Thank you for show ing your condence in us by purcha sing the BEHRINGER ULTRA BASS FLANGER BUF300.
This high-quality e ects pedal deliver s incredible anging ee cts specially designed for bass guitars to
take your sound to a new level.
Originally, the anger eect was generated by using two tape recorders running synchronously.
The same audio signal was recorded on both machines. If you put a nger on the le ft spool of one
of the machines, the spool and t he playback speed are slowed down. The generated delay results in
phase shif ting of the signals.

(1) The MANUAL control adjusts the starting point for the modulation of the anging eect.
(2) The DEPTH control adjusts the anging range that is altered by the center frequency s et
with the MANUAL control.
(3) The RAT E control determines the speed of the anging eect.
(4) The RES(onance) control determines the amount of output signal fed back to the anger input to
increase the resonance f requency. That way the anging e ect gets more intensi ve.
(5) The ON /BATT LED illuminates when the e ect is activated. It also serve s as a battery level indic ator.
(6) Use the foot switch to activate/deac tivate the eect.
(7) Use this ¼" TS IN connector to plug in the ins trument cable.
(8) The ¼" TS OUT connector s ends the signal to your amp.
Use the DC IN connection at the front of the unit to plug in a 9 V power supply (not included).
The BATTERY COMPARTMENT is located underneath the pedal cover. To install or rep lace the 9 V battery,
press the hin ges with a ballpen and remove th e pedal cover. Be careful not to sc ratch the unit.

◊ The BUF300 has no on/o switch. As soon as you insert the plug into the in connec tor,
the BUF300 is on. When not in use, remove the plug f rom the in connector. This extends
the life of the battery.
The SERIAL NUMBER is loc ated at the underside.

Do not service produc t yourself. Contact our qualied servicing p ersonnel for serv icing or repairs,
especially w hen power supply cord or plug is damaged.
