PLAY Personal Bluetooth Speaker
Fully charge PLAY for at least 2 hours through a

wall outlet before first use (see step ➋).
To recharge PLAY

Screw o PLAY’s base in an anti-clockwise
direction. Insert the supplied USB 2.0 cable (micro
USB end a) into PLAY’s 5V input port b. Insert
USB end of cable c into the USB 2.0 port of your
wall adaptor, laptop or PC d. The power LED will
turn red to indicate PLAY is charging - the LED
will turn o once the charging is complete.

Pairing PLAY for the first time with your device

Enable your device’s (eg. smartphone or tablet) Bluetooth. Hold down the Power

Buon
for 4 seconds to turn PLAY on. PLAY will automatically try to find your
device. It will make a sound and the LED
appear in your device’s paired devices list. ‘Pair’ your device with PLAY. PLAY will
then make another tone to confirm the pairing and the LED will quickly flash blue.
You are now free to play music & audio through PLAY. Adjust the volume of PLAY
through your device’s volume seings or the - or + buons g on PLAY (long
press). For every pairing aer your first, you only need to turn on your device’s
Bluetooth, turn on PLAY by holding down the Power Buon
wait for the ‘pairing successful’ tone.

Important Safety Information
PLEASE READ BEFORE OPERATION
1. Before recharging PLAY through a
wall outlet make sure wall outlet
voltage is 5V.
2. Make sure to use a standard USB
2.0 Charge & Sync Cable with the
appropriate specifications - other
cables may damage your smartphone,
tablet or PLAY.
3. Do not drop, knock, dissasemble or
aempt to repair PLAY.
4. Do not immerse or put PLAY in water
and keep PLAY in a dry place.
5. Do not expose PLAY to excessive heat

including sunlight and fire.
6. Do not use PLAY near explosive gases
or flammable materials.
7. Do not burn or incinerate PLAY.
8. Do not expose PLAY to harsh
chemicals.
9. Turning PLAY’s volume up to the max
shortens the life of PLAY. It also may
damage your hearing.
10. Puing anything in PLAY’s input or
output ports, other than a standard
USB 2.0 charge & sync cable will
cause damage or short out PLAY.
11. When encountering any fault during
operation, please cut o the power
supply and disconnect the USB cable
to prevent further damage to the
speaker or other components.
12. The Bluetooth transmission range or
connectivity could be aected by low
baery power. In that case, recharge
immediately.
