8450 Multi-Use Table
CUSTOMER INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE READ AND FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT.
If you have trouble understanding these instructions contact your dealer or Winco customer support, (800) 237-33 77
before attempting to use this product; otherwise injury may occur.
Winco assumes no responsibility for damage or injury caused by improper assembly,
installation, use, or maintenance of these products.
1. READ AND FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS.
2. NEVER stand on table or INJURY MAY OCCUR.
3. NEVER allow user to sleep unattended on table or INJURY MAY OCCUR.
4. NEVER leave an unconscious user unattended on table or INJURY MAY OCCUR.
6. NEVER leave an infant or child unattended on table or INJURY MAY OCCUR.
7. DO NOT allow children to play on or with the table or INJURY MAY OCCUR.
8. DO NOT put hands, feet or clothing into any openings on table. Attendant MUST confirm that users hands and feet are safe while positioning patient or INJURY MAY RESULT.
9. Periodically, recheck tightness of all nuts, bolts and screws.
10. USE ONLY WINCO AUTHORIZED REPLACEMENT PARTS.
11. NEVER EXCEED the recommended weight capacity of 400 lbs. (181.4 kg).
12. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS for future reference and training.

Tools needed:
 Phillips-head screwdriver  7/16” wrench (multiple size wrench included)  Scissors or box cutter  - If using powered tools always start hardware together by hand first -
PLEASE READ AND FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH ASSEMBLY
SEE “Parts Guide” (pg.3) for visual reference during assembly.
1. After che cking your product for any shipping damage, table needs to be positioned upside-down on cardboard or protective surface. Remove all packing material and hardware that was secured for shipping. Cut tape on corners of box so that cardboard will lay flat while you assemble table.
Leg Installation for 8400-8450:
2. Find the two Table Legs that you will be installing to the Table Frame Rails and the threaded holes in the wood table bottom.
3. One at a time, position the (2) Table Legs between Table Frame Rails (as shown in parts guide), and continue to step #4.
4. Install (2) ¼-20 x 1-½” screws through the upper brace on each of the (2) Table Legs and into the (2) threaded holes on bottom of Upholstered Top.
NOTE: Do not fully tighten at this time.
5. Secure the Table Legs to the Table Frame Rails with (4) ¼-20 x 2-½” screws and ¼-20 nuts.
NOTE: Do not fully tighten at this time.

Brace Installation for 8400-8450:
1. Place (4) ¼-20 x 1-½” carriage bolts in (4) holes through the lower brace of the Table Legs.
2. Align the Cross-brace (smooth, un-welded side, facing table bottom) with the (4) screws & holes on both Table Legs and fasten with (4) ¼-20 nuts. Tighten these (4) screws.
NOTE: For table without shelf; nylon inserts on brace should face toward bottom of table.
3. 8450 ONLY: TIGHTEN ALL nuts & bolts at this time.
4. Usi ng at least two people, turn table upright.
5. 8450 ONLY: Install Paper Holder and paper by inserting it through the Paper Rod Holders on the ends of
Table Frame Rails.
6. Adjust the (4 ) Glide Feet to level table.
Optional Shelf installation for 8400-8450:
1. Dou ble-sided tape has been installed on the Cross-brace.
2. Before re moving paper on tape, “test fit” the shelf. Shelf should be centered on Welded Brace Assembly.
3. Once you are certain of where you will position the shelf, peel off the paper to expose adhesive.
4. Carefully posi t ion shelf in place on adhesive.
Use damp sponge to moisten tape to allow shelf to be adjusted during install.
After peeling paper from adhesive tape:
Once tape is dry shelf will stay in place.
Do not over tighten nuts and bolts. Periodically recheck all
ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS for 840 PEDIATRIC TABLE ONLY:
Rear Pediatric Retainer Installation:
1. With table laying on one long side (be sure to protect vinyl); remove the (4) four ¼-20 x 3” screws & (4) ¼ - 1” washers from the Table Frame Rail.
NOTE: The 3” screws are left loose intentionally, so you can identify them easier.
2. Place the screws & washers (you just removed) through the brackets on the Rear Pediatric Retainer, then through the Table Frame Rail, and finally back into the threaded holes in the table top.
The washers should be positioned between the bracket and the Table Frame Rail.
TIP: Start one screw and allow it to hold the retainer while you start the other screws.)
3. Once all (4 ) screws have been installed, tighten them.
Side Pediatric Retainers Installation:
1. Next, install (3) ¼-20 x 1-¾” bolts (hex-head) through the (3) brackets on the Side Pediatric Retainers, then through (3) Nylon Spacers, and finally into the threaded holes in the table top.
TIP: Thread all bolts in by hand before fully tightening them.
2. TIGHTEN ALL nuts & bolts at this time.
Vinyl Strap Adjustment – 8450 Only - Should the vinyl strap on your Winco table need to be adjusted, unscrew the screw that currently holds either side of it in place. Pierce another hole in the strap to give desired tension and re­insert screw.
Wrinkles in Vinyl – Storage and shipping can cause wrinkles of the vinyl on your Winco table. This is normal. Please allow 1-2 weeks at room temperature (approx. 70+ degrees) to allow for vinyl to expand back to original appearance.
