FS1000 Series Open-Voice Intercom Stations

The Alpha Communicat ions® / S.T.R.™ FS1000 QwikBUS™ Series
stat ions are designed to work as an apartment type open-voice
intercom stat ion, using a minimal of wiring. All FS1000 st ations in a
building can be wired on only two (2) common (loop) wires!
The QwikBUS™ system can support hundreds of FS1000 stations
on a single system. Choose from White and five (5) other
decorator inspired finishes.

These att ractive and trim st ations easily surface mount right on
the finished wall, or c an flush mount over a model UMF1000 flush
plastic housing with model HWB mounting sc rews. Stations can
be c hanged to desk mount with t he addition of a model TZ- FS
(White) desk adapt er.

All FS1000 series QwikBUS™ stations select able elect ronic tone
signaling, Voice On, Door Release, Call Volume, and three (3)
momentary button switches (marked '0', '1' and '2').

These switc hes c an be used for door release, or other signaling
funct ions, depending upon system configuration. All FS1000 series

QwikBUS™ stations can be inter-mixed with t he HT3033 series
QwikBUS™ handsets (but not with the QwikBUS™ video-

intercom stat ions, which require the FSV1000 series units).

(23mm). All dimensions shown are for
the surface wall type st ation.

Architects' And Engineers' Specifications

The 2- Wire open voice intercom station(s) shall be Alpha Communicat ions® / S.T.R.™ QwikBUS™ FS1000 in (White, Titanium, 24K Gold
Plated, Cryst al Glass, Stainless Steel or Anthracite) color. Station(s) shall be mounted (surface, flush or desktop), with required optional
mounting components. St ation(s) shall feature electret condenser microphone for exceptional half duplex voice fidelity (requiring no pressing
of any Talk or Listen buttons).

Stat ions that include simplex t ype or ot her voice tec hnologies shall not be ac ceptable. Station shall include a Voic e On, Door Release, Call
Volume and three (3) momentary button switc hes (marked '0', '1' and '2'). Station(s) shall include a built-in (user selec table) elec tronic call
tone signal. St ation(s) shall require only two (2) common (loop) wires for system operation, or c an be intermixed with QwikBUS™ video-
intercom systems, using the opt ional FSAMV adapter board.
