tune. If the picture is not so clear you can use the Arrow Buttons to highlight the Fine-Tune
option and select Fine-Tune. Press the RED Button to save.

Notes:
You need to set the Sound System before manual tuning.
For Australia, Sound system is BG.
Program Edit
Press the ▲or▼ Buttons to select Program Edit in the Channel Menu. Then press the OK Button to enter the sub-Menu.
Then you will need to select the program you wish to edit.
Delete: Press the Red Button to delete the channel you highlighted.
Rename: (For ATV only) Press the Green Button for renaming the channel. Press the Navigation Buttons to enter a new
name and press the OK Button to confirm.
MOVE: Press the Yellow Button to move the selected channel. Then press the Numeric Buttons to enter new channel
number and press the OK Button to confirm.
SKIP: Press the Blue Button to select the Skip function and a SKIP icon will be displayed next to the program and it will be
skipped when changing the channel.
FAV: Press the FAV Button (instead of color Buttons) to set the favourite channel.
Note: If you want to view the Favorite Channel List you need to exit Program Edit Menu and then press the FAV Button.
Signal Information (Only for DTV)
Press the ▼ / ▲ Buttons to select the Signal Information in the Channel Menu. Then press the OK Button to show the related
information of the current channel.
Software Updated (USB)
Press the ▼ or ▲ Buttons to select Software Update (USB) in the Channel Menu. Then press the OK Button to update
software by using a USB. Follow the software upgrade instructions provided with the software.
Note: We recommend you perform a factory reset (refer to Restore Factory Default in OPTION menu) to ensuretheunit
is successfully upgraded.

Picture Menu
To enter the Picture Menu, press the MENU Button and then press the ◄ or ► Buttons to select the Picture Menu. Press the OK Button to enter.
Once in the Picture Menu, press the ▲ or ▼ Buttons to select the options you wish to adjust. Press the OK Button to enter
the sub-Menu. To return to the Main Menu, press the MENU Button, or press the EXIT Button to exit.

Picture Mode
There are four different Picture modes: Standard, Mild, Dynamic and User. You are only able to set the Contrast, Brightness,
Colour or Sharpness in User mode. To change the Picture Mode, press the OK Button to enter the submenu and then press
the ▲ or ▼ Buttons to scroll through the picture modes. Press the OK Button to confirm.
Contrast: Press the ◄ or ► Button to adjust the contrast.
Brightness: Press the ◄ or ► Button to adjust the brightness.
Colour: Press the ◄ or ► Button to adjust the colour.
Sharpness: Press the ◄ or ► Button to adjust the sharpness.
Tint: Press the ◄ or ► Button to adjust the tint, this option only works in VGA mode and when the VGA input is connected.
Colour Temperature: Press the ◄ or ► Button to scroll through the colour temperature: Cold, Medium, user and warm.
Aspect Ratio: There are three aspect ratios: 16:9, 4:3 and Auto.
Noise Reduction: Press the ▲ or ▼ Button to scroll through the Noise Reduction options. You can set Noise Reduction to
Off, Low, Middle, High, and Auto.
Screen: This option is for PC Mode only. Please refer to the PC section of the manual.

Sound Menu
To enter the Sound Menu, press the MENU Button, then press the ◄ or ► Button to select the Sound Menu and press the
OK Button to enter.
Once in the Sound Menu, press the ▲ or ▼ Button to select the options you wish to adjust. Press the OK Button to enter the
sub-Menu. To return to the Main Menu, press the MENU Button, or press the EXIT Button toexit.
Sound Mode
There are four Sound modes: Standard, Music, Movie, Sports and User. You are only able to set Treble, Bass in User mode.
To change the Sound Mode, press the OK Button to enter the submenu and then press the ◄ or ► Buttons to scroll through
the sounds modes. Press the OK Button to confirm.
Treble: Press the ◄ or ► Button to adjust the treble.
Bass: Press the ◄ or ► Button to adjust the bass.
Balance: Press the ◄ or ► Buttons to adjust the balance of left and right audio outputs.
Auto Volume: Press the OK Button to select Auto Volume to on or off. When it’s set to on, the volume level will stay as the
set Volume.
Audio Description: This feature allows you to listen to an audio commentary of non verbal actions that appear on-screen.
Audio Description includes spoken descriptions of; body language, expressions and movements. This feature is particularly
helpful for low vision or blind users to still be able to utilise their BLAUPUNKT TV.
In the sound menu you can turn on Audio Description and adjust the sound level by pressing the ◄ or ► Buttons.
Please note: Audio Description is only available in DTV mode and when broadcast by the local station.
Time Menu (in TV mode only)
To enter the Time Menu, press the MENU Button, then press the ◄ or ► Button to select the Time Menu, and press the OK
Button to confirm.
Press the ▲ or ▼ Button to scroll through the options in the Time Menu. Press the OK Button to enter the sub-menu. To
return to the Main Menu, press the MENU Button or press the EXIT Button to exit.

Clock: The Clock is updated by DTV program.
Off Time / On time: Once the On or OFF timer is set to ON, you may set the auto OFF or ON time personally. This will
enable you to have the unit turn on or off at as selected time.
Sleep Timer: You can set the Sleep Timer to OFF, 10mins, 20min, 30min, 60mins, 90mins, 120mins, 180mins or
240mins, press the ▲ or ▼ Button to scroll through and select the available time. The TV will automatically turn to Standby
when sleep time is set.
Auto Sleep: You can set the TV to Auto Sleep is not active after select time period. Press the ▲ or ▼ Button to scroll
through and select the available time.
Time Zone: You can set the Time Zone here. The default is New South Wales GMT +10.
Option Menu
To enter the Option Menu, press the MENU Button, then press the ◄ or ► Buttons to select the Option Menu, and press the OK Button to confirm.
Press the ▲ or ▼ Buttons to scroll through the options in the Option Menu. Press the OK Button to enter the sub-Menu. To
return to the Main Menu, press the MENU Button or press the EXIT Button to exit.
OSD Language
Press the ▼ or ▲ Buttons to select OSD Language. Then press the OK Button to enter sub-Menu. Then use the ▼, ▲, ◄ or
► Buttons to select the language. The default language is English.
Audio Language
Press the ▼ or ▲ Buttons to select OSD Language. Then press the OK Button to enter sub-Menu. Press the ◄ or ► Buttons
to select the primary or secondary language. Then use the ▼, ▲, ◄ or ► Buttons to select the language. The default language
is English.
PVR File System (only for DTV)

Press the ▼ or ▲ Buttons to select PVR File System, then press the OK Button to enter sub-Menu and then use the ▼ or ▲
Buttons to scroll through the options. Select Check PVR File System and then press the OK Button to enter. This function
will check the USB speed.
Select Disk
If you are using a Hard Disc Drive for recording and your Hard Disc Drive has more than 2 partitions, you are able to select
ONE Partition for recording. You can press the OK Button and then the right or left Button to select the particular partition
for recording. For example C or D partition, etc. The recording file will be saved in the partition you selected. If you are using
a USB device for recording, you can only select USB for recording.
Check PVR File System
Here is where you are able to check your USB or Hard Disc Drive format and see if the USB or Hard Disc Drive you are using
is compatible. If your USB or Hard Disc Drive is not compatible, you will see FAIL on the screen. You will then need to format
the device. If it is compatible then "SUCCESS" will be displayed.
Note: You will ONLY be able to perform program recording when your Hard Disc Drive or USB device is shown as compatible.
If it is not compatible you will need to use another USB or Hard Drive that is compatible.
Format
There are two types of format: FAT32 and Hi Speed Format. Press the Right or Left Navigation Buttons to select your type
of recording format.
Once you select Hi Speed or FAT32 format, you are able to press the Right or Left Buttons to select the size you wish to
use (for example 1G, 2G, 3G… or all). Once a particular size is booked for recording, you will be able to use the remaining
space of your Hard Disc Drive for your data storage.

Notes: No matter which size is booked for recording, all the data in the allocated partition of the Hard Disc Drive file will be
lost after formatting. Please ensure that you start with a blank partition on your Hard Disk to ensure you don’t lose any data.
Do NOT unplug your Hard Disc or your USB device during formatting or it will damage your device.
Speed
If the speed of your Hard Disc Drive or USB device is too low, it will not be compatible with this TV and FAIL will be displayed
on the screen. You will not be able to record with the incompatible device.
Free Record Limit
After formatting is complete, the unit will internally calculate the approximate number of hours your Hard Disc Drive or USB
device can use for recording. You can check this in this menu.
Restore Factory Default
Press the ▼ or ▲ Buttons to select Restore Factory Default and press the OK Button to enter the guide. Once confirmed,
all the settings will be cleared. This should be used if you experience any issues with your TV.

Lock Menu
To enter the Lock Menu, press the MENU Button, then press the ◄ or ► Button to select the Lock Menu, and press the OK
Button to enter.
Lock System
Press the OK Button to enter. You will be asked to input your password or the default password to activate this setting. The
default password is “6666”.
Note: When the Lock System is set to ON, you will be need to enter your password or the default password to conduct a
station rescan or to restore the TV to it factory settings.
Set Password
To change the password, press the OK Button to select ‘Set Password’ and a pop-up Menu will appear to enter your new
password. The default password is “6666”, you will need this in order to set your new password and follow the onscreen
prompts.
Block Program
To block a program from being watched, select Block Program and press the OK Button to enter the program list. Press the
▲ or ▼ Buttons to select the channel you want to block and then press the Green Button to block. The block icon will appear
behind the blocked channel. To un-lock the channel, select the blocked channel and press the Green Button again, the lock
icon will disappear.

Parental Guidance
Select ‘Parental Guidance’ and press the OK Button to enter the sub-Menu. In this Menu you will be able to set the program
rating and block selected rating/programs from view.
Hotel Lock
To turn on the Hotel Lock feature, you must select the Hotel Lock sub-Menu in the Lock Menu and press the OK Button to
enter. Then press the ◄ or ► Buttons to set the feature on ON or OFF. Press the OK Button to confirm.
Lock Channel: Once Lock Channel is set to on, you will be able to lock a specific channel from being viewed, scanned or
edited and can only be changed after a password has been entered.
Set Source: Once Set Source has been set to on the unit will be locked on the current source mode and a password will
need to be entered to change the TV source mode.
Channel Number: In either DTV or ATV mode only, you can select a channel number to be set as the TVs preset channel.
Press the ◄ or ► Buttons to select the desired channel number and it will be set as the preset channel and automatically
turn on when the TV is turned on.
Picture Lock: Once Picture Lock is set to ON the Picture settings will not be able to be adjusted without a valid password.
Key Lock: When Key Lock mode is on, all buttons including the Standby Button on the side of unit will be locked from
operation.
Max Volume: This option allows you to set the Max Volume Level.
Source Lock: This option allows you to lock specific source modes from being used (refer to the image on the next page). To
set the Source Lock option, press the OK Button in the Hotel Lock Menu to enter the Source Lock sub-Menu. Then use the
Navigation Buttons to scroll through the source options and highlight the modes you would like to change. Press the ◄ or ►
Buttons when a mode is highlighted to set the option as ON or OFF. If the option is set as ON the mode will be lock from
operation.
Please note: DTV and ATV modes can’t both ON at the same time.

Clear Lock: This option allows you to clear all lock settings. Press the OK Button to confirm.
Media Player
To playback media files from your USB/HDD or to playback recorded programs, press the Source Button on your remote
control and then select the Media Player option. Make sure your USB/HDD is connected to the USB input on the side of your
TV.
Once your USB/HDD is connected, press the ◄ or ► Buttons to select the media mode you wish to play. Recorded TV files
can be played via the movie option. Press the OK Button to enter the selected media mode and your storage device files will
be displayed on screen (see below).

Once in the chosen media mode highlight the files you would like to view and press the OK Button followed by the

PLAY Button to begin play of the files you have selected. If there is more than one page of files use the I<< or >>I
Buttons skip to the next or previous page. To stop play of a media file, just press the Stop Button on the remote
and to pause play, press the Pause Button. Alternatively you can press the OK or Info button to display the below
control bar. Use the Navigation Buttons to select the options you want to use and press the OK Button to confirm.
Press either the or EXIT Button to exit the control bar. When playing a movie file, you can
press the Fast Forward Button to skip forward in the file or press the Rewind Button to skip backwards to a
previous section of the movie. When viewing a text file you can press the I<< or >>I Buttons to move up and down
the page.
To return to the Media Menu press the MENU Button or press the EXIT Button to exit.
You can also delete files from your USB/HDD in media mode. Highlighted the files you would like to delete and press the RED
Button. The selected files will be deleted from both the screen and your storage device.
Please Note: We recommend using a powered Hard Disc Drive, please ensure the external power adaptor is firmly
connected. If you find that your Hard Disc Drive is still not supported in media player mode it may be due to the power size of
your device.
EPG Menu
The EPG (Electronic Programme Guide) Menu provides you with detailed broadcast program information. Press the EPG
Button and a pop-up Menu will be displayed with program information about the channel you are currently watching. You will
be able to see up to eight days of program information. To view the next day or more use the Navigation Buttons to highlight
the date and then press the I<< or >>I Buttons to scroll through the available dates.

To see what is going to be broadcast after the current program, press the ◄or ► Button. To view a different channel, press
the ▲ or ▼ Buttons. To exit the EPG Menu, press the EPG or EXIT Button.
Please Note: Please refer to the bottom of the EPG screen for the basic remote control key functions.
Record
In EPG mode, press the RED Button on the remote control to select a program to be recorded. Then press the Navigation
Buttons to set the Recording options provided on-screen. There are four different recording modes to choose from: Auto,
Once, Everyday and Weekly. When the recoding has been set to Auto, the start time and end time of recording rely on the
broadcast programming. When the recording has been set to Once, Everyday or Weekly, you will be able to set the start
time and end time for recording.
Notes:
Please ensure a compatible Hard Disc Drive or USB device is inserted into the USB input to scheduled recordings. If your
storage device is not compatible, you will be asked to format it. Press the MENU Button to enter the PVR File System
Menu to format your device.
If you have set a timed recording, your TV will automatically turn on when the program is set to record and will
automatically turn off after the recording is complete.
During a timed recording however the picture and volume will be mute (there will be no display), however the unit will be on.
You can press the STANDBY Button to turn the picture and volume back on.
INFO (Green Button)
In the EPG Menu, press the GREEN Button to view more information about the current program.
Schedule (Yellow Button)
In the EPG Menu, press the YELLOW Button to view the schedule list, this will display all programs set for reminder
(identified by a clock icon) or set for recording (identified by a movie icon). If you want to delete a set recording or reminder,
press the Navigation Buttons to highlight the item and then press the RED Button to delete.

Remind (Blue Button)
In the EPG Menu, press the BLUE Button to set a program reminder. The below Reminder Menu will then be displayed and
you can use the ◄or ► Buttons to set the program reminder details. You will be able to set reminder to occur Once,
Everyday or Weekly. When the program is on that you would like to watch a pop up reminder will be displayed on screen.
DTV Recording
To record the program you are currently watching press the REC Button and a red REC icon will appear on the screen. The
record time/ length and remaining record time will be displayed in the menu below.
To conceal or reveal the menu press the REC Button again. To stop recording, press the Stop Button or move the cursor to
select the Stop option when the above menu is displayed and then follow the pop-up guide.
To play what you have recorded when the recording is still in process or after the recording has finished press the Index
Button to view your recorded programs. Then use the navigation buttons to select the program you wish to play and press
the OK Button to confirm.
You may also enter the Media Player Menu to view your recorded programs via Movie mode.

Notes:

During recording, you will only be able to watch the program you are recording as this is a single tuner unit.

During recording, only the Play and Stop functions are available. The other functions in the menu will only be available
when playing back the recorded file.
Time Shift
Press the ►II Button to pause the program you are watching to activate Time Shift function. The below menu will be
displayed. This Menu will auto disappear after several seconds.
Press the ►II Button again to resume playing, and a white play icon will appear at the left of the screen, which shows that
time shift is being performed.
To conceal or reveal the menu press EXIT Button. To stop time shifting, press the Stop Button or move the cursor to select
the Stop option when the menu is on, and then follow the pop-up guide.

below Screen Menu will appear (Only available when Inputting PC-RGB signal).

Press the ▼ / ▲ Button to select the option that you want to adjust in the Screen Menu and press the ◄ / ► Button to adjust.
After finishing your adjustment, press the MENU Button to save and return to the previous Menu.
Auto Adjust Press the ▼ / ▲ Button to select Auto Adjust, then press the OK Button to start adjusting automatically.
H-Offset Press the ▼ / ▲ Button to select H-Offset, then press the OK Button to enter the sub-Menu. Press the ◄ / ►
Button to adjust.
V-Offset Press the ▼ / ▲ Buttons to select V-Offset, then press the OK Button to enter sub-Menu. Press the ◄ / ► Button
to adjust.
Size Press the ▼ / ▲ Button to select Size, then press the OK Button to enter sub-Menu. Press the ◄ / ► Button to adjust
display size.
Phase Press the ▼ / ▲ Button to select Phase, then press the OK Button to enter sub-Menu. Press the ◄ / ► Button to

Issue Solution
No power Turn off the unit at the remote and at the wall socket. Pull out the power plug. Wait
60 seconds and then plug the power cord back in, turn the power and unit back on.
No picture Check that your cables and antenna have been connected firmly.
Check that your Picture Settings are correct.
Conduct a restore setting to return settings back to the factory default.
No sound Check that your audio cables have been connected firmly.
Check that Muted Audio is not on and that Audio Settings are correct.
Conduct a restore setting to return settings back to the factory default.
Colour distortion Ensure that the equipment is connected properly.
Ensure that the AV video signal Input is connected properly.
Remote control is
not responding
Check the batteries and make sure there are no obstacles in the way of the remote
control and the sensor on the television.
Move closer to the remote sensor.
Using a digital camera (such as an iPhone camera) point the remote control facing
the camera from about 10 cm away. If you see a purple flash each time you press
the remote control then your remote control is working.
Screen glittering
under PC mode
Reset the computer and enter the safety mode, then select the appropriate screen
type by consulting the PC operation manual.
Screen traversed

The phase is not appropriate. Enter the PC’s settings and change to the correct
