Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Online provides an online, remote, secure
location so users can store their files and system image backups without
any additional hardware investment for remote redundancy of backup files.
Unlike other online backup services, Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Online
does more than just protect your files. It leverages Acronis’ patented
Disk Imaging technology and Cloud technology to protect whole systems,
including the operating system and applications. It’s a cost-effective
online subscription ser vice for workstations and servers – you only pay
one flat rate per machine.
Since both Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Online and Acronis Backup &
Recovery 10 are integrated, one console seamlessly manages all of your

Backup Individual Files or an Entire System Image. Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Online allows you to backup specific files
and folders, virtual machines or an entire system image including the operating system, applications and configuration
information. Users can restore these files, virtual machines or system images to any server or workstation, eliminating the
need to match the underlying hardware before you can start using them.
Support for Virtualized Environments. Acronis supports the systems you have today with agent-less backup and recovery
of virtual machines to the cloud. Virtual Machine backups are stored in Acronis Online Storage when used with Acronis
Backup & Recovery 10 Online for Virtual Machines. The annual subscription includes 2TB of online storage, maintenance
and unlimited virtual machines per host. And backup data for all virtual machines on a physical VMware ESX server or
Microsoft Hyper-V server only requires one Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Online for Virtual Machines subscription per
host. Plus, you manage your Virtual Machines the same way as physical machines from the same management console.
Comprehensive Management & Control. Business users can establish local and online backup policies for workstations and
servers from a single, centralized client console. Whether machines are backed up locally using Acronis Backup & Recovery 10,
remotely using Acronis Backup & Recover y 10 Online or both, users can manage all of their data protection options from
one application.

Government-grade Data Privacy & Security. Data privacy is critical to businesses, and Acronis takes security to the
maximum level. Government-approved AES-256 Encryption comes standard with Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Online.
Moreover, each customer has the option (and is strongly encouraged) to create a unique private key which ensures that
only that user has access to their business’ information. Neither Acronis nor anyone else is able to access your data.
Unparalleled Data Protection Flexibility. The addition of Acronis online data protection gives IT managers the flexibility
to balance their need for both local and online data protection on a system-by-system or group-by-group basis without
having to carry out time-consuming and costly “fork lift” upgrades to align the two. Acronis supports any one or any
combination of these scenarios:
1. Systems that require multiple copies of their information stored in multiple locations
2. Systems that only require local data protection
3. Systems that only require online data protection
As needs change, IT managers can easily reconfigure any machine or group of machines to match evolving data protection
circumstances.
Initial “Seeding” and Large Scale Recovery Options. Acronis recognizes that backing up large servers over the Internet
can take days. Acronis offers the ability to create an encrypted local backup and then physically ship an external hard
drive to Acronis. This data is then uploaded into your Acronis Online Storage. After the initial backup, only incremental
backups are required, which can easily be transmitted over the Internet. Similarly, in the event of a large server outage,
customers can call Acronis and Acronis will load a server’s backups onto an external hard drive and physically ship it to
you. This may be faster than recovering hundreds of gigabytes over the Internet.
Licensing and Installation. Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Online is available in annual subscriptions of 250GB for
workstations, 1TB for servers and 2TB for VMware ESX or Microsoft Hyper-V host. Customers download the client software,
register their online account and then begin backing up their workstations and servers to Acronis Online Storage.
Built-in Redundancy. Acronis Online Storage is designed for high availability and scalability distributing customers’ data
across multiple storage servers.
Acronis® AdvantageSM Premier. The Acronis® AdvantageSM program is an enhanced, multi-level subscription-based
support and maintenance program. The first year of Acronis Advantage Premier is included in the license price.
