The JR 2000 is designed for counter top operation. It consist s o f a top and bottom warming shelf. Each
shelf has it s own infinite control to regulate operating temperature.

LOCA TION OF DA T A PLA TE
The dat a plate for the unit is located on the operator side of the unit.
IMMEDIA TEL Y INSPECT FOR SHIPPING DAMAGE
All cont ainers should be examined for damage before and during unloading. The freight carrier has
assumed responsibility for it s safe transit and delivery . I f equipment is received damaged, either app arent
or concealed, a claim must be made with the delivering carrier .
A) App arent damage or loss must be noted on the freight bill at the time of delivery . I t must then be signed
by the carrier represent ative (Driver). If this is not done, the carrier may refuse the claim. The carrier can
supply the necessary forms.
B) Concealed damage or loss if not app arent until af ter equipment is uncrated, a request for inspection
must be made to the carrier within 15 days. The carrier should arrange an inspection. Be cert ain to hold all
content s and p ackaging material.
Inst allation and st art-up should be performed by a qualified inst aller who thoroughly read, underst ands and
follows these instructions.

ST AINLESS STEEL: T o remove normal dirt or product residue from st ainless steel, use ordinary soap and
water (with or without detergent) applied with a sponge or cloth. Dry thoroughly with a clean cloth. Never use
vinegar or corrosive cleaner . D o not use chorine based cleaners.
T o remove grease and food splatter or condensed vapors that have baked on the equipment, apply cleaners
to a damp cloth or sponge and rub cleanser on the met al in the direction of the polished lines on the met al.
Rubbing cleanser as gently as possible in the direction of the polished lines will not mar the finish of the
st ainless steel. NEVER RUB WITH A CIRCULAR MOTION. Soil and burnt deposit s which do not respond to
the above procedure can usually be removed by rubbing the surface with SCOTCH-BRITE scouring p ads
or ST AINLESS scouring p ads.

If the unit fails to operate check the following:
1. Is the unit connected to a live power source?
2. Check circuit breaker?
3. Is power switch on and pilot light glowing?
4. Check the dat a plate. Are you operating the unit on proper volt age?
If the above checks out and you still have problems, call an APW WYOTT authorized service agency .

Clean the unit before using. Wipe unit with a hot, wet cloth to remove any shipping dust or protective oil.
1. All food service equipment should be operated by trained personnel.
2. Never hold food below 150°F or above 40°F .

INSTALLATION
The JR 2000 has been inspected and tested at the factory prior to shipment.
Unp ack the JR 2000 and remove all p acking materials. Place it on a flat horizont al surface at the desired
location.
NOTE:
appliances, the fuse will burn out or the circuit breaker will trip, or a reduction in performance will be
experienced.
At 120 volt s, this unit draws 1 1 amperes. If connected to a circuit loaded down with too many other
These unit s have been provided with the appropriate cord and plug set. Do not attempt to defeat it s
purpose by substituting a plug of a dif ferent configuration.
OPERATION
1. Switch power to on, note: auxiliary outlet will be energized at this time.
2. Adjust heater 1 ( top heater) t o a s etting of 7-1/2, adjust heater 2 ( bottom heater) t o s etting of 8.
3. Allow 20-30 minutes for unit to come up to temperature. (surface temperature of the shelves
will be between 180°-190° F)

APW WYOTT EQUIPMENT LIMITED WARRANTY
APW W yott Foodservice Equipment Company warrants it 's equipment against defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the
following conditions:
This warranty applies to the original owner only and is not assignable.
Should any product fail to function in its intended manner under normal use within the limits defined in this warranty , a t the option of
APW W yott such product will be repaired or replaced by APW W yott or its Authorized Service Agency . APW W yott will only be
responsible for charges incurred or service performed by its Authorized Service Agencies. The use of other than APW W yott
Authorized Service Agencies will void this warranty and APW W yott will not be responsible for such work or any charges associated
with same. The closest APW W yott Authorized Service Agent must be used.
This warranty covers products shipped into the 48 contiguous United S tates, Hawaii, metropolitan areas of Alaska and Canada. There
will be no labor coverage for equipment located on any island not connected by roadway to the mainland.
W arranty coverage on products used outside the 48 contiguous United S tates, Hawaii, and metropolitan areas of Alaska and Canada
may vary . Contact the international APW W yott distributor, dealer , o r service agency for details.
T ime Period
One year for parts and one year for labor , e f fective from the date of purchase by the original owner . The A uthorized Service Agency
may , a t their option, require proof of purchase. Parts replaced under this warranty are warranted for the un-expired portion of the
original product warranty only .
Exceptions
In all cases, parts covered by extended warranty will be shipped FOB the factory after the first year .
Portable Carry In Pr oducts
Equipment weighing over 70 pounds or permanently installed w ill be serviced on-site as per the terms of this warranty . Equipment
weighing 70 pounds or under , and which is not permanently installed, i.e. with cord and plug, is considered portable and is subject to
the following warranty handling limitations. If portable equipment fails to operate in its intended manner on the first day of
connection, or use, at APW W yott 's option or its Authorized Service Agency , i t will be serviced on site or replaced.
From day two through the conclusion of this warranty period, portable units must be taken to or sent prepaid to the A P W W yott
Authorized Service Agency for in-warranty repairs. No mileage or travel charges are allowed on portable units after the first day of use.
If the customer wants on-site service, they may receive same by paying the travel and mileage charges. Exceptions to this rule: (1)
countertop warmers and cookers, which are covered under the Enhanced W arranty Program, and (2) toasters or rollergrills which have
in store service.
Exclusions
The following conditions are not covered by warranty:
If the equipment has been changed, altered, modified or repaired by other than an Authorized Service Agency during or after the
warranty period, then the manufacturer shall not be liable for any damages to any person or to any property , which may result from the
use of the equipment thereafter .
This warranty does not cover services performed at overtime or premium labor rates. Should service be required at times which
normally involve overtime or premium labor rates, the owner shall be charged for the dif ference between normal service rates and such
premium rates. APW W yott does not assume any liability for extended delays in replacing or repairing any items beyond its control.
In all cases, the use of other than APW W yott Authorized OEM Replacement Parts will void this warranty .
T his equipment is intended for commercial use only . W arranty is void if equipment is installed in other than commercial application.
W ater Quality Requir ements
W ater supply intended for a unit that has in excess of 3.0 grains of hardness per gallon (GPG) must be treated or softened before
being used. W ater containing over 3.0 GPG will decrease the ef ficiency and reduce the operation life of the unit.
Note: Pr oduct failur e caused by liming or sediment buildup is not cover ed under warranty .
THE FOREGOING W ARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER W ARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED
INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED W ARRANTY OF MERCHANT ABILITY OR FITNESS FOR P A R TICULAR PURPOSES
AND CONSTITUTES THE ENTIRE LIABILITY OF APW WYOTT . I N N O EVENT DOES THE LIMITED W ARRANTY
EXTEND BEYOND THE TERMS ST A TED HEREIN.
