Architects' And Engineers' Specifications

The remote station(s) shall be Alpha Communicat ions® /
Ring model SS910 or approved equivalent. Remot e(s) shall have
clear t wo-way c ommunications. Remote(s) shall feat ure a tamper­resistant design to protec t the speaker, microphone, LED, and
circuitry from external abuse and the elements. Remote fac eplate
shall be made of high quality 11 gauge St ainless Steel, in a
brushed finish.

Remote(s) flush mounts in a 3.50" deep three gang electrical box
(our model BBF910) with four tamper resistant sc rews (not
included), or can be surface mounted using a model BBS910
surface back box. Remote is designed to work with the RM5000EX
and/or CB901EX microprocessor intercom systems. When used as a
elevator remote station, with the AND16 series annunciator, each

SS910 requires the contractor to furnish and install a model AN912

annunciator c ontrol module.

Contract or shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.

SS910 Tamper-Resistant Remote Substation

The SS910 is a tamper-resistant remot e st ation designed
to protect the speaker, microphone, LED, and circuitry
from external abuse and t he elements. This remote station is
ideally suited for use in elevator, correct ional facilities,
institutions, parking facilities and sec ured entrances. T he SS910 is
designed to work with the RM5000EX and/or CB901EX
microprocessor intercom systems.

The face plate is c onstructed of high quality 11 gauge
Stainless Steel with a brushed finish. The weat her-resistant 45
ohm speaker is physically protec ted by an offset baffle and
the microphone is encased in a machined bloc k to prevent
tampering. For a wider viewing angle and c onsiderable security, the
LED is mounted behind .250" thick LUCITE.

(not included), or can be surface mounted using a model

BBS910 surfac e back box.

When used as a elevator remote station and with the AND16 series
annunciator, eac h SS910 requires a model AN912 annunciator
control module.
