Self-upgrade to Windows® 7 for your Eee Box PC EB1006 with

Windows® XP Home, XP Pro, or Vista Home Basic

 Bluetooth (v6.0.1804.0) if your Eee Box PC is equipped with Bluetooth device
 ACPI driver (1043.5.0.0)
 Asus Update (v7.16.01)
 Eee Manager Suite (v2.10.03 or later)

Steps for Self-Upgrade

Remark:
(1) Please upgrade step by step shown in SOP file. If not following steps, your operating system might not be

upgraded successfully or even be crashed.

(2) If you encounter with any problems during installation, get in touch with ASUS Support Contact shown at

http://support.asus.com/contact/contact.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

1. Under Windows® XP in your Eee Box PC, upgrade BIOS via Asus Update.

2. Install Windows® 7 operating system via DVD purchased by yourself.

Remark: The same language version as your Windows XP operating system is required.

3. Install required driver step by step as below:

1) Chipset Intel 945: Run Setup.exe

2) VGA ATI: Run Setup.exe

3) Audio: Run Setup.exe

4) LAN: Run setup.exe

5) Wireless 785H: Run Setup.exe in the folder of “Install_CD”

6) Card Reader: Run setup.exe

7) Bluetooth (if your PC is equipped with Bluetooth) : Run Setup.exe

4. Install utility step by step as below:

1) Install Asus Update: Run Setup.exe

2) Install Eee Manager Suite: Run setup.exe
