USING OPTIONAL
STRAPS
A deluxe wrist strap, a petite wrist strap, and a
shoulder strap are optional accessories for th e
Monarch® Pathfinder® Ultra® Silver and Platinum
printers. The wrist straps help support the printer in
your hand, making it easier to print and apply labels .
The shoulder strap allows you to carry the printer
easily and hold extra batteries. Multiple straps cannot
be used together.

Attaching the Deluxe and Petite Wrist
Straps
To attach the strap to the printer:
1. Lay the strap out flat so the angled sides face up.

2. Turn the printer upside down, and place it on a
table so the keypad faces you.
3. Thread the right end of the strap through the right
strap holder so the angled part faces up. Move it
down and out the side. Fold the end over and
attach it to the VELCRO
®
.

4. Repeat step 3 for the left side of the strap.
5. Turn the printer upright, stick your hand through
the loop, and grab the printe r’s handle. Adjust the
pad as necessary.

6. To tighten the strap, detach the part of the strap
attached to the VELCRO (behind the pad) a nd pull
until it is as tight as you need around your wrist.
Reattach the piece to the VELCRO to hold it in
place.
Removing the Wrist Strap
To loosen or remove the stra p, detach the part
attached to the VELCRO (behind the pad) a nd adjust
as necessary, or remove your hand.
About the Safety Feature
The plastic loops on eithe r side of the wrist straps are
a safety feature to protect you from personal injury.
The loops come apart and break the strap into pieces
if it gets caught on something and pulled away.

To attach the shoulder strap to the printer:

1. Turn the printer upside down and place it on a
table so the keypad faces you.
2. Attach the connection ring to the right strap
holder. Then attach the strap clip to the
connection ring as shown. Repeat on the other
side.
