Requisitos do sistema
Antes de instalar o router sem os da ASUS, certique-se de que o sistema/a rede
satisfaz os seguintes requisitos:
• Porta Ethernet RJ-45 (10Base-T/100Base-TX)
• Pelo menos um dispositivo IEEE 802.11b/g com capacidade para ligação sem os
• Protocolo TCP/IP e browser para a Internet instalado
Antes de prosseguir
Tenha em atenção as directrizes seguintes antes de instalar o router sem os da ASUS:
• O comprimento do cabo Ethernet que liga o dispositivo à rede (hub, modem
ADSL/por cabo, router, wall patch) não deve ter mais de 100 metros.
• Coloque o dispositivo sobre uma superfície plana, estável e o mais afastada
possível do chão.
• Mantenha o dispositivo longe de quaisquer obstáculos metálicos e da luz solar
directa.
• Mantenha o dispositivo afastado de transformadores, motores potentes, luzes
uorescentes, microondas, frigorícos e outros equipamentos industriais de
forma a evitar a perda de sinal.
• Instale o dispositivo numa zona central de maneira a proporcionar uma boa
cobertura da rede para todos os dispositivos móveis sem os.

Opções de montagem
Fora da caixa, o Router Sem Fios DSL-N11 ASUS é concebido para estar numa
superfície plana e elevada, como um arquivo de cheiros ou uma estante de livros.
A unidade também pode ser convertida para montagem numa parede ou tecto.
Para montar o DSL-N11 ASUS:
1. Procure dois ganchos de montagem na parte
inferior.
2. Marque dois orifícios superiores numa parede
ou numa superfície plana e elevada.
3. Aperte dois parafusos até que apenas esteja
visível 1/4".
4. Prenda os ganchos do DSL-G31 ASUS aos
parafusos.
Nota: Reajuste os parafusos se não conseguir prender o Router Sem Fios ASUS aos parafusos
ou se estiver muito solto.

Instalação do router sem os
O router sem os da ASUS pode ser utilizado em vários cenários com a devida
conguração. Pode ser necessário alterar as predenições do seu router sem os
de forma a satisfazer os requisitos do seu ambiente de trabalho sem os.
Nota: Recomendamos-lhe que utilize uma ligação com os para a conguração inicial de forma a
evitar possíveis problemas devido à instabilidade da ligação sem os.
Conguração de uma ligação com os
A embalagem do Router Sem Fios ASUS contém um cabo RJ11, um cabo de
LAN RJ45 e um derivador. Uma vez que o router sem os integra uma função de
cruzamento automático, isto permite-lhe utilizar quer um cabo simples quer um cabo
cruzado para a ligação com os.
Para congurar a ligação com os:
1. Insira o conector de linha do derivador na tomada do telefone e ligue o seu
telefone à porta de telefone (A).
2. Ligue a porta ADSL do router sem os à porta do derivador DSL (B).
3. Utilizando o cabo LAN RJ45 fornecido, ligue o seu computador à porta LAN do
router sem os (C).

Para congurar uma ligação sem os:
1. Insira o conector de linha do derivador na tomada do telefone e ligue o seu
telefone à porta de telefone (A).
2. Ligue a porta ADSL do router sem os à porta do derivador DSL (B).
3. Ligue o computador e faça duplo clique no ícone de rede sem os na barra
de tarefas do Windows® para ver as redes disponíveis. Seleccione o seu
router sem os. Por predenição, não está denida nenhuma chave de
segurança para o router sem os. Clique em Connect (Ligar) e a ligação será
estabelecida em segundos.

Para proteger a sua rede contra ataques maliciosos ou acessos não autorizados, clique em
Advanced Setting (Denições avançadas) > Wireless (Sem os) na GUI Web.

Aceder ao router sem os
Congurar um endereço IP para um cliente cablado
ou sem os
Para aceder ao Router Sem Fios DSL-G31, é necessário ter as congurações TCP/IP
correctas nos seus clientes cablados ou sem os. Dena os endereços IP dos clientes
a partir da mesma sub-rede do DSL-G31.
Por predenição, o router sem os da ASUS integra funções de servidor DHCP o qual
atribui automaticamente endereços IP aos clientes da rede.
No entanto, nalguns casos o utilizador pode querer atribuir endereços IP xos a
determinados clientes ou computadores da rede em vez de os obter automaticamente
a partir do router sem os.
Siga as instruções que correspondem ao sistema operativo instalado no seu cliente ou
computador.
Nota: Se quiser atribuir manualmente um endereço IP ao cliente, recomendamos-lhe que use
as seguintes denições:
• Endereço IP: 192.168.1.xxx (os xxx podem representar qualquer número entre 2 e 254.
Certique-se de que o endereço IP não está a ser utilizado por outro dispositivo)
• Máscara de sub rede: 255.255.255.0 (igual à do router sem os da ASUS)
• Gateway: 192.168.1.1 (este é o endereço IP do router sem os da ASUS)
• DNS: 192.168.1.1 (router sem os da ASUS), ou atribua um servidor DNS conhecido na sua
rede

Conguração com a interface gráca para a web
A interface gráca para a web do router permite-lhe congurar as seguintes
opções: Network Map (Mapa de rede), EZQoS Bandwidth Management
(Gestão de largura de banda EZQoS) e outras Advanced Setting (Denições
avançadas).
Para fazer a conguração através da interface gráca para a web:
1. Depois de ter estabelecido uma ligação com ou sem os, abra o browser da
web. A página de início de sessão é automaticamente aberta.
Nota: Pode também introduzir manualmente o endereço IP predenido do router (192.168.1.1)
para abrir a interface da web.
2. Na página de início de sessão, introduza o nome de utilizador predenido
(admin) e a senha (admin).

3. Na página principal, clique no menu de navegação ou nas ligações para
congurar as várias funções do router sem os da ASUS.
Utilização da opção Network Map (Mapa de rede)
A opção Network Map (Mapa de rede) permite-lhe ver o estado e congurar as
opções de ligação da Internet, do sistema e dos clientes da sua rede. Permite-lhe
também congurar rapidamente a sua WAN (Wide Area Network) usando a função
QIS (Quick Internet Setup, Conguração rápida da Internet), ou para congurar
rapidamente a sua Rede Local (LAN).
Para ver o estado ou congurar as opções disponíveis, clique em qualquer um
destes ícones da página principal:

Estado da Internet
Clique neste ícone para ver informação sobre o estado da
ligação à Internet, o endereço IP da WAN, o DNS, o tipo
de ligação e o endereço do gateway. No ecrã de estado
da ligação à Internet, use a função QIS (Quick Internet
Setup, Conguração rápida da Internet ) para congurar
rapidamente a sua WAN.
Nota : Para mais informações sobre a função QIS,
consulte a secção Conguração da WAN com a função
QIS (Quick Internet Setup, Conguração rápida da
Internet) na página seguinte.
Estado do sistema
Clique neste ícone para ver informação sobre o SSID, o
método de autenticação, a encriptação WEP, o IP da LAN,
o endereço MAC ou para activar/desactivar a função de
rádio sem os.
Estado do cliente
Clique neste ícone para ver informação acerca dos
clientes ou computadores que integram a rede. Pode
também bloquear/desbloquear um cliente.

Congurar a WAN utilizando a Conguração de
Internet Rápida (QIS)
A função de Conguração Rápida de Internet (QIS) detecta automaticamente

A opção EzQoS Bandwidth Management (Gestão da largura de banda com o
EZQos) permite-lhe denir a prioridade em termos da largura de banda e gerir o
tráfego na rede.
Para congurar a prioridade da largura de banda:
1. Clique em EzQoS Bandwidth Management (Gestão da largura de banda
com o EZQos) no menu de navegação visível no lado esquerdo do ecrã.
