IMMEDIATELYINSPECT FORSHIPPINGDAMAGE
All containers should be examined for damage before and during unloading. The freight carrier has
assumed responsibility for its safe transit and delivery. If equipment is received damaged, either apparent
or concealed, aclaim mustbe madewith the deliveringcarrier.
A) Apparent damage or loss must be noted on the freight bill at the time of delivery. It must then be signed
by the carrier representative (Driver). If this is not done, the carrier may refuse the claim. The carrier can
supplythe necessaryforms.
B) Concealed damageor lossif notapparent until afterequipment isuncrated, a request for inspectionmust
be made to the carrier within 15 days. The carrier should arrange an inspection. Be certain to hold all
contentsand packagingmaterial.

CLEANING
Before this pump is used for the first time, clean the pump thoroughly with a non-chlorine based sanitizing
solution which meets local and/or national health codes. Clean by running a brush through the spout and
tubeto removeany dirtor manufacturingmaterial.
The pump should be cleaned daily according to the instructions below.

1. Holdingthe pumpupright, unscrewthe base of the cupand removethe cupand tierod.
2. Removethe tierod nutand thecheck valve.
3. Whileholding thepiston assembly,turn theupper springcage counterclockwise andremove it.
4. Removethe lowerspring cageand spring.
5. Removethe pistonassembly.
6. Wash all pump parts thoroughly in a sanitizing solution using the brushes provided; rinse in hot
waterand allowthe pumpto airdry.
7. Reassembleusing reverseprocedure.
CAUTION:

INSTALLATION
1. Clean the pump thoroughly in a sanitizing solution, using the brushes provided. Rinse in hot water
andallow toair dry.
2. Select a disk from the condiment card to identify the product to be dispensed. If the
condiment you are serving does not appear on the disks, turn the disk over and mark the name on
theback.
3. Unscrewthe leverknob fromthe leverand place thedisk underthe clearinsert.
4. Replacethe leverknob. The pumpand lidmay nowbe placedin acontainer.
NOTE:
OPERATION
To operatethe pump, press the leverknob until it stops, and then release it.A brisk, smooth stroke delivers
thecondiment uniformly.
ADJUSTMENT
Adjustthe pumpto deliverthe amountof condiment yourequire. Thecup capacity is5 ounces.
1. Removethe leverscrew andfold thelever back outof theway.
2. Turnthe upper spring cage clockwisefor a smaller portion of condimentand counterclockwise for a
largerportion.
3. Turnthe upper springcage sothat thelever fitsdowninto theslot.
4. Replacethe leverand leverscrew.
