Technical Overview

Introduction

Polystyrene standards are the fi rst choice for many organic solvents, either for
conventional GPC column calibration or for calibrating light scattering and viscosity
detectors. Agilent’s S-M2-10 calibration kit contains 0.5 g of ten different molecular
weight standards.

The polystyrene standards illustrated in Figure 1 are typical of the S-M2-10 medium molecular weight polystyrene standards kit
that covers the linear range of the PLgel 5 μm MIXED-D column.
