This Easy Start Guide will help you setup your Aztech WIPC411FHD IP Camera to connect to your network for the first time. Before you
continue with the installation, ensure that your modem’s Internet connection is UP. This Easy Start Guide together with the User Manual

A PACKAGE CONTENTS
The following items below are included in your WIPC411FHD package.
C INSTALLATION STEPS
Connect your Aztech WIPC411FHD to your router’s Ethernet LAN port using
an Ethernet cable.
NOTE: Ensure that your router’s internet connection is UP, for you to access
your WIPC411FHD via the Internet.
Connect the power adapter to your WIPC411FHD camera and plug it into a
power outlet to switch it ON.
You can either set it up using your mobile phone or your Computer / Laptop.
If you are using a mobile phone, it is recommended to connect over the same
Local Area Network where your WIPC411FHD is connected.
• For Android Users, please go to 3A (see Page 3).
• For Apple Users, please go to 3B (see on Page 5).
• For Desktop / PC Users, please go to 3C (see Page 6).
Download and Install the Aztech IP Cam App 2 on
Google Play. You may also scan the QR Code found
on the packaging box to automatically search for the
application.
Launch the Aztech IP Cam App 2 then tap the
button to begin adding a camera.
You may use the Scan button to scan the UID found
at the bottom label of the camera, Search to scan
for connected camera(s), or manually enter the
information needed.
NOTE: This 20-digit information is found at the
bottom label of your Camera. The UID is unique for
every device.

Enter your camera’s Security Code (password).
NOTE: The default Security Code for all Cameras is
admin.
Enter the camera’s Name. (e.g. Cherry’s Camera)
then press OK to apply changes.
You may now start viewing your WIPC411FHD’s
monitored area.

3A FOR ANDROID USERS
Select your WIPC411FHD Camera by tapping the
beside the camera that you wish to connect to your
wireless network.
Tap the Edit Camera icon .
On the Edit Camera > Advanced Setting section, tap the
Advanced button. Wait for the app to finish retrieving
all wireless networks within range.
After retrieving the Wireless Networks, tap on the
Manage Wi-fi Networks button. A dropdown selection
list would appear.
On the dropdown selection list, tap on the dropdown
arrow and select an SSID (wireless network name).
NOTE: For a more detailed guide of the WIPC411FHD
IP Camera, you may refer to the User Manual.

To connect your camera via Wireless Settings simply follow

1 Connect your router to your computer’s Ethernet LAN port using an
Ethernet cable.
2 Connect the power adapter to your router, plug it into a power outlet

After selecting the correct SSID, enter the wireless
network’s password then press OK. Wait for the
camera to successfully connect with your router.
After the Camera successfully connects with your
router, simply tap the OK button to finish the setup. The
Advanced Setting > SSID area would indicate the SSID
(in this case Aztech7008-8AFB) you are connected to
with a Connected status.

3B FOR APPLE USERS
Download and install the Aztech IP Cam App on
AppStore or you may also scan the QR Code found
at the Packaging Box to search for the application.
Launch the Aztech IP Cam App then tap the
icon and tap the Add Manually icon on the next
page to begin adding a camera.
You may use the QR Code button to scan the
UID found at the bottom label of the camera,
LAN Search to scan for connected camera(s), or
manually enter the information needed.
NOTE: The 20-digit UID is unique for every device.
Enter your camera’s Security Code (password).
NOTE: The default Security Code for all Cameras
is admin.
You may also edit the camera Name (e.g. Cherry’s
Camera) in this page.
Press Add. You may now start viewing your camera’s
monitored area.

• If you are connecting your IP camera wirelessly, disconnect the Ethernet cable ONLY after you
have completed the setup. Your IP Camera will automatically connect to your access point
within 2 minutes. Disconnect and reconnect the power adapter to perform device reboot. After
reconnecting, it will take about 10 seconds before the camera will auto-pan and tilt. After the
boot up process, use the WIPC411FHD Utility to launch the IP Camera’s Web User Interface.
• In using a Third Party DDNS, active DDNS Account is required. You may refer to your Third Party
DDNS Server on how to register and create an account.
• Ensure that you have set the Port Forwarding feature of your router to access the IP Camera via
PC remotely. You may refer to the User Manual of your router regarding this function.
• After configuring the Port Forwarding settings of your router, launch the IP Camera’s Web User
Interface again and uncheck the DHCP / Static box then click Submit to save the current IP
Address of the IP Camera.
• It is important to ensure that the Default Device Password (admin) is changed during the Initial
Set up for User Security Purposes.
• On proper SD card placement, ensure that its metal contacts are be faced down. It is also
important to insert the SD card first before turning ON your IP Camera.
• Ensure to insert the SD Card first before enabling the alarm notification through an FTP server.
• To use the RTSP feature of your IP Camera, through VLC or other kinds of media player, on your
browser’s URL type in RTSP://your camera’s ip address:554/stream use /11 is for first stream,
/12 for the 2nd stream, and /13 for the third stream.
If you want to edit your camera’s settings, tap the
icon of the camera that you want to edit then
tap the Edit Camera icon .
On the Edit Camera section, tap the Advanced
Setting button.
On the Advanced Setting page, tap on the Security
Code button.
Enter the Old password of your IP camera,
then enter the New password that you prefer
and reconfirm entry. Tap OK to save and apply
settings.

3C FOR DESKTOP/PC USERS
If you wish to have the External Access address
for remote access, click the GET button then
enter admin as its username and password on
the Validate Authentication window. You may then
copy the url link and use it to access the camera
remotely.
NOTE: The DDNS feature will only work after a
successful Port Forwarding setup.
On the WIPC411FHD Utility, ensure that Auto
is ticked then click the Open button (beside the
Internal Access field) to launch the Web User
Interface.
The SEClientOCX_setup.exe Message will pop up.
Click Run to install the application.
This will launch the IP camera’s web user interface.
Input admin for both Username and Password.
For First time Use, the OCX Plug-in is needed.
Click Download and Install Player to view camera
videos smoothly.
Click the Network Tab, and select WiFi on the
submenu.
On the Enable Wireless settings, select ON.
Search for the SSID or the Wireless Network you
want to connect your WIPC411FHD Camera to.
Input the password and click the Apply button to
save changes.
On the Check Wireless Set settings, click the
Check button to verify if the Wireless Setting is
successful.
Click the Apply button.
Disconnect the Ethernet cable from the Camera
and reboot the device.

B. Using the WPS Button of the Camera
If your router has a Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) feature, you may use the WPS button
of the WIPC411FHD to easily connect to your router. To do this process, you must first
check your router’s User Manual for the NUMBER OF SECONDS required in activating
its WPS feature.

Donwload and launch the Aztech WIPC411FHD
Utility from the Aztech Support Site (www.aztech.
com/support).
Click the Find button to search for all available
WIPC411FHD IP Cameras on your network.
Select your WIPC411FHD device.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
• Internet Explorer users are strongly advised to add the Aztech WIPC411FHD’s web user interface to its
Compatibility Viewing list. You may refer to the User Manual (downloadable from the support site) for
further instructions regarding this area.
• Ensure to update your web browsers. For Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, and Internet Explorer
11 / Win 8, there is no need to install ActiveX. However, Mozilla Firefox requires the latest Adobe Flash
player installed.
• For Safari users, since QuickTime is the default software, on the Applications > Utilities, start the
Command line / Terminal program and type in: qtdefaults write TransportSettings HTTP 8081
