FS1500 Series Open-Voice Intercom Stations

The Alpha Communicat ions® / S.T.R.™ FS1500 QwikBUS™ Series
stat ions are designed to work as an apartment type open-voice
intercom stat ion, using a minimal of wiring. All FS1500 st ations in a
building can be wired on only two (2) common (loop) wires!
The QwikBUS™ system can support hundreds of FS1500 stations
on a single system. Choose from White and five (5) other
decorator inspired finishes.

These att ractive and trim st ations easily surface mount right on
the finished wall, or c an flush mount over a model UMF1000 flush
plastic housing with model HWB mounting sc rews. Stations can
be c hanged to desk mount with t he addition of a model TZ- FS
(White) desk adapt er.

All FS1500 series QwikBUS™ stations select able elect ronic tone
signaling, Voice On, Door Release, Call Volume, one (1) momentary
button switc hes. T hese switches can be used for door release, or
other signaling func tions, depending upon syst em c onfiguration. All

FS1500 series have two (2) selec tive calling buttons, marked '1'

and '2' whic h allow internal calling (and inter-communication)
within up to t hree (3) FS1500 stations within a single apartment or
suite location.

(23mm). All dimensions shown are for
the surface wall type st ation.

Architects' And Engineers' Specifications

The 2- Wire open voice intercom station(s) shall be Alpha Communicat ions® / S.T.R.™ QwikBUS™ FS1500 in (White, Titanium, 24K Gold
Plated, Cryst al Glass, Stainless Steel or Anthracite) color. Station(s) shall be mounted (surface, flush or desktop), with required optional
mounting components. St ation(s) shall feature electret condenser microphone for exceptional half duplex voice fidelity (requiring no pressing
of Talk or Listen butt ons).

Stat ions that include simplex t ype or ot her voice tec hnologies shall not be ac ceptable. Station shall include a Voic e On, Door Release, Call
Volume and two (2) internal calling butt ons for inter-communication in a single apartment/suite. Station(s) shall include a built-in (user
selectable) electronic c all tone signal. St ation(s) shall require only t wo (2) c ommon (loop) wires for system operation, or can be intermixed
with QwikBUS™ video-intercom systems, using the optional F SAMV adapter board.
