SF515UL Wireless Passive Infra-Red DetectorSF515UL Wireless Passive Infra-Red Detector

The Alpha Communicat ions® / TekTone SF515UL Wireless Passive Infra-Red Detec tor is for
use with the T ekCARE®500 (TC500) Wireless Emergency Call System. The detect or
features advanced digital signal processing to rec ognize "human signature" size and
movement, reducing false alarms. The SF515UL has a tamper protected case and the 3V
lithium batt ery is included.

The SF515UL Wireless Passive Infra-Red Detec t or is ideal for residential and low-traffic
commercial applic at ions. With GE Interlogix's 'premier Sharpshooter™', the SF515UL has
increased immunity to radio interference, vibration, stat ic, stray light, rapid temperature
changes and other false alarm sources. It provides 90° x 40' c overage.

The wireless Passive Infra-Red Detec tor(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / TekTone SF515UL or approved equal. It shall use the 900 MHz
frequency for signal transmission. T he SF515UL's opaque Fresnel lens shall focus infrared energy on pyroelectric sensors, reducing false
alarms c aused by stray light or heat sources.

No physical wiring c onnect ions shall be required to transmit an alarm c all. The SF515UL Shall be powered by a 3V lithium battery. Mounting
hardware and housing shall permit flat wall, corner or hallway mounting, with swivel adjustments for aiming for nominal coverage. T he
transmitter shall be no larger than 2.875"w x 3.688"h x 2.063"d.

TekTone® has designed the Tek-CARE®500 (TC500) to work as a system. Its NC501ES Master St ation Computer has been c arefully
designed and matc hed to work with TC500 wireless and wired peripherals. T ekTone® will not warrant or support components of TC500 that
are purchased separately unless the components are add-ons t o previously sold syst ems. TekTone® will also not warrant or support a
system that is a mix of TekTone® and Non-TekTone® parts, unless prior written permission has been obtained. In order to t rack our
systems and t o inform facilities of soft ware upgrades, full site information (site name, address and phone number) will be required when
ordering. Site information and NC501ES warranty number will also be required when requesting tec hnical support.
