The Alpha Communicat ions® / TekTone SF527UL Wireless Support Module is for use with
the T ek-CARE®500 (TC500) Wireless Emergency Call System. When the SF527UL is
connected to a SF337C Waterproof Emergency Stat ion, the SF337C operates as a wireless
device in the T ek-CARE®500 syst em. When properly installed, the SF527UL/SF337C
assembly may be locat ed in a shower, bath or t ub room, regardless of environmental
conditions (stainless steel and other metal fixtures may interfere with signal transmission).

The SF527UL is based on EchoSt ream® spread spec trum technology and transmits signals
at the 900 MHz frequency. It includes a universal transmitter and a pre-assembled 7-pin
wiring harness for c onnect ion to the SF337C Emergency Station. T he SF527UL requires no
other wiring connections and is powered by a user-replaceable 3V lithium battery.

For surface mount applications, t he SF337C and SF527UL assembly c an be mounted inside
the optional model IH527 surfac e plastic housing.

The Wireless Support Module(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / TekTone SF527UL or approved equal. When the SF527UL is c onnected t o
the SF337C Waterproof Emergency Stat ion, the SF337C shall operate as a wireless device when used with the Tek-CARE®500
Emergency Call System. T he SF527UL shall use the 900 MHz frequency for signal transmission. The SF527UL shall include a 7-pin wiring
harness for connect ion to the SF 337C Emergency Station. T he SF527UL shall require no other wiring c onnections and shall be powered by a
3V lithium battery.

TekTone® has designed the Tek-CARE®500 (TC500) to work as a system. Its NC474 Tek-Bridge Master St ation Computer has been
carefully designed and matched to work with TC500 wireless and wired peripherals. TekTone® will not warrant or support
components of TC500 that are purchased separately unless the c omponents are add-ons to previously sold systems. TekTone® will also not
warrant or support a system that is a mix of T ekTone® and Non-TekTone® parts, unless prior written permission has been obt ained. In
order to track our syst ems and to inform fac ilities of software upgrades, full site information (site name, address and phone number) will be
required when ordering. Site information and NC510UL warranty number will also be required when requesting technical support.
