Getting Started

To use your onetouch BH50 Bluetooth headset (“headset”), please follow
the steps below:

1, Charging Your Headset

Ensure your headset is fully charged and power on. The headset comes
with a built-in rechargeable battery. Prior to using the headset for the first
time, it is recommended to fully charge the battery. When using a charger,
insert the microUSB tip into the headset’s charging socket. While using a
charging cable, plug USB tip into a PC or laptop computer which is
powered on after the micro USB tip is plugged in the charging socket of
the headset.

2, Pairing

Pair your charged headset with a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone.

1) Ensure that headset is off.

2) To activate the pairing mode, press and hold the headset’s MFB
without releasing your finger until its status indicator flashes red/blue.

3) Make sure that your mobile device’s Bluetooth is activated. Search
Bluetooth devices, select “onetouch BH50” and enter the passcode “0000”.
When pairing is completed, the headset’s status indicator will flash blue
light rapidly five times.

If pairing cannot be completed within three minutes after the pairing mode
activation, the headset’s status indicator will flash purple 5 times and then
turns to standby mode. Repeat steps 1 to 3 to pair the devices again.

Using your headset

When you turn on your headset for the first time, the headset enters into
pairing mode. The status indicator flashes red and blue alternately, so that
you can immediately pair it with your mobile phone.

To use voice dial, one has to record the voice tag in the mobile device first.

Voice Prompt

Voice prompt is a very convenient feature, which will guide you operate
the headset with voice instruction. Press “volume up and volume down
side keys” simultaneously over 6 seconds to enter languages selection
mode. onetouch BH50 offers 3 languages - English, Chinese and Spanish.
Press volume up or down side key to select a language and press MFB to
confirm the selection. It can be disabled (or enabled again) through
pressing “MFB and volume down side key” simultaneously for over 6
seconds.

Multi-connection

With multi-connection, onetouch BH50 can connect to up to 2 Bluetooth
enabled mobile phones. By default, this function is enabled. It can be
disabled or enabled again through pressing “MFB and volume up side
key” simultaneously for over 6 seconds.

Factory Setting Reset

You may restore onetouch BH50 to its default settings. Resetting will also
remove the pairing history of your headset with the mobile phone.

1. Keep onetouch BH50 in “power on” mode

2. Remove the Bluetooth® connection to onetouch BH50on your
phone or other devices

3. Hold the button of “Volume up”, “Volume down” and “MFB”

4. Headset will restart by flashing blue 3 times then goes into paring mode
automatically.
onetouch BH50 Bluetooth headset is designed to work with Alcatel
Bluetooth devices. Due to large variability between different Bluetooth
devices from different manufacturers, interoperability between the
headset and non-Alcatel Bluetooth-enabled products is not guaranteed.

Troubleshooting

I can hear crackling noise.
To receive the best audio quality, it is recommended to wear your headset
on the same side of the body as your mobile phone.
I can't hear anything in my headset.

• Ensure the headset is turned on and is properly charged.

• Ensure the headset is properly paired with the mobile phone.

• Ensure that the mobile phone is connected with the headset

– if it does not connect, either refer to the mobile phone's
Bluetooth menu or by pressing the MFB once (see “Using Your
Headset” and “Pairing Your Headset with a Bluetooth Mobile
Phone”).

I can't connect my headset with my mobile phone.

• Ensure your headset is turned off and is properly charged.

• Ensure the headset is properly paired with your mobile

phone.

• Ensure your mobile phone’s Bluetooth feature is activated.
Please refer to your mobile phone user guide for specific
instruction.

• Ensure the headset is within 32 feet range of your mobile
phone and there are no obstructions, such as walls or other
electronic devices in between.

If the above steps do not solve your problem, please recharge the headset
and remove your mobile phone’s battery for a while.

Safety Information

• Check and observe local laws regarding the use of a mobile
phone and a headset while driving. If you use the headset while
driving, ensure your full attention and focus. It is your
responsibility to drive safely. Consider to pull off the road before
making or answering a call.

• Never leave your headset above any air bag deployment
area inside your car as serious injury may result when an air bag
deploys.

• Never allow children to play with the headset – small parts
may be of choking hazard.

• Observe all signs and displays that require an electrical
device or RF radio product to be switched off in designated areas.
These could include hospitals, blasting areas, and potentially
explosive atmospheres.

• Turn off your headset prior to boarding an aircraft. Do not
use your headset inside an aircraft.

• To prevent damage to your hearing, please do not set the
listening volume too high.

• Do not attempt to modify the headset.

• Do not keep the headset near a wash basin or other wet

places.

• Do not use the headset outdoors in the rain.

• Do not use the headset in stormy weather.

• Do not clean the headset while it is being charged. Always

disconnect the charger from the headset before cleaning.

• Do not attempt to force open the built-in battery.

• Only charge the headset’s built-in battery in accordance with
the instructions described in this user guide.

Mise en route

Pour utiliser votre oreillette Bluetooth BH50 onetouch, veuillez suivre les
étapes ci-dessous :

1,Chargement de l’oreillette

Assurez-vous que l’oreillette est complètement rechargée et allumez-la.
L’oreillette vous est fournie avec une batterie rechargeable intégrée.
Avant d’utiliser l’oreillette pour la première fois, il est recommandé de
recharger complètement la batterie. Lors de l’utilisation d’un chargeur,
insérez la fiche micro-USB dans le connecteur de charge de l’oreillette.
Lors de l’utilisation d’un câble de chargement, insérez la fiche micro-USB
dans le connecteur de charge de l’oreillette, puis branchez le connecteur
USB à un ordinateur sous tension.

2,Procédure d’association

Associez votre oreillette rechargée à un appareil mobile compatible
Bluetooth.

1) Assurez-vous que l’oreillette est éteinte.

2) Pour activer la procédure d’association, maintenez la touche
multifonction enfoncée jusqu’à ce que l’indicateur d’état clignote en rouge
et bleu.

3) Vérifiez que votre appareil mobile Bluetooth est activé. Recherchez

les appareils Bluetooth, sélectionnez « onetouch BH50 », puis saisissez
le code « 0000 ». Une fois l’association terminée, l’indicateur d’état de
l’oreillette clignote rapidement 5 fois en bleu.
Si la procédure d’association n’aboutit pas au bout de trois minutes,
l’indicateur d’état de l’oreillette clignote en violet 5 fois, puis passe en
mode veille. Répétez alors les étapes 1 à 3 pour associer d’autres
appareils.

Utilisation de l’oreillette

Le Guide vocal est une fonctionnalité très pratique, conçue pour faciliter la
prise en main de l’oreillette grâce à des instructions vocales. Appuyez
simultanément sur les deux touches latérales de volume haut et bas
pendant plus de 6 secondes pour entrer en mode de sélection de langue.
onetouch BH50 vous propose trois langues : anglais, chinois et espagnol.
Appuyez sur la touche de volume haut ou bas pour sélectionner une
langue, puis appuyez sur la touche multifonction pour valider votre
sélection. Vous pouvez désactiver (ou réactiver) cette fonctionnalité en
appuyant simultanément sur la touche multifonction et sur la touche de
volume bas pendant plus de 6 secondes.

Connexions multiples

L’oreillette onetouch BH50 peut se connecter à 2 appareils mobiles
compatibles Bluetooth. Cette fonction est activée par défaut. Pour la
désactiver (ou la réactiver), appuyez simultanément sur la touche
multifonction et sur la touche de volume haut pendant plus de 6 secondes.

Restauration des valeurs d’usine

Vous pourriez être amené à réinitialiser votre oreillette onetouch BH50
pour restaurer les valeurs d’usine. La réinitialisation effacera l’historique
des associations de votre oreillette avec votre appareil mobile.

1. Laissez votre oreillette onetouch BH50 allumée.

2. Désactivez la connexion Bluetooth® entre votre oreillette onetouch
BH50 et votre téléphone portable ou tout autre appareil mobile.

3. Maintenez les touches volume haut, volume bas et multifonction
enfoncées simultanément.

4. L’oreillette clignote en bleu 3 fois et repasse automatiquement en
mode d’association.

L’oreillette onetouch BH50 Bluetooth a été conçue pour fonctionner avec

les appareils Bluetooth Alcatel. En raison d’une trop grande différence
entre les appareils Bluetooth des divers fabricants, l’interopérabilité entre
cette oreillette et des produits compatibles Bluetooth autres qu’Alcatel
n’est pas garantie.

Problèmes et solutions

J’entends un grésillement.
Afin de bénéficier d’une qualité audio optimale, il est conseillé de porter
l’oreillette du même côté du corps que votre téléphone portable.
Je n’entends rien du tout dans l’oreillette.

• Assurez-vous que l’oreillette est allumée et qu’elle est
correctement chargée.

• Assurez-vous que l’oreillette est correctement associée à votre
téléphone portable.

• Assurez-vous que votre téléphone portable est connecté à
l’oreillette. Si ce n’est pas le cas, reportez-vous au menu
Bluetooth de votre téléphone ou appuyez une fois sur la touche
multifonctions (voir « Utilisation de l’oreillette » et « Association
de votre oreillette à un téléphone portable Bluetooth »).

Je n’arrive pas à connecter mon oreillette à mon téléphone portable.

• Assurez-vous que l’oreillette est allumée et qu’elle est
correctement chargée.

• Assurez-vous que l’oreillette est correctement associée à votre
téléphone.

• Assurez-vous que l’option Bluetooth de votre téléphone est
activée. Veuillez consulter le guide d’utilisation de votre téléphone
portable pour toute autre information particulière.

• Assurez-vous que l’oreillette se trouve dans un rayon de moins de
dix mètres de votre téléphone portable et qu’il n’existe aucun

obstacle, tel un mur ou d’autres appareils électroniques, entre les
deux appareils.

Si les étapes précédentes ne vous permettent pas de résoudre votre
problème, veuillez recharger l’oreillette et enlever la batterie de votre
téléphone pendant quelques instants.

Précautions d’emploi

• Veuillez consulter et respecter les lois locales en vigueur
concernant l’utilisation des téléphones portables et des oreillettes
lors de la conduite d’un véhicule. Si vous utilisez l’oreillette en
conduisant, restez toujours parfaitement concentré sur la route. Il
est de votre responsabilité de conduire avec prudence. Pensez à
vous ranger sur le bas-côté de la route avant d’appeler ou de
répondre à un appel.

• Ne laissez jamais l’oreillette à proximité d’un airbag dans votre
voiture car cela pourrait provoquer de graves blessures lors de
son déploiement.

• Ne laissez jamais un enfant jouer avec l’oreillette. Les petites
pièces pourraient provoquer un étouffement.

• Soyez attentif aux indications et aux affichages demandant
d’éteindre tout appareil électrique ou produit utilisant des
radiofréquences dans certaines zones telles que les hôpitaux, les
zones d’utilisation d’explosifs et les atmosphères potentiellement
explosives.

• Éteignez l’oreillette avant d’embarquer à bord d’un avion.
N’utilisez pas l’oreillette à bord d’un avion.

• Afin d’éviter d’endommager votre audition, veuillez ne pas régler
le volume d’écoute trop fort.

• N’essayez pas de modifier l’oreillette.
