POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug — one blade is wider than the other. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse it. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature by modifying the plug in any way.
POWER CORD:
The use of an extension cord is not recommended. However, if it is absolutely necessary, be sure that the cord is (1) No. 14 AWG minimum size and rated no less than 1875 watts; (2) UL Listed; (3) as short as possible (long cords can overheat, as well as trip circuit breakers); (4) not used for operating more than one appliance at a time.

How To Use
IMPORTANT: Before first use, release the Handle Latch, open the unit, wipe the
appliance inside and out with a damp cloth or sponge and dry thoroughly. DO NOT IMMERSE the unit and do not run water directly onto the cooking surfaces. To preserve the non-stick coating, condition the cooking surfaces by spreading a light coating of cooking oil over the inside surfaces. Wipe away excess oil with a paper towel. You may use a non-stick cooking spray to condition if you prefer.
BAKING POCKETS
This unit is designed to make an assortment of tasty pockets such as corn dogs, apple turnovers, broccoli & cheese pastries, chicken pot pockets with vegetables, mini calzones, fruit pastries, and more. You may use store-bought refrigerated crescent rolls and biscuits, soft bread slices, flour tortillas, and frozen puff pastry.
1. Always pre-heat about 5-10 minutes.
2. There are 2 ways to use your Snack Maker. You can assemble 4 pockets in advance by spooning fillings into store-bought biscuits, soft tortillas, spreading peanut butter and jelly on bread slices, etc. and folding over or rolling the "pocket" then placing it in the unit. Or, you can place a sheet of puff pastry over the grid and use the back of a spoon to press the dough into the 4 sections to form hollows for the fillings. Be sure it covers the edges to avoid filling oozing out during cooking. Spoon in your filling, then top with a second sheet puff pastry. See Tips, Chart, and Recipe sections for preparation ideas.
