SX3242FX allows you to e ortlessly
achieve premium-quality sound,
thanks to 24 of our studio-grade XENYX
Mic Preamps, 2 full stereo channels
with 4-band EQ, plus 2 additional sets
of stereo inputs channels with Level
and Aux controls.
All mono channels feature our ultra-
musical, 3-band “British” channel EQs,
complete with a semi-parametric
mid band for the ultimate in sound sculpting. Add to this not one, but
two of our 24-bit dual-engine stereo FX processors with 99 awesome
presets including reverb, chorus, anger, delay, pitch shifter and various
multi-e ects – and the SX3242FX becomes an incredibly versatile mixer for
your recording projects and live performances.

The SX3242FX features our legendary, high
headroom XENYX mic preamps, which have
been praised by audio engineers all over
the world. These state-of-the-art mic pres
represent a major step in the evolution of
audio technology – and they can easily hold
their own, even when compared to the most
expensive stand-alone mic preamps. XENYX
preamps o er a staggering 130 dB of dynamic
range, with a bandwidth that extends from
below 10 Hz to well above 200 kHz. Armed with
these outstanding mic preamps, the SX3242FX

Sublimely Musical British EQ
The British consoles of the 1960s and ‘70s
changed the sound of rock and roll – without
them the British Invasion might not have
happened. Those legendary mixing desks
soon became the envy of engineers and
producers all over the world. The channel EQ
on our XENYX mixers is based on that very
same circuitry, allowing you to imbue signals
with incredible warmth and detailed musical

these equalizers exhibit sweet forgiveness and

Every SX3242FX mixer features not one, but two of our 24-bit dual-engine stereo FX processors
– with 99 awesome presets including reverb, chorus, anger, delay, pitch shifter and various
multi-e ects. Complete with a highly accurate input meter, these studio-grade e ects provide
stunningly-professional results, and can be routed to a wide range of destinations, ensuring the
ultimate in versatility.
FBQ - Totally Feedback-Free
For more than 20 years, BEHRINGER has designed and manufactured some of the most successful
FBQ Feedback Elimination processors. Now you can own and enjoy the bene ts of this technology,
as we have integrated the revolutionary FBQ Feedback Detection System in this product, so your
sound system is completely feedback-free, allowing you to focus on your performance. Utilizing
an ultra-fast feedback detection system, this ingenious circuitry helps you recognize and tame
feedback frequencies immediately. When feedback is sensed in a speci c frequency range, the LED
on the associated EQ fader illuminates, showing you at a glance which fader to lower to overcome
the feedback. That simple!

The 32-Input SX3242FX comes equipped with 24 of our legendary, Phantom powered XENYX Mic
Preamps, 4 stereo Input channels, 2 Aux Sends and 2 stereo FX Returns, plus Inserts on all mono
channels. Other features include: 4 Subgroups for mixing versatility; Main Inserts (the ideal path for
connecting graphic equalizers or compressor/limiters); Mono Out with sweepable Low-Pass Filter for
direct connection to active subwoofers – and a dedicated Talkback channel, with a built-in mic for
communicating with the talent.
