bottom of the telephone base.
Save your sales receipt and original packaging in case it is necessary to return
your telephone for warranty service.

Before you begin
you must install and charge the battery,
see page XX for Battery installation instructions.
Please read and follow these instructions carefully:
• Use only the supplied rechargeable battery or
replacement battery.
• Observe the proper polarity orientation between the
battery and handset during battery installation.
• Do not dispose of the battery in a fire. Check with
local codes for special disposal instructions.
• Do not open or mutilate the battery. Released
electrolyte is corrosive and may cause damage to the
eyes or skin. It may be toxic if swallowed.
• Exercise care in handling batteries in order not to
create a short circuit with conductive materials such
as rings, bracelets, and keys. The battery or conductor
may overheat and cause harm.
• Charge the supplied battery or replacement battery
with this product only in accordance with the
instructions and limitations specified in this manual.
• Do not disassemble your telephone. There are no userserviceable parts inside. Refer to qualified service
personnel for servicing.
