The WAN driver uses Dial-up Networking to establish the
ADSL connection. The LAN driver establishes an always-on
ADSL connection automatically.

Hardware Installation
Follow the steps below to install the Prestige in your computer.
Save and close all programs before you begin.
1. Turn off the computer and peripheral
device, such as the printer. Then
disconnect the computer power cord from
the power source.
2. Ground yourself by wearing an anti-static
wrist strap or touching a metal object.
3. Remove the computer cover and the
Prestige from its packaging.
4. Insert the Prestige into an available PCI
slot. Make sure the Prestige’s contacts are
fully seated in the PCI slot.
5. Secure the Prestige to the computer with a
bracket screw.
6. Replace the computer cover and plug in
the power cord.

Hardware Connection
Connect the Prestige directly to the telephone wall jack with a telephone cable as
shown in the figure below.
Driver Installation
Follow the steps to install the device driver for the Prestige to work properly.
1. When a Found New Hardware Wizard window displays. Click Cancel to
close the wizard window.
2. Insert the supplied CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive in your computer.
The CD-Rom auto runs and an AutoPlay Menu window displays as shown.
(If no screen displays, find and double-click Open.exe on the support
CD-ROM.)
