Log roll the patient to place
the hovermatt underneath.
Use a sheet between the
patient and the hovermatt® to
prevent soiling.
Note: label should be facing up at
foot end
Attach patient safety straps
Plug electric cord into outlet
Attach air supply hose at
either
Make sure the snap and Velcro
flap are attached.
Push grey button on air
supply to turn it on and
inflate the Hovermatt®.

Adjust working surface to
proper height. Push the two
working surfaces together. Lock
the wheel brakes.
Grasp the side handles and
gently
angle, head or feet first
patient is centered in the
receiving surface.
Do not use the patient straps
to pull the hovermatt®.
After completing transfer, turn
off the air supply and
disconnect the hose from the
Hovermatt®.
Never leave a patient
unattended on an inflated
mattress
