Thank you for showing your con dence in us by purchasing the BEHRINGER HEAVY DISTORTION HD300. This high-quality e ects pe dal enables you to produce super thick, tube-like distortion plus endless sustain. Thanks to its high-per formance features you can achieve the typic al hard rock or heavy met al distortion sounds, when playing over a clean amp channel.

(1) The LEVEL control adjusts the output level.
(3) The BOTTOM control allows you to b oost/cut the low-frequenc y range.
(4) The DIST(ortion) control adjusts the amount of distor tion.
(5) The GAIN BOOST control adjusts the gain for more extreme distor tion sounds.
(6) The ON/BATT LED illuminates when the e ect i s activated. It also serve s as a battery level indic ator.
(7) Use the footswitch to ac tivate/deactivate the e ect.
(8) Use this ¼" TS IN connector to plug in the instrument cable.
(9) The ¼" TS OUT connector sends the signal to your amp.
Use the DC IN connection to plug in a 9 V power supply (not included).
The BATTERY COMPARTMENT is located underneath the pedal cover. To install or replace the 9 V batter y (not included), press the hinges with a ballpoint pen and remove the pedal cover. Be careful not to scratch the unit.
The HD300 has no on/o switch. As soon as you insert the plug into the in connec tor,
the HD300 is on. When not in use, remove the plug f rom the in connector. This extends the life of the battery.
The SERIAL NUMBER is located at the underside.
