5.3. Deodorising Module (FreshGuard)
(This feature is optional)
The deodorising module eliminates the bad odours in your refrigerator in a short while before they pervade the surfaces. Thanks to this module located in the ceiling of the fresh food
compartment, the air actively passes over the odour filter, meanwhile bad odour molecules decompose, and the air that has come out after being cleaned is given back into the fresh food compartment. This way, the unwanted odours that may form while foods are being stored in the refrigerator can be eliminated before they pervade the surfaces.
This is achieved via the fan, LED and the odour filter in the module. The deodorising module will get automatically activated periodically. The noise that will be heard due to the fan during the periodical operation is normal. If the door of the fresh food compartment is opened while the module is active, the fan will stop temporarily and it will continue to operate once the door has been closed. In case of power failure, the deodorising module will start to operate once the power is back.
Info: To prevent bad odours that may emerge from the mixing of smells of different foods, we recommend you to store aromatic foods such as cheese, olives and delicatessen products in their sealed packages. For the safety of other foods stored and to prevent odours, we recommend you to remove the foods you have realised are spoiled from the refrigerator as soon as possible.
