18. Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is plugged in.
19. Scalding may occur if the coffee maker lid is opened during the brewing cycle.
20. The mug is designed for use with this appliance. It must never be used on a range
top.
21. Do not place the mug on a wet or cold surface or in a microwave oven.
22. Do not use the mug if it is cracked or has a weakened handle.
23. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
CAUTION: This appliance is hot during operation and retains heat for some time after
turning off. Always use oven mitts when handling hot material and allow metal parts to
cool before cleaning. Do not place anything on top of the Toaster while it is operating
or while it is hot.
CAUTION: DO NOT toast pastries with runny llings or frosting.
DO NOT toast torn slices of bread. DO NOT place buttered bread or wrapped food into
the Toaster. DO NOT toast small-size bread, mini-baguettes, breadsticks, etc.

WARNING: This appliance generates heat and escaping steam during use. Proper
precautions must be taken to prevent the risk of burns, res, or other injury to persons
or damage to property.
1. All users of this appliance must read and understand this Instruction Manual
before operating or cleaning this appliance.
2. The cord to this appliance should be plugged into a 120V AC electrical outlet only.
3. Use water only in tank of the coffee maker! Do not put any other liquids or food
products in this appliance. Do not mix or add anything to the water placed in this
appliance, except as instructed in the User Maintenance Instructions to clean the
appliance.
4. DO NOT attempt to move an appliance containing hot liquids or food. Allow
appliance to cool completely before moving.
5. Keep appliance at least 4 inches away from walls or other objects during operation.
Do not place any objects on top of appliance while it is operating.
Place the appliance on a surface that is resistant to heat.
6.
If this appliance begins to malfunction during use, immediately press Cancel if you
are toasting and unplug the cord from wall outlet. Do not use or attempt to repair
the malfunctioning appliance.
7. If this appliance falls or accidentally becomes immersed in water or any other
liquid, unplug it immediately.
Do not reach into the water! Do not use this appliance after it has fallen into or has
become immersed in water.

9. Always use fresh, cool water in your appliance.
Warm water or other liquids, except as listed in cleaning section, may cause
damage to the appliance.
The provided short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) should be
used to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer
cord.
CAUTION: If an extension cord is used:
a. The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension cord
should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance,
b. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding
type 3-wire cord; and
c. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top
or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
Notes on the Plug
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce
the risk of electric shock, this plug will t in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t, contact a
qualied electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
Plasticizer Warning
CAUTION: To prevent Plasticizers from migrating to the nish of the counter top or
table top or other furniture, place NON-PLASTIC coasters or place mats between the
appliance and the nish of the counter top or table top. Failure to do so may cause the
nish to darken; permanent blemishes may occur or stains can appear.
Electric Power
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may not
operate properly. It should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from
other appliances.
1. Ensure the unit is connected to the main power supply.
2. Adjust the browning control to brown the toast to your desired taste.
3. Place one or two slices of bread into the toasting slots and press the loading lever down until it latches.
The toaster will heat up automatically and start toasting.
4. To stop toasting press the CANCEL button at any time.
5. The loading lever will rise automatically when toasting is nished. The toast can be safely removed.
6. If the toast is not dark enough, you can toast the bread again. It is suggested to adjust the browning
control to a lower setting to ensure the toast does not burn while re-toasting.
Browning Control
The browning control enables adjustment of toasting time and has the following settings:
• 1 - 2 for light toasting
• 3 – 5 for medium toasting
• 6 – 7 for dark toasting
Cancel Function
Press the CANCEL button if bread starts to smoke. The CANCEL button can be pressed at any time during
toasting.
CAUTION:
1. If toaster star ts to smoke, press CANCEL to stop toasting immediately.
2. Remove all protective wrapping before using the toaster.
3. Do not toast food with runny ingredients.
4. Never attempt to remove bread jammed in the slots without rst unplugging the toaster from the electrical
outlet. Be sure not to damage the internal mechanism or heating elements when removing bread.
5. The bread slot is to be used for toasting regular bread slices only. Do not use the toaster to toast irregular
shaped bread or round bread.
How to Use the Coffee Maker
CAUTION: Use extreme caution when opening the lid after brewing.
Any residual water in the tank will be discharged from the shower head as hot steam.
1. Lift the lid and pour one 5 oz - 14 oz mug of cold water into the water tank. The water level indicator steps
are marked on the inside back wall of the unit. IMPORTANT: Before brewing, always check to make sure the unit is switched OFF and the water level is past the MIN line. Never exceed the MAX 14 oz ll line.
2. Place an empty mug on the tray.
3. If required, place the permanent lter in the removable lter basket.
4. Plug the unit into a 120V AC electrical wall outlet only.
5. Press the power switch to ON. Once the red light is illuminated, the Coffee Maker will begin the brew
cycle.
6. Upon completion of the brew cycle, power OFF the cof fee maker, do not remove the mug until the dripping
has ceased.
7. Verify that the power switch light of the coffee maker is off to ensure the brew cycle is complete.
8. Unplug the unit from the wall outlet when not in use.
Coffee Yield
One Cup Drip Coffee Maker: 5 oz -14 oz A 5-oz. serving is the standard size used to dene a cup of coffee. Your
Coffee Maker is capable of brewing 5 to 14 ounce (142 ml to 410 ml) servings. To dispense the most accurate
serving size, ll your mug or bowl with water to the desired level and pour it directly into reservoir.

USER-SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE. REPAIR SHOULD BE DONE BY AUTHORIZED SERVICE PERSONNEL ONLY.
Permanent Coffee Filter
The permanent lter included with the Coffee Maker eliminates the need for disposable papers lters. Use the
handle on the permanent coffee lter to remove it from the lter basket; discard used coffee grounds, rinse the
lter and replace it in the unit.
1. Place the permanent lter in the removable lter basket.
Add ground coffee and close lid. Approximately 1 level tablespoon is recommended per cup (5 oz) of
coffee desired. For stronger or milder coffee, adjust amount of coffee ground to suit your taste.
Do not exceed the max line in the lter basket.
2. Using the desired cup size as your measure, add cold water to the water tank.
3. Place and center the mug under the nozzle and follow steps 4-7 from the how to use the coffee maker.
NOTE: The amount of brewed cof fee will always be less than the amount of water placed into the water
reservoir; as much as 10% is absorbed by coffee grounds and lter.
Pod Coffee
Use any standard single serve pod
1. Remove the permanent lter from the removable pod/lter basket. Place 1 pod directly into the removable
lter basket and close lid.
2. Using the desired cup size as your measure, add cold water to the water tank.
3. Place and center the mug under the nozzle and follow steps 4-7 from the how to use the coffee maker.
Loose Tea
1. Remove the permanent lter from the removable pod/lter basket.
2. Add 1 cup (5 oz) cold water to the water tank.
3. Place one tea bag into your cup
4. Place and center the mug under the nozzle and follow steps 4-7 from the How to Use the Coffee Maker
section.
5. Allow the water and tea bag to steep in the cup for approximately 2-3 minutes or to desired taste
Oatmeal
1. Remove the permanent lter from the removable pod/lter basket.
2. Add 1 cup (4oz or 125ml) of cold water to the water tank.
3. Empty the contents from one package (approximately 33g) of instant oatmeal into the cup
4. Place and center the mug under the nozzle and follow steps 4-7 from the how to use the coffee maker.
NOTE: to control the consistency of the oatmeal, adjust the amount of water accordingly
Cup of Soup
1. Remove the permanent lter from the removable pod/lter basket.
2. Add 1 cup (5oz) cold water to the water tank.
3. Empty the contents from one instant soup package (approximately 13g) directly into the cup
4. Place and center the mug under the nozzle and follow steps 4-7 from the how to use the coffee maker.
5. When brewing is complete, stir the contents and allow them to steep for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Hot Chocolate & Hot Cider
1. Remove the permanent lter from the removable pod/lter basket.
2. Add approximately 1.5 cups (7.5oz) cold water to the water tank, or as directed on the drink package.
3. Empty the contents from the drink package (approximately 21g) directly into the cup
4. Place and center the mug under the nozzle and follow steps 4-7 from the How to Use the Coffee Maker
section.
5. When brewing is complete, stir the contents and allow them to steep for an additional 1-2 minutes.
NOTE: adjust the amount of water to taste
How To Use The USB Charging Port
This machine comes equipped with a USB charging por t for all your electronic charging needs. Charge almost
all of your portable devices and enjoy the kitchen by plugging in and listening to your music. This port is
certied for use in North America by level 4 standards with a 5W charging capacity. The light on the USB port
is a power indicator for the appliance; it does NOT indicate that the USB port is charging a device. Do not
leave your device charging for prolonged periods. Do not charge your device if it has a full charge in order to
avoid overcharging the batter y.
Note: This USB charging port does not charge devices which require more than 5W (iPad’s and similar
devices)
