Safety instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
Connect the appliance only to correctly installed mains power sockets ►
supplying a mains voltage of 220 - 240 V ~ / 50 Hz.
In the event of operating malfunctions and before cleaning the appliance, ►
disconnect the plug from the mains power socket.
To disconnect, always pull the plug itself from the mains power socket, do ►
not pull on the power cable.

Do not kink or crimp the power cable and place it in such a way as to
prevent anyone from stepping on or tripping over it.
To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power cables to be ►
replaced at once by qualifi ed technicians or our Customer Service
Department.

Ensure that the power cable cannot become wet or damp while the appliance is in operation. Place it such that it cannot be squashed or damaged.
Should the appliance, the power cable or the plug become damaged,

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
Never leave a heat-generating device unattended! After use or during work ►
pauses, ALWAYS remove the plug from the mains power socket. The appliance heats up and generates steam pressure continuously when the plug is
connected to a mains power socket!

Use the appliance only with dry hands and never without shoes (i.e. not
barefoot). This will help reduce the eff ect of an electric shock in the event of
a malfunction.
NEVER aim the appliance at moisture-sensitive objects. ►

NEVER remove the water tank if steam is still exiting the steam nozzle!
Do not operate the appliance with an empty water tank. When the water ►
reserve is used up, disconnect the power cable to prevent the appliance
from overheating.

The accessories will get hot during use! There is a risk of being burnt!
Allow the used accessories to cool down before removing them.. ►
Use only the original accessory items for this appliance. Other accessories ►
may not meet the safety requirements.

WARNING - PROPERTY DAMAGE!
First carry out a test on an unobtrusive area to be certain that the material ►
is suitable for cleaning with high pressure steam, for instance:
Painted wood or leather can be bleached by steam. –
Unprotected wood can swell up. –
Protective wax coatings can be dissolved by steam. –
Plastics can become tarnished from the eff ects of steam. –
Soft plastics can deform when exposed to steam. –
Cold glass or mirror surfaces can crack on encountering hot steam. –
If you wish to clean windows, you must fi rst preheat them, for instance by ►
applying the steam over large areas from a greater distance, then moving
in progressively closer.
Acrylics, velvet and silk react sensitively to hot steam, as do plastic fi bres. ►

Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging
materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness
and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.
The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material and
reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that is
no longer needed as per the regionally established regulations.
NOTICE
If possible preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty ►
period so that in the case of a warranty claim you can package the appliance properly for return.

Assembling the squeegee
Open the large screw on the retainer of the squeegee 1) 6, such that you can
push in the metal rail with the rubber lip.
Thereby ensure that the broad side of the metal rail is at the top.2)
Retighten the large screw.3)
Using the appliance
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
To ensure faultfree operation and a long service life for the
appliance, pay heed to the following instructions:
First press the steam lever
►1 when the green control lamp 8 glows. If you
press too early it may cause an accumulation of hot water in the appliance,
which will drip or spray from the nozzle. There is a risk of being scalded.
Before switching the appliance off , always allow all of the steam to drain ►
out by pressing the steam lever 1 until no more steam exits from the nozzle.
Filling/refi lling with water

water to the water tank 3!

Turn the water tank 1) 3 such that the marking on the water tank points to the
open lock

Do not put any additives or cleaning agents in the water tank ►3!
Fill the water tank 3) 3 with water. Ensure that you never fi ll the tank with
more water than up to the MAX marking, and never less than up to the
MIN marking.
Should the mains water at your locality be rated as hard, it is recommended that
you mix the mains water with distilled water. Otherwise, the appliance could
calcify prematurely and clog the steam nozzle q.
