Architects' And Engineers' Specifications

The open-voice (loudspeaking) color video-intercom
monitor station(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / Golmar

SZENA series, or approved equal. Monitor(s) shall be mounted

surface using RC-SZENA mounting plate (or flush using optional
model CE-SZENA flush back box). Monitor(s) shall be connec ted
using looped 'common' wires and shall not require any selective
(point) wires or coaxial c abling. Monitor(s) shall include a high
quality 3.5" color LCD sc reen. Monitors using mirrors or other non­flat t ype screens, or coaxial cable shall not be accept able.
Monitor(s) shall feature elec tret condenser mic rophone for
exceptional voice fidelity. Monitor shall include a door release
button with Key symbol, and additional auxiliary switc hes for
features such as brightness/contrast, etc . Monitor shall feature an
elect ronic c hime signal, with a 2nd chime sound for optional
privat e door bell signaling. Monitor shall be in White (or optional
Black, Aluminum or Dark Gold as spec ified by architect or building
owner) and shall only protrude from the wall 1.40" inc hes (36mm).

Contract or shall observe all local and national electrical
and building codes.

Szena Series COLOR Video-Intercom Monitors

The Alpha Communicat ions® / Golmar SZENA series open-voice
(loudspeaking) color monitors are designed to meet virtually any
requirement for video-intercom security, while not requiring any
riser c oaxial cabling, or any selective (home-run) wiring.

These att ractive monitors are c onveniently surfac e mounted right
on the wall. Monitors can be changed to flush mount with the
addition of an opt ional model CE-SZENA flush back box.

All SZENA series monitors feature a cryst al clear 3.5" color LCD flat
screen monitor (measured diagonally), electronic c hime signaling,
one (1) momentary door release button switc h (with key symbol),
and switc hes for additional functions.
