IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. This Rocket Extract Pro Plus Blender Set is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
6. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off attachments or accessories, and before cleaning.
CAUTION: AVOID CONTACT WITH MOVING PARTS.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or it is dropped, or has been damaged in any manner. Contact Consumer Service for examination, repair or adjustment.
8. The use of attachments, including canning jars, not recommended by the manufacturer may cause a risk of injury to persons.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
11. Do not let cord contact hot surfaces, including the stove.
12. Blades are sharp. Handle carefully. Use the blade’s collar to handle.
13. Do not blend hot liquids.
14. Always completely assemble any of the 2 blade attachments: blending blade or chopping blade, to the blender jar before adding food to be processed.
15. Always completely assemble any of the 2 blade attachments: blending blade or chopping blade blade to the blender jar or to any tumbler before placing on the motor base.
16. Never use the blender jar to process food without the lid and measuring cap properly locked in place.
17. Never place any Rocket Extract Pro Plus Blender Set attachments or accessories into a microwave oven.
18. Keep Hands and utensils out of container while blending to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damange to the unit. A scraper may be used only when the blender is not turned on.
19. Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
20. Always Operate blender with cover in place.

1. All users of this appliance must read and understand this Instruction Manual before operating or cleaning this appliance.
2. The cord to this appliance should be plugged into a 120V AC electrical outlet only.

NOTES ON THE PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will t in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t, contact a qualied electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
NOTES ON THE CORD
The provided short power-supply cord should be used to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Do not use an extension cord with this product.
PLASTICIZER WARNING
CAUTION: To prevent Plasticizers from migrating to the nish of the counter top or table top or other furniture, place NON-PLASTIC coasters or place mats between the appliance and the nish of the counter top or table top. Failure to do so may cause the nish to darken; permanent blemishes may occur or stains can appear.
ELECTRIC POWER

The control panel consists of the ON / OFF button, 2 SPEED buttons (LOW or HIGH) plus 8 PRE-PROGRAMMED buttons. All buttons have indicator lights that illuminate when active.

• Press to turn the blender ON.
• Firmly press this button to power OFF the blender.
Tips: To stop midway through any blending operation, press the button with the illuminated light. To start
the blender again press any button and the program will re-start.

Smoothie
• Pre-Programmed setting for smoothies, uniformly emulsies fruits & vegetables
for per fect consistency.
• Press the SMOOTHIE button to begin. To be used with Blending Blade
Puree
• Use this speed to puree fruits and vegetables into smooth and creamy foods. Prepare smooth soups,
avored hummus, pâtés, as well as fresh and healthy baby food.
• Press the PUREE button to begin. To be used with the Blending Blade.
Tips: When processing food, liquid is essential. Add small amounts of stock, yogurt, milk or water until
the desired consistency is reached.
Fruits containing high water content will need less or no liquids added.
Liquefy
• Ideal speed for quickly blending fruits and vegetables.
• When the LIQUEFY button is pressed, the blender will begin to blend with a lower speed, then
progressively increase speed to HIGH. To be used with the Blending Blade.
Grind
• Use this for grinding harder, single ingredient items such as: coffee beans, nuts, cinnamon sticks.
• Press GRIND button to begin. To be used with the Chopping Blade.
High
• Use this speed to uniformly ne blend or chop thick fruits and vegetables.
• Press the High button to begin processing. To be used with the Blending or Chopping Blade.
Chop
• Use this speed to coarse or nely chop fruits, vegetables, cereals or cheese. Ideal for preparing fresh salsa
and guacamole.
• When the CHOP button is pressed, the blender will CHOP 6 times, and then shut itself OFF. To be used
with the Chopping Blade.
Pulse
• Use this button for shor t bursts of power or for coarse chopping and blending any food.
• Press the PULSE button to begin the blending action. PULSE is activated as long as the button is held.
PULSE action will cease once the button is released. To be used with the Blending or Chopping Blade.
• Time the pulses so that blades come to a complete stop before pulsing.
Low
• Use this speed for lighter mixtures and creamy toppings. Ideal for mayonnaise or sauces.
• Press LOW button to begin processing. To be used with the Blending or Chopping Blade.
Frozen Drinks
• Use this speed to create frozen drinks or slushes
• When the FROZEN DRINKS but ton is pressed it will PULSE to start then give a burst of high power
for several seconds and repeat this sequence three times before shutting of f. Check contents and if necessary, restart the function to reach the desired consistency.
Ice Crush
• Use this speed to chop or crush ice.
• When the ICE CRUSH button is pressed, the blender will PULSE 6 times, then blend continuously and
shuts itself OFF. Check contents. If necessary, to add more liquid and continue to process until all cubes are reduced to the desired consistency. To be used with the Blending Blade
Tips:Remove ice cubes from freezer for 5 to 10 minutes before crushing.
Please consult the Processing Capacity Chart for suggested ice cubes and liquid to be added to the
blending jar, tall and shor t tumbler. Add 1/2 cup water or other liquid. WARNING: To avoid spills, make sure the lid is closed securely before pressing any PRE-PROGRAMMED/SPEED
buttons. Do not ll blending jar or any tumbler beyond the Max Line.

Before Using for the First Time
Carefully unpack the Rocket Extract Pro Plus Blender Set and remove all packaging materials. Check the contents to ensure that all attachments and accessories are present (see Figure 1), and have been received in good condition.
1. Handle all blade attachments: blending blade and chopping blade by their collars only. WARNING: Do not touch blades. Blending and chopping blades are very sharp. Use ex treme care when
handling. Failure to do so can result in personal injur y.
2. Wash all accessories and attachments in warm, soapy water before rst use. Rinse thoroughly.
• 1 large (32 oz.) blender jar and lid with removable measuring cap
• 2 tall (24 oz.) tumblers and 1 short (12 oz.) tumbler
• 1 tumbler ring
• 1 storage lid
• 1 travel lid
• 2 blade attachments: blending and chopping.
3. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR BASE IN WATER.
Operating Instructions

and chopping blade include a white plastic ring that creates an airtight seal during processing (See Figure
3). Always check to be sure the white seal ring is present and properly tted into the collar before use.

1. Place the motor base on a at, clean, dr y counter
top or table.
2. Make sure the blender is unplugged.
3. Depending on the amount of food to be
processed, use the large (32 oz.) blender jar, any
tall (24 oz.) tumbler or the short (12 oz.) tumbler.
Blender Jar Assembly
1. Using the blade’s collar to handle, place any of
the 2 blade attachments: blending blade and
chopping blade into the base of the blender jar.
(See Figure 4.) Always check to be sure the ring is
present and properly tted into the collar before
use. Turn clock wise to tighten the blade assembly
until snug.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the blade assembly is
properly at tached to the base of the blender jar
before adding food for processing.
2. Add food to be processed to the blender jar.
NOTE: When blending, foods or liquids tend to
expand as they rise up the side of the blending
jar. Do not ll blending jar more than the Max
Line, 4 cups (32 oz.) with food to be processed.
(Please consult the Processing Capacity Chart.)
3. WARNING: Never overll the blender jar. To avoid
or personal injury, leakage or damage to the
Rocket Extract Pro Plus Blender Set, do not ll
more than the Max Line.
4. WARNING: Pay close attention while processing.

when the blender jar is empty.

Blending/Chopping in the Blender Jar
1. Make sure the measuring cap is rmly positioned

in the lid.
2. Add the blending jar lid onto the blender jar and
twist clockwise. An audible click can be heard as
the lid is locked and sealed.
Blending/Chopping in the Tall or Short Tumbler
1. Add up to 3 cups (24 oz.) food to the tall tumbler
or 1+ cup (9 oz.) food to the short tumbler.
WARNING: Never overll the tall or short
tumbler. To avoid personal injury, leakage or
damage to the Rocket Extract Pro Plus Blender
Set, do not ll more than the Max Line. (Please
consult the Processing Capacity Chart.)
2. Holding any tumbler rmly in one hand, grasp the collar of any of the 2 blade attachments: blending blade
or chopping blade Always check to be sure the ring is present and properly tted into the collar before use. Insert the blade
into the top of tumbler. (See Figure 5.) Use the other hand to tighten by turning the blade collar clock wise
until snug.
WARNING: Never operate the Rocket Extract Pro Plus Blender when the tumbler is empty.
IMPORTANT: Always add at least 1/4 to 1/2 cup liquid to food before processing. It may be necessary to
add more liquid, depending on the density of the food and the desired nal results.
3. Invert the tumbler assembly before placing on the motor base.
4. Inser t the blade collar into the motor base,
tting the tabs into the slots on the motor base
(See Figure 6). Pressing the lid or tumbler rmly
down into the base, turn clockwise until the blade
attachment tabs lock securely in position.
5. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC electrical
outlet. Press the POWER button. The POWER
indicator light will illuminate. WARNING: To avoid spills, make sure the lid
is closed securely before pressing any PRE-
PROGRAMMED/SPEED buttons.
6. Press the desired PRE-PROGRAMMED/SPEED
button to begin processing. IMPORTANT: The Rocket Extract Pro Plus Blender will not operate unless the 3 locking tabs on the blade
collar are properly tted into the 3 slots on the motor base.
IMPORTANT! This Blender is equipped with a safety device that will cause control panel lights to ash
if the blade collar is not locked properly in position on the motor base. Press the STOP button and
adjust the blade collar. Reposition blade collar. Press any PRE-PROGRAMMED/SPEED button and resume
operation.
7. Press the lighted button to stop blending when desired consistency is reached. Check results and if
necessary, stir in liquid, water, juice (preferably organic) or stock (preferably organic) to thin puréed food
until the desired consistency is reached. WARNING: Do not operate the motor continuously for more than 1 minute at a time. Allow the motor to
rest for 3 minutes before continuing. The motor will automatically shut off after a minute of continuous
use as a safet y measure.
8. After processing food in the blender jar, turn the lid counter-clockwise to unlock and remove lid from
blender jar. (See Figure 4.) The spouted blender jar makes pouring easy.
9. After processing food in the tumbler, invert the cup/blade assembly. Hold the tumbler rmly in one hand.
Use the other hand to turn the blade collar counter-clock wise, and then lift blade attachment up and out of
the tumbler. (See Figure 5.)
10. Press the tumbler ring onto the lip of the tumbler to enjoy fresh processed juice, smoothies, or blended
drinks immediately.
11. Add the storage lid to store freshly processed food.
12. Unplug the Rocket Extract Pro Plus Blender when not in use and before cleaning.

User Maintenance Instructions
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. Contact a qualied appliance repair technician if the product requires servicing.
Care & Cleaning Instructions
CAUTION: Never immerse the motor base, plug or cord in water or any other liquid.
1. Always unplug the Rocket Ex tract Pro Plus Blender before cleaning.
2. Whenever possible, rinse attachments and accessories immediately after processing for both sanitary
reasons and to make cleanup easier.
3. Always handle blades using the blade collar. CAUTION: Use ex treme care when handling blades. Do not touch the blades with your ngers. The blades
are very sharp and can cause injury if touched. IMPORTANT! All blade attachments: blending blade or chopping blade blade include a seal ring that
creates an airtight seal during processing. Always check to be sure the ring is present
and properly tted into the collar before use.
4. For quick clean-ups, ll the blender jar or any tumbler 1/4 full with clean, warm water. Following the steps
outlined in the Operating Instructions, process on LOW for 5 seconds. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
5. If necessary, soak blades in soapy water for 10 to 15 minutes. Use any small nylon bristle brush to remove
processed food from the blade and the blade area.
6. Wash all lids and tumbler rings in warm soapy water. Rinse and dr y thoroughly. CAUTION: Never use rough scouring pads or abrasive cleansers on any plastic or metal parts as the
surface may be damaged.
7. All attachments and accessories, except for the motor base, are top-rack only dishwasher safe.
8. The motor base may be wiped with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry thoroughly. WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR BASE IN WATER.
Storing Instructions
1. Unplug and clean blender.
2. Store in original box or in a clean, dry place.
3. Never store the Rocket Extract Pro Plus Blender immediately af ter use or while it is plugged in.
4. Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance. Never place any stress on cord, especially where the cord
enters the motor base, as this could cause the cord to fray and break.
Troubleshooting
Problem Cause Solution
When a PRE-PROGRAMMED/ SPEED button is pressed, all lights on the control panel begin to ash. Rocket Extract Pro Plus Blender will not operate.
The blender motor rotates very slowly.
Ingredients are not mixing together well.
The Rocket Extract Pro Plus Blender has stopped operating. All control panel lights are ashing.
Blender jar or tumbler is not correctly as sembled onto the motor base.
Blender jar or tumbler is overloaded.
Heavier ingredients have fallen to the bottom.
• A hard or brous ingredient, such as a chunk of carrot or celery can get stuck in the blade and prevent it from turning.
• The motor is overheated.
• Press the ON/OFF button to reset. Reposition blender jar or tumbler. Align 3 locking tabs on the blade collar with 3 slot s on the motor base. Pre ss dow n rmly on the blender jar lid or tumbler and turn clockwise until the tabs lock into p osition.
• Press any PRE-PROGRAMMED/SPEED button to resume operation.
• Remove some food from the tumbler or the blender jar and continue blending.
• Add liquid to the blender jar or tumbler and continue blending.
• If necessary, remove blender jar or tumbler and shake ingredients to re-distribute. Continue blending.
• If the puree is still not blended smoothly, it may be necessary to add liquid to the blender jar or tumbler and continue blending.
• Remove the blade at tachment and remove any debris, if necessary. Stir food and replace blade.
• Allow the Rocket Extract Pro Plus Blender to res t for at least 3 minutes. Then replace blender jar or tumbler and continue blending.
