General InformationGeneral Information
The MJK 703 Pump Controller is a compact unit designed
for the control of liquid levels in 2-3 pumps or valves
between four variable level settings. The Pump Controller
has 3-digit continuous display of level measurements.

If hydrostatic measuring system is applied (703P), the
pump controller is delivered with a pressure transmitter for
either absolute or relative pressure.
At absolute pressure transmitter type 7050 measures the
hydrostatic pressure in the liquid (at the bottom). The
amplifier has a build-in pressure compensation.

The ultrasonic sensor has a moulded-in piezoelectric
crystal which emits an ultrasonic signal and receives an
echo signal from the surface measured. The amplifier
converts the signals received from the sensor to a levelÂproportional signal which is used for display of level values
and for maximum and minimum level monitoring within the
six limit settings.
At relative pressure transmitter type 7060 is used, this
transmitter has a tube for pressure equalizing. The
measured bottom pressure is equalized with the surface
pressure via the tube, and the transmitter directly
measures the correct liquid pressure.
The 4-20 mA signal from the transmitter is sent to the
amplifier, where the level is indicated and the start / stop /
alarm signals are processed.
When measuring in pressure tanks, the maximal pressure
(super-pressure + liquid pressure) must not exceed the
range of the connected transmitter.
