IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
While using electrical appliances, in order to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock,
and/or injury to persons, basic safety precautions should be followed, including the
following:
• Read all instructions carefully, even if you are familiar with the appliance.
• To protect against the risk of electric shock, DO NOT IMMERSE the appliance,
cord set or plug in water or other liquids.
• To clean, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. Never
leave an appliance unattended when in use.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• Switch off and remove the plug from the power outlet when not in use before
assembling or disassembling parts, cleaning or carrying out any maintenance of
assembling or disassembling parts, cleaning out any maintenance of the
appliance. Never pull the cord while unplugging out from power outlet.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged in any manner. Return the
complete appliance to your nearest authorized service facility for examination,
electrical repair, mechanical repair or adjustments to avoid any hazard.
• The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by this
appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table, counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Avoid touching hot surfaces, use handles and knobs.
• Do not operate or place any part of this appliance on or near any hot surfaces
(such as gas or electric burner or in a heated oven).
• Do not abuse the cord. Never carry the appliance by the cord or yank it to
disconnect it from the outlet; instead, grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
• When using an extension cord with your appliance, make sure the extension cord
is correctly wired, and rated for its use.
• This product is intended for household use only.
• Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself; instead, take it to your Black &
Decker-owned or Authorized Service Centre for repair.

Note: The Juicer will not operate unless all the parts (pulp container (5), sieve housing (12),
latches (2,3) and cover (7)) are correctly fitted.
Note: The sieve will continue to rotate after the appliance has been turned off.
Note: Do not approach any parts that move in use. Allow the motor to come to a complete
stop before removing any part of the appliance.

Fig A - Before first use:
Before using your Juicer for the first time,
make sure it is disconnected from the
electrical supply, then remove all packaging
from the sieve & pulp container.
To remove the packaging, open the righthand latch (7), then the left-hand latch (8).
Lift the cover (5) from the appliance.
Remove the packing from the sieve (12) and
the pusher from the pulp container (3).
Pull the sieve housing & sieve from the Juicer.
All parts must be cleaned as recommended in
the section “How to take care of your Juicer”.
The motor housing must only be cleaned with
a damp cloth, and dried thoroughly before
use.
Inspect the sieve for signs of damage.
Note: Do not use the appliance if the rotating
sieve is damaged.

Juicer
Place the sieve housing (13) on the motor
housing (1), then place the sieve (12) into the
sieve housing, pressing it onto the sieve
adaptor (14).
must then be gently pushed down and
rotated in an anti-clockwise direction until it
locks in place.
A separate pusher (9) is provided for use with
the adaptor.
Warning: Never use the pusher (9) without
the adaptor in place as damage may occur.
To process round ingredients remove the
adaptor by rotating it in a clock-wise direction
then lift it from the inlet (8).
The pusher is used by first aligning the groove
with the rib in the inlet the pushing it down
gently.
How to use your Juicer
This appliance is designed to extract juice from
fruits & vegetables.
Do not use this appliance for any other purpose.
For indoor domestic use only.
Prepare material to be processed by washing
thoroughly and peeling as required. Remove
all pips and large seeds. Large items may
need to be cut into pieces to fit the inlet chute
(8).
Smaller items may be placed directly into the
chute (8) and guided into the Juicer using the
relevant pusher (9).
Make sure the speed switch (2) is in the ‘’0’’
(OFF) position, then plug the cord-set into a
power outlet.

Place the cover (5) on top of the seive
housing. Fit the hooks of the latches over the
recesses in the cover, then push the righthand latch (7) and the left-hand latch (8)
down ensuring they lock in place.
Fit the pulp container (5) onto the Juicer,
making sure the rib on the container locates
into the slot in the appliance.
Inlet Adaptor
The inlet can be adapted to suit various
ingredients. Large round items such as
apples can be processed with no adaptor
however long ingredients such as carrots
work better with the adaptor (11) in place.
The adaptor (11) is fitted by first aligning the
groove with the rib in the inlet. The adaptor

Note: Make sure that the voltage shown on
the underside of the motor housing
corresponds with the local supply voltage.
Press the switch to select speed l or ll as
required.
Press the switch to select speed l or ll as
required. Low speed should be used for soft
fruits and high speed for harder fruits.
Check the pulp collector is in place, and
place a suitable container under the spout (6).
Place the ingredients into the inlet chute. The
pusher (11) can be used to gently guide the
ingredients down the inlet chute. Do not
overload the machine. Too much pressure
may cause material to jam the inlet chute.
Note: Juice may continue to flow after the
appliance has been turned off.
