FSV1000 Series Open-Voice Intercom Stations

The Alpha Communicat ions® / S.T.R.™ FSV1000 QwikBUS™ Series
stat ions are designed to work as an apartment type open-voice
intercom stat ion, using a minimal of wiring. All FSV1000 stat ions in
a building can be wired on only two (2) common (loop) wires! The

QwikBUS™ system can support hundreds of FSV1000 stations on a

single system. Choose from White and five (5) other decorator
inspired finishes.

These att ractive and trim st ations easily surface mount right on
the finished wall, or c an flush mount over a model UMF1000 flush
plastic housing. Stations can be changed t o desk mount with the
addition of a model TZ- FS (White) desk adapter. All FSV1000
series QwikBUS™ stations select able elect ronic tone signaling,
Voice On, Door Release, Call Volume, and three (3) momentary
button switc hes.

These switc hes c an be used for door release, or other signalling
funct ions, depending upon system configuration. All FSV1000
series QwikBUS™ stations can be direc tly inter-mixed with

QwikBUS™ video-intercom stat ions, or with t he HT3033 series
QwikBUS™ handsets.

Architects' And Engineers' Specifications

The 2- Wire open-voice intercom stat ion(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / S.T.R.™ QwikBUS™ FSV1000 in (White, Titanium, 24K Gold
Plated, Cryst al Glass, Stainless Steel or Anthracite) color. Station(s) shall be mounted (surface, flush or desktop), with required optional
components. Station(s) shall feat ure elect ret c ondenser microphone for exceptional half-duplex voice fidelity (requiring no press to talk or
listen buttons). Stations that include simplex type or other voice tec hnologies shall not be ac c eptable. Station shall include a Voice On,
Door Release, Call Volume, and three (3) auxiliary push butt ons. St ation(s) shall include a built-in (user selectable) elect ronic call tone
signal. Station(s) shall require only two (2) common (loop) wires for system operation, or can be inter-mixed directly with QwikBUS™ video-
intercom systems, without the use of any adapter(s).
