HALOGEN LAMP WARNING!
This fixture is fitted with halogen lamps
which are highly susceptible to damage if improperly handled. Never
touch lamp with bare fingers as the
oil from your hands will shorten lamp
life. Also, never move fixture until
lamp has had ample time to cool.
Remember, lamps are not covered
under warranty conditions.
Thank you for purchasing the Raven™ by American DJ®. For your convenience the Raven™ has been lamped and is ready
to be used. The Raven™ is ready to be hung or set on a flat surface, there is no assembly necessary. The Raven™ comes
with a detachable 4-mirrored prism. This prism crates a four (4) pattern reflection of the gobo. This fixture projects in split color
combinations. Please read the following instructions before installing or operating your new Raven™.
Operating Instructions:
This unit comes with a 3-way operating switch located on the front of the unit. The switch controls three (3) different
operating modes; Static, Sound Active, and Continuous Rotation. When the switch is in the "I" position the unit will react
to the beat of music via its internal microphone. When the unit is in the "0" position the fixture will act as a static gobo
projector, the gobo will not rotate nor will the colors change. When the switch is in the "II" position the unit's gobo and color
wheels will rotate in a continuous pattern not reacting to a sound source.
Caution! Never open this unit when in use. Always disconnect main power before replacing the lamps and fuse. Remember
to always replace with the exact same type lamp and fuse, unless otherwise specified by an authorized American DJ
service technician. Be sure not to obstruct the cooling vents. Keep in a well ventilated area. For best results fog or special
effects smoke must be used in order to see the beams of light.
Lamp Replacement: Disconnect the units main power. Remove the thumb screws on the top of the unit. Carefully remove
and replace lamps. Be sure to follow the handling instructions that are included with your new lamps. Replace the cover
and reconnect the main power.
