Introduction
ASUS U3000/U3100 Mini is an easy-to-use product, allowing you to watch digital TV with Eee PC.
Installing U3000/U3100 Mini on your Eee PC
ASUS U3000/U3100 Mini could be installed in Linux or Windows® XP operating system.
To install U3000/U3100 Mini in Windows® XP environment, refer to the user guide in the support CD.
To install U3000/U3100 Mini:
1. Connect an external optical drive to your Eee PC, and insert the support CD into the external optical drive.

Linux folder, and copy these two files to your Eee PC:
EeePC folder from the support CD.
EeePC-TVDrv and EeePC-TVAP.
You can also use a USB flash disk to copy the EeePC-TVDrv and EeePC-TVAP files to your Eee PC.
Open in File Manager.
5. Double-click to extract the two files.
6. Go to
Work > File Manager, and put all the extracted files in
My Home.

7. Press <Ctrl> + <Alt > + <T> to open the console mode.

11. After installation, close the console mode window. Restart your

Watching digital TV with U3000/U3100 Mini
1. Connect the U3000/U3100 Mini to your Eee PC. The Digital TV application plays automatically. If it does not display automatically, double-click the Digital TV icon from the Play tab.
2. Press
<F1> the first time you launch the application.

3. Select Scan, and press <Enter>.
4. From the
Scan menu, select the territory, and then press
<Enter>.
5. The application scans channels automatically. When scanning is completed, press <Esc> to save the channel settings and close the application.
6. Double-click the
Digital TV icon from the Play tab to start
watching digital TV.
7. Press
<PgUp> or <PgDn> to switch channels. Press <F1> to launch the main menu. Press <Z> to switch the broadcast audio (if the SAP mode is avalable). Press <Esc> to close the application.
