This appliance is for household use only. It may be plugged into any
AC electrical outlet (ordinary household current). Do not use any
other type of electrical outlet.

Before using for the first time, clean all parts. (See “To Clean” under
Care and Cleaning.) Do not immerse Motor End of unit in water.

This Hand-Held Blender blends, mixes and chops fast and easily.
Use it to make sauces, soups, mayonnaise, purees, dietetic and
baby food, mixed drinks or cocktails.

It comes complete with a handy plastic Blending Cup, but it can just
as efficiently be operated in a bowl, pan or other container.

SPECIAL ATTENTION:

• Do not use Blender in saucepan directly on stovetop. Remove pan

from heat before blending.

• Do not lower Blender into container beyond the Immersion Line

indicated on unit.

• Place blade-end of Blender into bottom of Cup or other container

before turning unit on, to prevent splashing.

• To avoid spattering, never lift Blender out of ingredients while

motor is on.

• While using, untwist the Cord from time to time to avoid tangling.
TO USE:

Blender has two speeds -- Lo (I) and Hi (II) . Press the Speed Switch
(Lo or Hi) for continuous blending. Blending action stops when
switch is released.

For a short “burst” of blending, push and release the Speed Switch
for Lo (I) or Hi (II) speed.

NOTE: During use, it is normal for suction to be created at the
bottom of the container.

WALL-MOUNT BRACKET: Before installing the Wall-Mount
Bracket, check the intended wall location for structural strength.
Injury to persons and damage to product may result if bracket is
pulled from the wall. Make sure to install the Wall-Mount Bracket
on a structural wall surface that is sound.

To install the Wall-Mount Bracket, locate and mark the appropriate
position for the holes on the wall. Drill holes to accommodate
screws supplied (wall anchors can be used for a more secure
installation). Place bracket on wall. Align holes on bracket with
those on wall. Hold bracket steady and tighten screws to secure
in place.

CUIDADO ESPECIAL:

PARA USAR:

This appliance is permanently lubricated and will not require
additional lubrication for the life of the unit. It contains no user
serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified service personnel.

TO CLEAN:

Always unplug the unit before cleaning. Place the blade end of
blender under warm running water immediately after blending is
completed. Wipe Motor End of handle with a damp cloth or
sponge. NEVER IMMERSE MOTOR END IN WATER. The plastic
Blending Cup may be placed in the top rack of dishwasher.
TO STORE: Unplug appliance and store in its box or in a clean, dry
place. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance. Never
hang the unit by the cord. Do not put stress on the cord where it
enters the unit, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.

Care and Cleaning

POLARIZED PLUG

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the

other). As a safety feature, this plug fits in a polarized outlet only

one way. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, reverse the plug

and try again. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified

electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS

1. Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.

2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.

3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from

outlet.

4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or

abrasion marks. If any are found, this indicates that the

appliance should be serviced and the line cord replaced.

5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this

could place undue stress on the cord where it enters the

appliance and cause it to fray and break.

DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY

ENCHUFE POLARIZADO

Esta unidad tiene un enchufe polarizado en el que una clavija/contacto
