Subject: Announcing Bendix Forward Looking Radar (FLR) Sensor FLR10™ to FLR20™ Upgrade Kits
for Kenworth® and Peterbilt® Vehicles
Service Bendix™ FLR10™ radar sensors are no longer available. Effective immediately, Bendix™ FLR20™
radar sensor kits will be used as replacements/upgrades for most Kenworth® and Peterbilt® vehicles originally
equipped with Bendix FLR10 radar sensors. Note: Temporarily, for vehicles equipped with MX 2013 engines,
a remanufactured Bendix FLR10 radar sensor K070393 must be ordered.
Kits include a remanufactured Bendix FLR20 radar
sensor, bracket, harness adapter, hardware and
the connector mating kit needed to perform the
installation. An alignment tool (see page 3) and
digital inclinometer will also be required to complete
the installation and alignment.
Return the Bendix FLR10 radar for core credit
using the core return upgrade tag — included in
the kit — to receive a full core credit at the Bendix
FLR20 radar level.

Core Exchanges
Since the Bendix™ FLR20™ radar sensor replaces a Bendix FLR10 radar
sensor, when customers return the part for Core credit it is important to use
an orange BW1829 upgrade tag. This will alert the plant that the Core is
eligible to be applied to the Bendix FLR20 radar sensor Core group.
