Laboratory Test Report
ANSI S3.19-1974 Testing-Model IS1200 Earmuffs
1.0 Test Articles - Ten Model IS1200 Earmuffs Hearing Protectors.
2.0 Applicable Specifications - ANSI S3.19-1974 (R1990).
3.0 Test Results - The results of the hearing protector acoustical test and the Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) calculations are presented in Table 3.1 and show that the NRR rating is 21. The measured data for each cup of each earmuff is listed in Table 3.2. The average headband force, with an earpiece separation distance of 14.40cm was 10.00 ± 0.1 Newtons or 2.3lbs.
In accordance with 40CFR PART 211- Product Noise Labeling, “Spectral uncertainty. Possible variation in exposure to the noise spectra in the workplace. ( To avoid the under protection that would result from these variations relative to the assumed: “Pink Noise” used to determine the NRR, an extra three decibel reduction is included when computing the NRR)” The NRR rating is accordance with 40CFR211 the NRR rating of the Model IS1200 Earmuffs is given in Table3.1.

ELECTRONIC SAFETY EARMUFFS
The 7760 Electronic Earmuffs provides excellent protection in work areas where decibel levels exceed that which is safe. This hearing protection device complies with the requirements of the European Directive 89/686/CEE annex II by means of the European Standard EN352-1: 1993 Hearing protector - Safety requirements and testing - Part 1: Earmuff:

3) The ear cushion should be a snug fit against the head.
4) Adjust to the correct pressure on the head to ensure an effective noise seal. It is recommended that the user applies earmuffs before exposure and wear them for the duration of time in areas with
unsafe decibel levels.
NOTE: This earmuff is of “normal size range” complying with EN 352-1. It will fit a wide range of users
CLEANING:
Use warm soapy water only. It is recommended to disinfect the earmuff every 3 months, according to use.
