IMPORTANT TIPS
• Please insert the batteries rst in the transmitter
• Obstructions can substantially constrain the coverage of the transmitter
• Protect the transmitter from direct sunlight
• The weather forecast function is operational 12 hours after inserting the batteries

the devices. Place the batteries in the battery compartment. Observe the shown polarity. Close the battery compartment.
• The meteorological station is now connecting to the trans­mitter. This process takes about 3 minutes. The display shows the message at the «OUTDOOR».
• Press [TX] if the transmitter is not registered after 3 minutes.
• Once the meteorological station is connected to the trans­mitter, the automatic receiving of the DCF radio signal begins. (In case of this occuring at the area no signal,
pls quit the receiption by holding the “–” for more than 3 seconds,then follow the manually set-up ,and ignore the description for the RC function).
• This process takes about 7 minutes. The ashing symbol “radio tower“ appears in the display area “time“.
• Once radio signal receiving is successful, the display shows the symbol “radio tower“ permanently.
In case the automatic set-up process is unsuccessful, press
the reset button on the rear side of the meteorological station with a pointed object to restart.
If, due to bad reception, no automatic time set-up is pos-
sible, follow the steps below manually.

INITIAL OPERATION
( FOR AREA NO RADIO CONTROLLED SIGNAL, PLS FOLLOW THE BELOW STEPS, THE MOST IMPORTANT IS TO QUIT THE
RECEIPTION OF RADIO CONTROLLED SIGNAL BY HOLDING
THE “–” FOR 3 SENCONDS IN CASE OF THE “RADIO TOWER”
• Press and hold key [MODE] for 3 seconds.
• The display “2000“ is ashing. Use [] and [] to select
the year.
• Press [MODE] to conrm.
• The display for the month is ashing. Use [] and [] to
select the month.
• Press [MODE] to conrm.
• The display for the date is ashing. Use [] and [] to
select the date.
• Press [MODE] to conrm.
• The language selection for the display of the weekdays is
ashing. Use [] and [] to select the language.
• Press [MODE] to conrm.
• The display for the hour is ashing. Use [] and [] to
select the hour.
• Press [MODE] to conrm.
• The display for the minutes is ashing. Use [] and []
to select the minutes.
• Press [MODE]
• The display for the time zone is ashing. Use [] und []
to select the time zone (-12 to +12).
MANUAL TIME SET-UP

INFORMATION:
• The clock automatically changes from set-up mode to time
mode if no keys are pressed for 8 seconds.
• The weekday display is available in 7 languages, i.e. Ger-
man, English, French, Danish, Dutch, Italian and Spanish.
• Explanation for the time zone display:
You can manually adjust the clock to the time zone of a country (up to 1500km distance to Frankfurt/Main) where the clock receives the DCF signal but where the actual time differs from the time received. If, e.g. the time in a given country is 1 hour ahead of the German time, set the time zone display to 01. The clock is now DCF controlled but the time is one hour ahead.
DAILY ALARM SET-UP
Press and hold the key [ALARM] for 3 seconds until the
alarm time and the ashing symbol are shown.

DAILY ALARM ON/OFF
Press the key [ALARM] to set the daily alarm on or off. If no symbol is shown, the alarm function is deactivated.
INFORMATION:
• The clock automatically changes from set-up mode to time mode if no keys are pressed for 8 seconds.
• The alarm sounds for 2 minutes if no key is pressed to stop it. If the alarm is not stopped it will repeat after 24 hours.
SNOOZE FUNCTION
To activate the snooze function, follow the steps below
• Press the key [SNOOZE/LIGHT], while the alarm sounds, to activate the snooze function.
• If the snooze function is activated, the symbol “zZ” is shown in the display.
• The alarm repeat after 5 minutes.
• The snooze function can be stopped by pressing any key.
TEMPERATURE ALERT SET-UP
• Press and hold the key [ALERT] for 3 seconds until the temperature alert symbol is ashing.
• Press [CHANNEL] to select the channel (CH1, CH2, CH3) if more than one transmitter is within reach.
• The symbol for the upper limit of the temperature alert is ashing.
• Use [] and [] to select the maximum temperature.

• Press [ALERT] to conrm.
• The symbol for the lower limit of the temperature alert is
ashing. Use [] and [] to select the minimum tem- perature.
• Press [ALERT] to confirm and complete the temperature alert set-up.
TEMPERATURE ALERT ON/OFF
Press the key [ALERT] to set the temperature alert for all
transmitter channels on or off.
• Alert on: Temperature alert symbol shown in display
• Alert off: Temperature alert symbol goes out.
INFORMATION
• A temperature alert can be set-up for each channel.
• The set-up process cannot be completed if the maximum
temperature selected is lower than the minimum selected temperature.
• The minimum temperature selected must at least be 1°C
below the maximum selected temperature.
• The respective channel and the maximum, respectively the
minimum limit symbols are shown when the temperature alert sounds.
12/24 HOURS MODE
The time display can be in 12 or 24 hours mode. Press the
key [] to switch between the modes.
°C/°F TEMPERATURE DISPLAY
The temperature display can be in °C or °F. Press the key
[-] to switch between the modes.
TEMPERATURE TREND DISPLAY
The meteorological station measures the current tem­perature once batteries are inserted. The temperature trend display shows a neutral trend (horizontal arrow).
• The subsequent trend of the temperature trend display
is as follows:
• If, after one hour, the temperature is more than 1 °C higher
than the initial value, a positive trend is shown (upward
arrow)
• If, after one hour, the temperature is more than 1 °C lower
than the initial value, a negative trend is shown (downward
arrow)
• If, within one hour, the temperature remains constant, the
upward arrow, respectively the downward arrow changes to
a horizontal arrow. The measured temperature serves now
as a neutral value and basis for future forecasts.
WEATHER FORECAST
This function allows a weather forecast for the next 12 to
24 hours.
Please note that during the rst 12 hours after inserting batteries, the weather forecast will not be accurate. After a re-start, the weather station needs time to adjust to the conditions.
The station displays 4 different symbols to forecast the weather.

REMARKS as the weather is forecasted only by data of
temperature and humidity, no barometer.
• The display will have discrepancy with the actual weather sometime.
MOON PHASE DISPLAY
The weather station uses saved data to show the moon
phase

BATTERY CONDITION DISPLAY
The weather station displays the battery condition symbol to show whether the batteries of the weather station or the transmitter need to be exchanged.

• Transmitter battery condition display: in the outer area of
the display.
WIRELESS CONNECTION
TO THE TRANSMITTER
• Press the key [CHANNEL] to select a channel. You can read the data of up to 3 transmitters at one weather station.
• Press and hold the key [CHANNEL] for 3 seconds to search for transmitters. You can exit this process by pressing the key [CHANNEL].

The weather station uses saved data to determine the hu-
