How to determine the Buchholz Indentation?

• Adjust the microscope and count the markings

Example: 36 lines = 1.8 mm

How to perform the Buchholz
Indentation?

ENGLISH

• Place the indentation tester carefully on the surface

for 30 sec.

How to find the indentation mark?

• Mark the position of the instrument pins before lifting it up and

without touching the instrument
