Creating your Personal Area Network (PAN) with Bluetooth

The micro, ultra size Bluetooth adapter holds its performance and advanced into Bluetooth version

3.0. With the length of 1.9cm only, it can be plugged into your desktop computer or notebook computer
with hardly ever notice of its existence. User can now create his/her own Personal Area Network with
Bluetooth by connecting the computer with mobile phone, PDA, Bluetooth headsets and Bluetooth
keyboard/mouse etc.

Backward compatible with Bluetooth v1.2/2.0/2.1+

The AirLive BT-302USB is a Bluetooth v3.0 USB adapter that connects with all kind of Bluetooth
peripheral devices. It is backward compatible with previous Bluetooth version such as v1.2, v2.0 and
v2.1+, so there will not be any compatibility concern by using Bluetooth v3.0. In addition, Bluetooth
v3.0 inherited all the features from previous version such as v2.0’s A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution
Profile) and v2.1’s EDR (Enhanced Data Rate.) Also with Bluetooth version 3.0, it further enhanced the
power saving and noise cancellation, which it makes the consumption even lower and connection even
better.

Class 2 with Extend Signal Range

The standard class 2 signal range is up to 10 meters only, but with AirLive BT-302USB, we extended
the class 2 range up to 30 meters in open space.*
With the extended signal range, user gain flexibility by moving around within greater area.

*The signal range distance will depend on the environment; different environment might cause different test result.

Broadcom Solution with Widcomm Software

AirLive BT-302USB is using Broadcom hardware solution with Widcomm software utility. Each
individual adapter comes with certified software license approved by Widcomm. However, installing
software utility is not necessary because our hardware solution has been adapted by Windows and Mac
operating system, this adapter will automatically be recognized with driver installed. If you are looking
for advance features such as Share/Edit/Print via Bluetooth or synchronize information with Mobile/
PDA, then installing the Widcomm software utility is recommended.
