SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Only use this appliance to boil water.
Do not place the thermopot near an open flame.
Only use this appliance on a flat heat resistant
and dry surface.
Do not put the appliance near walls or furni-
ture, as steam and heat could change their
color and appearance.
Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of a radio or TV set, as the
thermopot generates radio interference.
To avoid injuries by electric current, short circuit or fire, do not put
any small-sized metal items near the plug.
Do not use the appliance if it has a damaged internal bulb.
Before switching on the thermopot, make sure that water level
does not exceed the maximum mark. Do not overfill the thermopot
with water; otherwise, the water could splash out while boiling.
Remember, the minimum amount of water in the thermopot should
not be lower than the lowest mark on the water level scale.
Never pour water out of the thermopot during boiling.
During the water boiling process or if hot water is in the thermopot,
do not touch any of the hot parts or the outer casing of the
appliance except for the heat-insulated handle. To avoid hot
steam causing burns, always tightly close the lid before switching
the appliance on. Avoid contact with hot steam. ATTENTION!
Never open the lid immediately before or after boiling
up.
Do not fill a hot thermopot with cold water or a cold thermopot
with hot water. ATTENTION! Avoid dramatic temperature
changes when filling the thermopot with water.
Only connect the appliance to a power supply that has protective
earthing. If your socket does not have this then contact a qualified
specialist. Do not modify the plug and do not use adapters. AT-
TENTION! Electrical shocks may happen when the appliance is connected to a power supply without protective grounding.
Clean calcium deposit (scale) from the thermopot heating ele-
ment frequently. Remember that the use of the thermopot with a
heavy scale deposit could damage the thermopot. ATTENTION!
To clean the appliance from scale, use products specially intended for this purpose.
Do not block the steam vents with any foreign objects. To prevent
burns, avoid direct contacts of the skin with a steam discharging
from the ports.
Take maximum care while opening the lid. Steam escaping from
the lid could cause burns.
To not move the appliance during water spills since splashes could
cause burns.
Do not remove the plug from socket while the appliance is oper-
ating. First, wait for the boiling process to complete.
To prevent uncontrolled spilling of water, do not incline the
thermopot, do not shake it and do not allow the appliance to fall
on the floor.

handle for this purpose.
To avoid electrical current shocks, to not put the thermopot on
ice to cool the water in it.
Do not distort the power cable and do not place it near a
source of heat. Do not wind the power cable around the
appliance and do not put heavy objects on the cable.
Only use a dry cloth to remove dust from the power cable plug
or its contacts.
While disconnecting the appliance from the power grid, to do
not pull the power cable - grasp hold of the plug and pull!

penetrates inside the panel, this could result in failures
in the appliance operation.
4. Make sure that the water level is not above a mark “Full”on
the water level scale (2). Do not turn on the thermopot when
empty. Minimum required amount of water should not be lower
than the lowest mark on the water level scale.
Note: If the water level is lower than the small pipe on the
heating element, the protection system preventing
waterless operation activates and the appliance is
switched off.
5. Push the lid (3) to close it.
6. Connect the detachable power cable (15) and insert the plug
into a socket with a power supply with voltage that should
comply with the data indicated on the appliance.

Ne démontez jamais l’appareil vous-même ; l’assemblage in-
correct peur résulter en choc électrique pendant l’usage
ultérieur de l’appareil. Tous les travaux de réparation

MESURES SPECIALES DE
SECURITE
