Air is a Bluetooth-enabled speaker that’s designed to go where you go
and receive streaming audio from your computer or any Bluetooth-enabled
portable audio device. No cables. No docks. No complications. Just true

using the inMotion Air speaker.

Getting Started

Place your inMotion Air speaker on a desk, bookshelf, counter, or
other hard surface. To maximize the wireless range of the speaker, we
recommend you place the speaker (and the USB transmitter, when pairing
with a computer) at least 1 meter (3 feet) above ground level.

How to Install the AC Adapter

1 Make sure the shipping and long-

term storage switch is in the “ON”
position.

2 Connect the AC adapter cable plug

into the speaker’s jack.

The jack is located on the back of the
inMotion Air speaker.

3 Plug the AC adapter into a wall

outlet.

WARNING Use of an AC adapter other than the one supplied with your

inMotion Air speaker may damage the product. Use only the supplied AC
adapter.

How to Charge the Lithium-Ion Battery

Your inMotion Air speaker includes a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. This
battery should be fully charged before initial use of the speaker.

1 Make sure the shipping and long-term storage switch is in the

“ON” position.

2 Connect the speaker to a wall outlet.

See the How to Install the AC Adapter section. When the speaker is
powered on, the “POWER” LED will turn green. When the speaker

is off, there is no visual indication that the battery is charging, but it
will continue charging until fully charged, as long as the speaker is
connected to a wall outlet.

3 Allow the battery to charge for a few hours.

WARNING During the recharging process, it is typical for the battery

to become warm. To be safe, keep flammable materials away from
thespeaker.

WARNING To maintain optimal battery performance, (1) fully charge the

battery before initial use, (2) make sure the battery is fully charged and
the shipping and long-term storage switch is in the “OFF” position before
storage, and (3) recharge the battery at least once a month.

A full battery charge will provide up to 6 hours of continuous playing time.
The “POWER” LED indicates the battery charge level:

• Green: Good

• Amber: Low

• Blinking amber: Very low

When the “POWER” LED begins blinking amber, you should recharge the
battery, as the speaker is about to automatically shut down.

How to Connect the Full-featured Remote Battery

The remote battery (included) is installed at the
factory. However, there is a piece of plastic film
inserted between the battery and the remote’s
contacts to prevent the battery from draining
during shipping.

1 Pull the plastic film out of the remote.

How to Replace the Full-Featured Remote Battery

1 Pull the battery holder out about

halfway.

The battery holder is located on the
lower end of the back of the remote.
Use a fingernail to pull the latch toward
the centerline of remote while using
another fingernail to simultaneously pull
the battery holder out of the remote.

2 Remove the used battery and replace it with an identical

battery.

3 Push the battery holder back into the remote, making sure the

battery stays in place.

You will hear and feel the latch click.

NOTE Please discard used batteries properly.

Getting Started

How to Turn On Your Speaker

1 Make sure you have power to the unit.

Ensure the AC adapter is connected to the system and plugged into
the wall, or that the rechargeable battery is fully charged. See the
Getting Started and How to Charge the Lithium-Ion Battery sections
for more information.

2 Turn the unit on.

How to Listen to Music from Your Computer

1 Turn on your computer.
2 Plug the Bluetooth USB wireless

transmitter into your computer.

USB port on your computer containing
music files and raise its antenna.

NOTE No computer driver software is

needed for the USB transmitter. Computers perceive the USB transmitter
as a standard USB audio device.

3 Turn on the inMotion Air speaker.
4 Pairing of the inMotion Air speaker and the USB wireless

transmitter is automatic.

The speaker and transmitter’s pairing mode should automatically
activate as soon as you turn the speaker on and plug the transmitter
into the USB port for the first time. If you need to re-initiate the pairing
mode, follow these instructions:

Press and hold the “SOURCE/PAIR” button on the speaker until the
“B/T STATUS” LED begins to alternate red and blue.

Press and hold the “PAIR” button on the transmitter until the LED
begins to alternate red and blue. Once both the speaker and the
transmitter are in pairing mode, they should pair automatically.

5 Launch your music application software.

Launch your music application on your computer by pushing the
“LAUNCH” button on the remote or accessing the program directly
on your desktop.

NOTE The USB wireless transmitter must be plugged into the computer

before you launch your music player application (e.g. iTunes, Windows
Media Player and more), an Internet browser to access Pandora or any
other music application. If the transmitter is inserted while the music player
application is running, music will not play until the application is closed and
then re-opened.

NOTE When streaming music from the transmitter, it is recommended

that the computer’s operating system’s mixer volume and music player
application both be set at maximum. For more detailed instructions on
how to adjust the volume settings on your operating system, visit us at

NOTE The “LAUNCH” button will launch your system’s default media player.

6 Make sure your computer is within range of the inMotion Air

speaker.

The USB wireless transmitter has an open-air range of up to
100meters (333 feet), allowing you to stream music from computers
located virtually anywhere in the house.

Once paired, the “B/T SOURCE” LED will light amber and the
“B/TSTATUS” LED will slowly blink blue. On the transmitter, the
LEDwill slowly blink blue as well.

NOTE The inMotion Air speaker can also be connected directly to a

Bluetooth-enabled laptop or netbook. For more detailed instructions on
pairing, visit us at www.alteclansing.com.

NOTE Actual range will vary depending on your home layout, wall location,

construction materials, and the presence of other radio frequency (RF)
devices.

NOTE To pair a second inMotion Air speaker (not included) to the same

transmitter, follow the pairing instructions in step 4. You can now enjoy your
wireless music in multiple rooms simultaneously.

7 Find your desired song.
8 Start your music playing.
9 Adjust the volume.

TIP You can use a remote app on your mobile device (such as the Apple

Remote app for iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad available on iTunes) or the
media player on your computer to control playback.

How to Simultaneously Stream Music

to Your inMotion Air Speaker and a

Second Set of Non-wireless Speakers

In addition to streaming music to your inMotion Air speaker in a different
room, you may enjoy music in the same room as your computer using
another set of non-wireless speakers.

1 Follow steps 1 – 6 in the “How to Listen to Music from Your

Computer” section

2 Locate a different set of speakers.
3 Locate a 3.5mm stereo cable (not included).
4 Plug one end of the stereo cable into your second set of

speakers.

5 Plug the other end of the stereo cable into the Headphones/

Line Out jack on the USB wireless transmitter.

6 Find your desired song.
7 Start your music playing.
8 Adjust the volume.

How to Listen to Your Bluetooth­Enabled Music Player

How to Listen to Your Non-Bluetooth­Enabled Portable Audio Device

1 Turn on your speaker.
2 Put the speaker in pairing mode.

Press and hold the “SOURCE/PAIR”
button until the “B/TSTATUS” LED
begins to alternate red and blue.

3 Put your portable audio device in Bluetooth pairing mode.

See your device’s user manual for specific instructions. Your device
will search for the inMotion Air speaker. If you are asked for a passkey,
enter 0000.

4 Make sure your portable audio device is within range of the

inMotion Air speaker.

Most Bluetooth-enabled phones and music players have a range of
approximately 10 meters (33 feet). Your portable audio device should
be within this range of the speaker.

Once paired, the “B/TSOURCE” LED will blink amber and the
“B/TSTATUS” LED will slowly blink blue.

5 Start your portable audio device playing.
6 Adjust the volume.
7 Find your desired song.

If your portable audio device isn’t Bluetooth-equipped, you can enjoy it
through your inMotion Air speaker as well. Just connect it via the AUX jack.
Here’s how:

1 Locate a 3.5mm stereo cable (not

included).

2 Plug one end of the stereo cable

into your portable audio device.

Your portable audio device should have
either a headphone or LINE OUT jack
for you to plug into.

3 Plug the other end of the stereo

cable into your speaker’s AUX jack.

The AUX jack is located on the back of the speaker.

4 Turn on your speaker.
5 Select “AUX” mode.

Press the “SOURCE/PAIR” button on your speaker or the “SOURCE”
button on the remote until the “AUX” LED lights up (amber).

6 Turn on your portable audio device and start the music playing.
7 Adjust the volume.

NOTE You may need to adjust the portable audio device volume also. Your

portable audio device’s volume should be set to approximately ¾ volume.

8 Find your desired song.

The speaker and remote are capable of controlling playback on your
Bluetooth-enabled portable audio device as well as your computer when
the USB wireless transmitter is attached to it.

Alternately, you can use a remote app on your mobile device (such as the
Apple Remote app for iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad available on iTunes) or
the media player on your computer to control playback.

Automatic Shutdown

To help conserve power, your inMotion Air speaker will automatically
shut down if it doesn’t detect an audio signal from either the wireless or
AUXinput.

Battery-only power: 4 minutes
AC adapter power: 10 minutes

To turn the speaker back on, press the button on either the speaker or
the remote until the speaker turns on.

How to Maintain Your Speaker

Place the inMotion Air speaker on a level surface away from sources of
direct sunlight or excessive heat.

Protect your furniture with a piece of cloth or other protective material when
placing your inMotion Air speaker on a natural wood or lacquered finish.

Clean your inMotion Air speaker with a soft cloth moistened only with mild
soap and water. Stronger cleaning agents, such as benzene, thinner or
similar materials, can damage the surface of the unit.

What Does the Warranty Cover?

Altec Lansing warrants that its products shall be free from defects in materials or
workmanship, with the exceptions stated below.

What Is the Period of Coverage?

For units purchased in European Union, this warranty runs for two years from the date
of purchase. For units not purchased in Europe, this warranty runs for one year from
the date of purchase. The term of any warranties implied by law shall expire when your
limited warranty expires. Some states and/or Member States in the European Union do
not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may
not apply to you.

What Does the Warranty Not Cover?

This warranty does not cover any defect, malfunction or failure that occurs as a result
of: improper installation; misuse or failure to follow the product directions; abuse; or use
with improper, unintended orfaulty equipment. (For information on proper installation,
operation and use consult the manual suppliedwith the product. If you require a
replacement manual, you may download a manual from www.alteclansing.com.) Also,
consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty. Some
states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages,

What Will Altec Lansing Do to Correct the Problem?

Altec Lansing will, at its option, repair or replace any product that proves to be defective
in material or workmanship. If your product is no longer being manufactured, or is out of
stock, at its option, Altec Lansing may replace your product with a similar or better Altec
Lansing product.

How to Get Warranty Service

To get a covered product repaired or replaced, you must contact Altec Lansing during
the warranty period by email ([e-mail]). You must include in your
email, your name, address, email address, telephone number, date of purchase and
a complete description of the problem you are experiencing. In the United States, you
may alternatively contact Altec Lansing by telephone at 1-800-ALTEC88 – please be
prepared to provide the same information. If the problem appears to be related to a

defect in material or workmanship, upon proof of purchase Altec Lansing will provide
you a return authorization and instructions for return shipment. Return shipments shall
be at the customer’s expense. You should insure the shipment as appropriate because
you are responsible for the product until it arrives at Altec Lansing.

How Will State Law Affect Your Rights?

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which
vary from state to state. Please note that in the European Union, you as a consumer
might have other legal rights under national legislation of European Union Member
States governing the sale of Altec Lansing’s goods. Those rights are not affected by this
guarantee.

The above limited warranties and remedies are sole warranties and remedies available to
purchaser, if, and to the extent, valid and enforceable under the applicable law.

Placez votre système d’enceinte inMotionAir sur un bureau, une
bibliothèque, un comptoir ou une autre surface plane et solide. Pour faire
le meilleur usage possible de votre enceinte, nous recommandons de
la placer (ainsi que le transmetteur USB lors de l’appariement avec un
ordinateur) à une distance d’un mètre au moins au-dessus du sol.

Comment installer l’adaptateur CA

1 Assurez-vous que l’interrupteur

d’expédition et de stockage à long
terme est en position «ON».

2 Connectez le cordon de

l’adaptateur CA dans la prise jack
d’alimentation de l’enceinte.

Ce jack se trouve à l’arrière de
l’enceinte inMotionAir.

3 Insérez la fiche du cordon de

l’adaptateur CA dans une prise murale.

AVERTISSEMENT L’utilisation d’un adaptateur de tension CA autre

que celui fourni avec votre enceinte inMotionAir risque d’endommager
l’appareil. N’utiliser que l’adaptateur CA fourni.

Comment recharger la pile au lithium-ion

Votre enceinte inMotionAir contient une pile rechargeable au lithium-ion.
Cette pile devrait être pleinement chargée avant l’utilisation initiale de
l’enceinte.

1 Assurez-vous que l’interrupteur d’expédition et de stockage à

long terme est en position «ON».

2 Enfichez la prise du cordon d’alimentation de l’enceinte dans

une prise murale.

Consultez la section Comment installer l’adaptateur CA. Dès que
l’enceinte est sous tension, la LED verte «POWER» s’allume. Lorsque
l’enceinte est éteinte, il n’y a pas d’indication visuelle du chargement
de la pile, mais celui-ci se poursuit jusqu’au rechargement complet
tant que l’enceinte est branchée à une prise murale.

3 Laissez la pile se charger pendant quelques heures.

AVERTISSEMENT Pendant le processus de rechargement, il est normal

que la pile chauffe quelque peu. Pour votre sécurité, gardez tous matériels
inflammables à distance de l’enceinte.

AVERTISSEMENT Afin de maintenir le bon état de la pile, (1) laissez-la

se charger entièrement avant la première utilisation; (2) assurez-vous
que la pile est pleinement chargée et que l’interrupteur d’expédition et de
stockage à long terme est en position «OFF» avant d’entreposer l’appareil
et (3) rechargez la pile une fois par mois au moins.

Une pleine charge confère à l’appareil une autonomie allant jusqu’à 6
heures de fonctionnement ininterrompu. La LED «POWER» indique le
niveau de charge de la pile:

• Vert: Pile chargée

• Ambre: Faible

• Ambre, clignotante: Très faible

Lorsque la LED «POWER» s’allume en couleur ambre et commence à
clignoter , il faut recharger la pile: l’enceinte est prête à se mettre en arrêt
automatique.

Comment installer la pile de la télécommande multifonctions

La pile de la télécommande (incluse) est installée
à l’usine. Toutefois, une pièce de plastique
insérée entre la pile et son contact l’empêche
de perdre sa puissance pendant le transport et
l’entreposage.

1 Retirez le film de plastique de la

télécommande.

1 Sortez à moitié le support de pile

de son compartiment.

Le compartiment de la pile se trouve au
bas du dos de la télécommande. Avec
l’ongle du pouce, tirez le verrou dans
l’axe long de la télécommande, tout en
retirant la pile du compartiment à l’aide
d’un ongle de l’autre main.

2 Retirez l’ancienne pile et remplacez-la par une pile fraîche

identique.

3 Replacez le compartiment de la batterie dans la

télécommande en veillant à laisser la pile à sa place.

Vous entendrez et sentirez un déclic de mise en place.

REMARQUE Veuillez disposer des piles usagées comme il convient.

Comment mettre votre enceinte sous tension

1 Assurez-vous que la tension secteur parvient à l’appareil.

Assurez-vous que le cordon de l’adaptateur CA est branché au
système et à une prise murale ou que la pile rechargeable est
pleinement chargée. Voyez les sections Mise en route et Comment
recharger la pile au lithium-ion pour plus de détails.

2 Allumez l’appareil.

Appuyez sur la touche

2 Branchez le transmetteur USB

REMARQUE Aucun pilote logiciel n’est nécessaire au fonctionnement du

transmetteur USB. Les ordinateurs reconnaissent le transmetteur en tant
que dispositif USB audio standard.

3 Mettez l’enceinte inMotionAir sous tension.
4 L’appariement de l’enceinte inMotionAir et du transmetteur

USB sans fil se fait automatiquement.

Lors de la première utilisation, le mode d’appariement de l’enceinte et
du transmetteur s’active automatiquement, dès la mise sous tension
de l’enceinte et l’enfichage du transmetteur dans le port USB. Si vous
avez à recommencer l’initiation du mode d’appariement, suivez ces
instructions:

Appuyez et maintenez la pression sur la touche «SOURCE/PAIR» sur
l’enceinte jusqu’à ce que la couleur de la LED «B/T STATUS» alterne
entre rouge et bleu.

Appuyez et maintenez la pression sur la touche «PAIR» du
transmetteur jusqu’à ce que la couleur de la LED alterne entre rouge
et bleu. Une fois que l’enceinte et le transmetteur sont en mode
d’appariement, celui-ci devrait s’opérer automatiquement.

5 Lancez votre logiciel d’application audio.

Lancez votre application audio sur l’ordinateur en appuyant sur
la touche «LAUNCH» de la télécommande ou en démarrant le
programme manuellement sur le bureau de votre ordinateur.

REMARQUE Le transmetteur USB sans fil doit être enfiché dans

l’ordinateur avant le lancement de l’application audio (iTunes, Windows
Media Player ou autre), d’un navigateur Internet pour accéder à Pandora ou
d’une autre application musicale. Si le transmetteur est enfiché alors que
l’application audio est en cours d’exécution, le son ne se fera pas entendre
avant la fermeture de cette application et sa réouverture.

REMARQUE Lors de la diffusion de musique par le biais du transmetteur,

il est recommandé de régler le volume, sur la console de mixage du
système d’exploitation de l’ordinateur, comme le niveau sonore de
l’application au maximum. Vous trouverez des instructions plus détaillées
sur le réglage du volume dans la console du système d’exploitation sur
www.alteclansing.com/iMW725.

REMARQUE La touche «LAUNCH» lance le diffuseur de médias par

défaut de votre ordinateur. Vous trouverez des instructions détaillées sur le
changement du choix de diffuseur de médias par défaut dans la console du
système d’exploitation sur www.alteclansing.com/iMW725.

6 Assurez-vous que votre ordinateur se trouve à portée de

l’enceinte inMotionAir.

Le transmetteur USB sans fil a une portée de 100 mètres à l’air libre,
ce qui permet de diffuser la musique en provenance d’ordinateurs
placés pratiquement en tous points d’une maison.

Une fois l’appariement effectué, la LED «B/T SOURCE» s’allume en
couleur ambre et la LED «B/TSTATUS» clignote lentement en bleu.
Sur le transmetteur, la LED clignote lentement en bleu également.

REMARQUE L’enceinte inMotionAir peut aussi être reliée directement

2 Procurez-vous une autre paire d’enceintes.
3 Procurez-vous un câble stéréo 3,5mm (non fourni).
4 Branchez l’une des extrémités du câble à la seconde paire

d’enceintes.

Consultez le manuel d’utilisation de votre dispositif pour les
instructions précises. Votre dispositif se mettra à la recherche de
l’enceinte inMotionAir. Si l’on vous demande un mot de passe,
tapez0000.

4 Assurez-vous que votre dispositif audio portable se trouve à

portée de l’enceinte inMotionAir.

La plupart des téléphones et lecteurs audio munis de fonctionnalités
Bluetooth ont une portée approximative de 10 mètres. Votre dispositif
audio portable devrait se trouver en deçà de cette limite.

Une fois l’appariement effectué, la LED «B/T SOURCE» s’allume en
couleur ambre et la LED «B/TSTATUS» clignote lentement en bleu.

5 Lancez la lecture sur votre dispositif audio portable.
6 Réglez le volume.
7 Recherchez la piste que vous souhaitez entendre.

Comment écouter votre dispositif

Si votre dispositif audio portable n’est pas équipé Bluetooth, vous pouvez
tout de même l’écouter sur votre enceinte inMotionAir. Il suffit de le connecter
au système par l’intermédiaire de la prise «AUX». Voici comment procéder:

1 Procurez-vous un câble stéréo

3,5mm (non fourni).

2 Enfichez l’une des extrémités du

câble dans votre dispositif audio
portable.

Votre dispositif audio portable devrait
comporter une prise casque ou sortie
audio (LINE OUT).

3 Enfichez l’autre extrémité du câble

REMARQUE Vous pourriez être également amené à régler le volume sur

votre dispositif portable. Le volume de ce dispositif audio devrait être réglé
sur ¾ du maximum environ.

Introducción

Coloque el altavoz inMotionAir sobre un escritorio, una repisa, una
encimera de cocina o cualquier otra superficie dura. Para maximizar el
alcance inalámbrico del altavoz, recomendamos que coloque el altavoz
(y el transmisor USB, cuando se empareje con un ordenador) por lo menos
a 1 metro (3 pies) de distancia del nivel del suelo.

3 Espere mientras se carga la batería durante algunas horas.

Cuando el LED de “POWER” (Encendido) comienza a parpadear en color
ámbar, debe recargar la pila, ya que el altavoz está a punto de apagarse

longo prazo está na posição “ON”.

• Âmbar piscando: Muito baixo

Quando o LED “POWER” começar a piscar em âmbar, você deve

Guida introduttiva

Posizionare l’altoparlante su una scrivania, uno scaffale, un bancone
o qualsiasi altra superficie rigida. Per aumentare la portata del segnale
wireless, si consiglia di posizionarle l’altoparlante (e il trasmettitore USB, se
associato al PC) ad almeno 1 metro di altezza da terra.

Installazione dell’adattatore CA

1 Assicurarsi che l’interruttore

“trasporto e conservazione” sia in
posizione “ON”.

2 Collegare la spina dell’adattatore

Ricarica della batteria agli ioni di litio

L’altoparlante inMotionAir è dotato di una batteria ricaricabile integrata
agli ioni di litio. La batteria deve essere ricaricata completamente prima di
utilizzare l’altoparlante per la prima volta.

1 Assicurarsi che l’interruttore “trasporto e conservazione” sia

in posizione “ON”.

2 Collegare l’altoparlante ad una presa a muro.

Vedere la sezione Installazione dell’adattatore CA. Quando l’altoparlante
è acceso, il LED di accensione diventa verde. Quando l’altoparlante è

spento, la batteria continua a ricaricarsi fino a quando l’altoparlante è
collegato alla presa a muro, anche se non vi sono LED accesi.

3 Far ricaricare la batteria per alcune ore.

AVVERTENZA Durante la fase di ricarica la batteria tende a riscaldarsi. Per

sicurezza, tenere a distanza eventuali materiali infiammabili.

AVVERTENZA Per garantire prestazioni ottimali della batteria: (1) Ricaricare

completamente la batteria prima di utilizzarla per la prima volta. (2)
Assicurarsi che l’interruttore “trasporto e conservazione” sia in posizione
“OFF” prima di conservare l’altoparlante. (3) Ricaricare la batteria almeno
una volta al mese.

Una ricarica completa della batteria consente fino a 6 ore di riproduzione
continua. Il LED di accensione indica il livello di carica della batteria:

• Verde: Buono

• Ambra: Basso

• Ambra lampeggiante: Molto basso

Quando il LED di accensione diventa color ambra e lampeggia è
necessario ricaricare la batteria, se non si vuole che l’interruttore si spenga
automaticamente.

Collegamento della batteria del telecomando

La batteria del telecomando (inclusa) viene
installata in fabbrica. Tuttavia, è presente una
pellicola di plastica tra la batteria e i contatti
del telecomando, per impedire alla batteria di
scaricarsi durante il trasporto.

1 Tirare la pellicola di plastica dal

Sostituzione della batteria del telecomando

1 Tirare il vano batterie a metà.

inferiore sul retro del telecomando.

4 L’associazione tra l’altoparlante inMotionAir e il trasmettitore

USB wireless è automatica.

La modalità di associazione tra l’altoparlante e il trasmettitore si attiva
automaticamente non appena si accende l’altoparlante e si collega
il trasmettitore alla porta USB per la prima volta. Se è necessario
inizializzare nuovamente la modalità di associazione, attenersi alle
seguenti istruzioni:

Tenere premuto il pulsante “SORGENTE/ASSOCIA” sull’altoparlante
fino a quando il LED “STATO BLUETOOTH” inizia a lampeggiare
alternativamente in rosso e blu.

Tenere premuto il pulsante “ASSOCIA” sul trasmettitore fino a quando
il LED inizia a lampeggiare alternativamente in rosso e blu. Quando
sia l’altoparlante che il trasmettitore sono in modalità di associazione,
questa avviene automaticamente.

5 Avviare il software audio.

Avviare il software audio sul PC premendo il pulsante “AVVIO” sul
telecomando o lanciando l’applicazione direttamente dal desktop.

NOTA Il trasmettitore USB wireless deve essere collegato al PC prima di

lanciare l’applicazione audio (ad es. iTunes, Windows Media Player e altre),
il browser per l’accesso al servizio di radio Internet Pandora o qualsiasi altra
applicazione audio. Se il trasmettitore viene collegato quando l’applicazione
audio è già in corso, non si avrà audio fino a quando l’applicazione non sia
stata chiusa e aperta nuovamente.

NOTA Quando si riceve audio in streaming tramite il trasmettitore, si

consiglia di impostare al massimo il volume sia del PC che dell’applicazione
audio. Per ulteriori istruzioni sulla regolazione del volume del PC, visitare il

6 Assicurarsi che il PC sia all’interno del raggio d’azione

dell’altoparlante inMotionAir.

Il trasmettitore USB wireless ha un raggio d’azione fino a 100metri,
consentendo in tal modo di ascoltare musica in streaming da PC
collocati ovunque all’interno dell’abitazione.

Una volta associato, il LED “SORGENTE BLUETOOTH” si accenderà
in ambra e il LED “STATO BLUETOOTH” lampeggerà lentamente in
blu. Anche sul trasmettitore il LED lampeggerà lentamente in blu.

NOTA L’altoparlante inMotionAir può essere collegato direttamente anche

a un laptop o a un netbook Bluetooth. Per ulteriori istruzioni relative alla
modalità di associazione, visitare il sito www.alteclansing.com.

NOTA Il raggio d’azione può dipendere da alcuni fattori, quali la posizione

dell’appartamento, la posizione dei muri, i materiali da costruzione e la
presenza di altri dispositivi in radiofrequenza (RF).

La maggior parte dei cellulari e lettori audio Bluetooth hanno un
raggio d’azione di circa 10 metri. Il dispositivo audio portatile in uso
deve trovarsi entro questo raggio d’azione.

Una volta associato, il LED “SORGENTE BLUETOOTH” lampeggerà in
ambra e il LED “STATO BLUETOOTH” lampeggerà lentamente in blu.

5 Accendere il dispositivo audio.
6 Regolare il volume.
7 Ricercare il brano preferito.

audio portatile che non dispone di
connessione Bluetooth

Se il dispositivo audio portatile non dispone di connessione Bluetooth, è
possibile collegarlo ugualmente all’altoparlante inMotionAir. Sarà sufficiente
collegarlo alla presa AUX. Di seguito sono indicati i passaggi principali:

1 Prendere un cavo stereo da 3,5 mm

(non incluso).

2 Collegare un’estremità del cavo

stereo al dispositivo audio.

Il dispositivo audio deve essere dotato
di una presa per cuffie o LINE OUT.

3 Collegare l’altra estremità del

cavo stereo alla presa AUX
dell’altoparlante.

La presa AUX è situata sul retro dell’altoparlante.

5 Selezionare la modalità “AUX”.

NOTA Potrà essere necessario regolare anche il volume del dispositivo che

dovrà essere impostato a circa ¾ del volume.

L’altoparlante e il telecomando sono in grado di controllare la riproduzione
audio del dispositivo audio Bluetooth allo stesso modo del PC con il
trasmettitore USB wireless collegato.

finiture laccate, proteggere il ripiano di appoggio con un panno o altro
materiale protettivo.

Pulire l’altoparlante con un panno morbido, inumidito solo con acqua

Stellen Sie Ihren inMotionAir Lautsprecher auf einem Tisch, in einem Regal,
auf einer Ablage oder auf einer anderen festen Oberfläche auf. Um die
Empfangsreichweite des Lautsprechers zu maximieren, empfehlen wir, den
Lautsprecher (sowie den USB-Funksender, wenn Sie das Gerät mit einem
Computer paaren) in einer Höhe von mindestens 1 Meter (3 Fuß) vom
Boden aufzustellen.

Den Lithium-Ionen-Akku aufladen

Ihr inMotionAir Lautsprecher umfasst einen wiederaufladbaren Lithium­Ionen-Akku. Dieser Akku sollte vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme des
Lautsprechers vollständig aufgeladen werden.

Erste Schritte

1 Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich der Schalter für Versand und

langfristige Lagerung in der Position „ON“ befindet.

2 Schließen Sie den Lautsprecher an eine Steckdose an.

Siehe Kapitel Das Netzkabel anschließen. Wenn der Lautsprecher
eingeschaltet wird, leuchtet die “POWER”-LED grün. Wenn der
Lautsprecher ausgeschaltet ist, gibt es keine optische Anzeige,
die darauf hinweist, dass der Akku aufgeladen wird. Wenn der
Lautsprecher jedoch mit einer Steckdose verbunden ist, wird der
Akku solange geladen, bis er vollständig aufgeladen ist.

3 Lassen Sie den Akku einige Stunden lang aufladen.

WARNUNG Während des Aufladens wird der Akku normalerweise warm.

Aus Sicherheitsgründen sollten daher leicht entzündbare Materialien vom
Lautsprecher ferngehalten werden.

ACHTUNG Sie können die Akkuleistung folgendermaßen optimieren:

(1)Laden Sie den Akku vor der ersten Benutzung vollständig auf. (2)Stellen
Sie sicher, dass der Akku vollständig aufgeladen ist und dass sich der
Schalter für Versand und langfristige Lagerung in der Position „OFF“
befindet, bevor Sie das Gerät lagern. (3) Laden Sie den Akku mindestens
einmal pro Monat auf.

Ist der Akku vollständig aufgeladen, ermöglicht er bis zu 6 Stunden
Musikwiedergabe. Die “POWER”-LED zeigt den Ladestand des Akkus an:

• Grün: Gut

• Gelb: Niedrig

• Gelb blinkend: Sehr niedrig

Wenn die LED “POWER” beginnt, gelb zu blinken, sollten Sie den Akku
aufladen, da der Lautsprecher in Kürze automatisch ausgeschaltet wird.

Erste Schritte

Batterie in der Fernbedienung in Betrieb nehmen

Die (im Lieferumfang enthaltene) Batterie der
Fernbedienung wird werkseitig eingebaut.
Zwischen der Batterie und den Kontakten der
Fernbedienung wird jedoch ein Plastikstreifen
eingefügt, um ein Entleeren der Batterie während
des Versands zu verhindern.

1 Ziehen Sie den Plastikstreifen aus der

Fernbedienung heraus.

Batterie der Fernbedienung ersetzen

1 Ziehen Sie das Batteriefach etwa

zur Hälfte heraus.

Das Batteriefach befindet sich am
unteren Ende der Rückseite der
Fernbedienung. Ziehen Sie die Lasche
mit einem Fingernagel hin zur Mittellinie
der Fernbedienung, während Sie
gleichzeitig mit einem anderen Fingernagel das Batteriefach aus der
Fernbedienung herausziehen.

2 Entfernen Sie die gebrauchte Batterie, und ersetzen Sie sie

durch eine identische Batterie.

3 Schieben Sie das Batteriefach wieder in die Fernbedienung.

Achten Sie hierbei darauf, dass die Batterie nicht verrutscht.

Sie können es hören und fühlen, wenn die Lasche einrastet.

HINWEIS Entsorgen Sie gebrauchte Batterien bitte vorschriftsmäßig.

Ihren Lautsprecher einschalten

1 Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät mit einer Stromquelle

verbunden ist.

Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Netzadapter mit dem System sowie einer
Steckdose verbunden ist bzw. dass der Akku vollständig aufgeladen
ist. Weitere Informationen hierzu finden Sie in den Kapiteln Erste
Schritte und Den Lithium-Ionen-Akku aufladen.

2 Schalten Sie das Gerät ein.

Drücken Sie die Taste

Der Paarungsmodus des Lautsprechers und des Senders sollten
automatisch aktiviert werden, sobald Sie den Lautsprecher
einschalten und den Funksender erstmalig mit dem USB-Port
verbinden. Befolgen Sie die folgenden Anweisungen, wenn Sie den
Paarungsmodus erneut einleiten müssen:

die Taste „LAUNCH“ auf der Fernbedienung drücken oder direkt auf

Die meisten Bluetooth-fähigen Telefone und Musik-Player haben eine
Reichweite von ca. 10 Metern (33 Fuß). Ihr tragbares Audiogerät sollte
sich innerhalb dieser Reichweite des Lautsprechers befinden.

Nachdem die Paarung beendet wurde, blinkt die LED “B/T SOURCE”
gelb, die LED “B/TSTATUS” blinkt langsam blau.

5 Starten Sie die Wiedergabe auf Ihrem tragbaren Audiogerät.
