PRODUCT DESCRIPTION FUNCTIONS

As a result of the introduction of quality management systems
such as ISO-9000, HACCP, etc. as well as increased focus on
hygiene, environment, and security, demands to minimizing
risks and errors have grown. To meet these demands you
need reliable and efficient measuring equipment.

AMETEK has composed a number of complete solutions for
pressure measurement (EPM-2000 series) and for tempera­ture measurement (ETM-2000 series). Each system is a com­plete kit that is delivered in a practical, lightweight carrying
case, making it easy to carry around to the various measuring
sites. The configuration eliminates the chance of forgetting a
pressure source, fittings, or the operating manual.

With 3 different pressure systems the EPM-2000 series (Easy
Pressure Measurement) covers a broad variety of applica­tions within pressure measurement. You may measure the
pressure on your compressor, pneumatic operations, the baro­metric pressure in energy calculations, level of liquid, water
pressure, differential pressure on flow measurements, pres­sure control valves, digestion tanks and many others.

With the AMETEK EPM-2000 series you can check the pres­sure with ease. All systems are supplied with a small air pump
with fine adjustment and vent valve. Hose and fittings are
included enabling you to setup a test/calibration system.

Backlight: The display light is on as long as
the key is activated.

Display hold: Freezes the reading - used when
watching the instrument under test is more important
than watching the indicator.

Max/Min: Stores maximum and minimum pressures.
Suitable for e.g. surveillance of safety valves or level of
liquid.

Range lock: The instrument changes to a higher
resolution at low pressures. The "RANGE LOCK" key
allows you to switch off this feature.

Smoothing: Allows easy measurements on unstable
pressures.

Engineering units: Choose between the built-in
pressure units.

Zeroing: Zeroes the instrument in the reading. Should
be used at every new measurement.

Auto switch-off: Auto switch-off after 12 minutes.
Extends battery life (auto switch-off does not operate
in max/min mode. (The user can also turn off this feature
if not required).
