Note: One person can assemble this unit.
A. PLACE the right side panel (1) flat on the floor with the
Cable Management Holes (CMS) facing up as shown in
Fig.1.
B. INSERT one end of the metal crossbar (2) into the hole
located on the inside top of the right side panel (1) as
shown. Note: You can identify the metal crossbar (2)
by the glass support post (3) attached to the center of
the bar.
C. INSERT one end of the crossbar (4) into the hole
located on the inside center portion of the right side
panel (1). Note: Crossbar (4) is the smaller diameter
metal tube and has a pre-drilled hole located IN THE
CENTER of the bar.
D. INSERT one end of the crossbar (5) into the hole
located on the inside lower portion of the right side
panel (1). Note: Crossbar (5) is the larger diameter
metal tube and has a pre-drilled hole located IN THE
CENTER of the bar.
E. INSERT the end of crossbar (6) into the hole located on
the inside front lower portion of the right side panel (1),
and crossbar (7) into the remaining hole located on the
inside front center portion of the right side panel (1) as
shown in Fig.1.
F. ALIGN all of the three pre-drilled threaded holes (8)
located on the three crossbars (2),(5) and (6) with the
holes on the sides of the right side panel (1) as shown
in Fig.1. Insert three of the six supplied screws (9)
through the holes on the sides of panel (1) and into the
pre-drilled holes on the three crossbars. SECURE the
screws using the supplied Allen wrench. Note: DO
NOT TIGHTEN THE SCREWS.
G. CAREFULLY PLACE the left side panel (10) onto the
exposed ends of the five crossbars and INSERT the
three remaining screws (9) through the holes (11) on
the sides of left panel (10), and into the pre-drilled holes
in the crossbars. TIGHTEN all 6 screws securely using
the supplied Allen wrench.
H. APPLY the four large protective flat rubber pads (12)
over the four screw heads located underneath the two
wood side panels (1) and (10) as shown in Fig. 1.
I. CAREFULLY stand the assembled unit upright so that
the crossbar (2) with the glass support post (3) is facing
upwards as shown in Fig.2, and position the unit to the
location it will occupy in the room when fully assembled
and in use. Apply the eight supplied small rubber glass
support pads (13) onto the crossbars (4), (5), (6) and
(7) as shown.
NOTE: The table is facing forward when the Cable
Management (CMS) holes are located towards the
rear of the unit.
J. From the front of the unit CAREFULLY SLIDE the large
bottom glass shelf (14) onto the lower crossbars so that
the hole in the back of the shelf is aligned with the hole
in the rear bottom crossbar, (5) and SECURE the shelf
to the crossbar using one of the two supplied glass
shelf retainer pins (15), as shown in Fig.2. Follow the
same procedure to apply the smaller size middle glass
shelf (16).
K. CAREFULLY position and place the top glass shelf (17)
onto the side wood panels with the curved shelf edge
facing the front of the unit as shown in Fig. 2. Align the
two holes (18), in the top glass shelf (17), with the
threaded inserts (19) located in the top of the side
panels (1) and (10). Insert the two supplied threaded
metal glass retainer screws (20) through the washers
(21) and the glass shelf holes (18) into the threaded
inserts (19). Hand tighten the glass retainer screws so
that the top glass is secure. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
NOTE: Position the Plasma TV, mounted on the TV
manufacturer's stand, so that it is centered on the top
glass shelf.
IMPORTANT: REMOVE THE PLASMA TV, ALL GLASS,
AND EQUIPMENT FROM THE STAND PRIOR TO
MOVING THE ASSEMBLED UNIT. DO NOT ATTEMPT
TO MOVE THE ASSEMBLED STAND AFTER THE
GLASS SHELVES HAVE BEEN INSTALLED, AND/OR
WHEN THE TV OR OTHER EQUIPMENT IS
LOCATED ON THE STAND AS THIS MAY CAUSE
THE SHELVES TO BECOME UNSECURE AND FALL.
ALWAYS PLACE THE HEAVIEST EQUIPMENT ON THE
BOTTOM SHELF.
