Magpie and magpie-nest myna and myna-nest
The AL-MAGPIE-NEST is the remote charging/
docking station for AL-MAGPIE wireless
infrared microphones. This low profile charging
unit has the ability to charge the high capacity,
lithium-ion batteries of two MAGPIE wireless
microphones simultaneously.

Detachable Lanyards
Each wireless microphone in the Atlas Learn
product family includes a detachable lanyard for
convenient, hands free microphone use. The
MAGPIE’s lanyard features a magnetic safety
breakaway connection for easy and quick removal.
MYNA lanyard also features a breakaway safety
release and includes an ID badge clip.
The AL-MYNA-NEST is the remote charging/
docking station for the AL-MYNA wireless
infrared microphone. This charging unit has the
capability of charging the NiMH batteries of two
MYNA wireless microphones simultaneously and
features a removable panel that covers a charging
bay for 4 additional rechargeable NiMH batteries.

Amplified Learning™
AL2430 Receiver / Amplifier
The versatile AL2430 receiver/amplifier coordinates all Atlas
Learn functions in a compact, easy to use control center.
Front panel volume controls are provided for two microphones (A and B), as well as four other external audio
sources like Computer, TV, CD, or Auxiliary audio. The rear panel includes all connections and adjustments
needed to maximize performance in any size classroom. Inputs are provided to accommodate up to three
infrared (IR) domes, which receive signal from the wireless microphones and transmit back to the amplifier /
receiver via UL Listed coaxial cable. Three bands of equalization are provided to help
eliminate feedback and optimize sound quality, a priority page input allows local
audio to be overridden when a page is initiated from external bell or intercom
systems and a line output is included for connection to an external amplifier,
recording device, or hearing assistance system. “Panic” contact closure
may be triggered from any AL system IR microphone transmitter and is
easily integrated with Atlas ControlKom 2.0 hardware & software (sold
separately) to provide instant dial out to office or security personnel
phones in the event of a classroom emergency.
The AL2430 includes Atlas Sound’s patent pending through chassis
design, which allows the unit to be pole mounted above the projector
if security is a concern. Optional mounting kits are also available for rack
installation or the system can be easily shelf or desk mounted with no
additional hardware.

Atlas Learn Accessories
AL-IRDS Infrared Dome Sensor
Infrared is advantageous because it does not operate on
frequencies that can be disrupted by wireless Internet routers,
cordless phones, or other devices. Additionally, infrared
eliminates the possibility of cross talk between two adjoining
rooms as the IR dome(s) in each room receive only the signal
from microphones used in their proximity.
Optional Microphones
AL-MAGPIE and AL-MYNA wireless microphones include a 3.5mm connection that can be used in conjunction
with an external microphone. Atlas Learn offers the AL-HSM headset microphone, the AL-CM collar microphone,
and the AL-LM lapel microphone. The AL-HSM is ergonomically designed to fit over the ear and behind the head
with a jaw line microphone for optimal sound pick up.
