Take appropriate protective measures to prevent parts from being ejected in
the case of faults. Ensure that these protective devices cannot be removed
without using tools.
Please be aware of the fact that within a system under pressure the

maximum pressure for the complete system is determined by the component with the lowest admissible operating pressure, even when there are
single components that can be operated with higher pressures. When
a wide range of pressures is expected within a measuring system, all
connected components must be able to withstand the highest possible
pressure peaks.
Open pressure connections only after the system is without pressure!
2. Starting, operation
Installation
Remove the transmitter out of its package and make sure via the label that you
have the instrument with the right specifications.
Make sure that the mounting position is manufactured absolutely free from burrs and
that the surface is clean.
Remove the protective cap (if it is included in delivery) from the process connection.
Make sure that the sealing cone is undamaged.
Screw in the transmitter by hand then fasten it with an appropriate torque wrench up
to the specified torque (see specifications of your high-pressure equipment supplier).
For transmitters with left-handed thread make sure that the appropriate pressure ring
and screw are used.
Now carry out the electrical connection (see respective drawings of electrical connec-
tions).

the documentation of your high-pressure equipment supplier.

When the transmitter is properly mounted and operated within the given specifications no
further action must be taken.

The service life of the instrument is restricted by a maximum number of load
!
cycles.
The maximum number of load cycles depends on the course the pressure
takes (height of pressure changes, pressure rise time, pressure drop time)
in the respective application. Therefore, please ask the manufacturer for the
max. number of load cycles of your individual application.
The upper deviation of the max. number of load cycles may result in
leakages due to hairline cracks.
Make sure that appropriate safety precautions are taken in order to avoid
exposure of human life and material assets to hazards.

Maximaldruck den höchstzulässigen Betriebsdruck für das Gesamtsystem
festlegt, auch wenn einzelne Komponenten durchaus höheren Belastungen
ausgesetzt werden dürfen. Ist mit schwankenden oder unterschiedlichen Drücken im System zu rechnen, sollten Komponenten zum Einsatz
kommen, die den höchsten zu erwartenden Druckspitzen stand halten
können.
Öffnen Sie Anschlüsse nur im drucklosen Zustand!
2. Inbetriebnahme, Betrieb
Installation
Entnehmen Sie den Druckmessumformer der Verpackung und vergewissern Sie sich
anhand des Typenschildes, dass der von Ihnen benötigte Typ vorliegt. Stellen Sie
sicher, dass die Montagestelle absolut gratfrei gearbeitet und sauber ist.
Entfernen Sie die Schutzkappe, falls vorhanden, vom Druckanschluss.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Dichtkonus unbeschädigt ist.
Schrauben Sie den Druckmessumformer mit der Hand ein. Ziehen Sie ihn anschlie-
ßend mit einem geeigneten Drehmomentschlüssel bis zum vorgeschriebenen Anzugsdrehmoment an (siehe Angabe des HD-Rohrlieferanten).
Stellen Sie bei Geräten mit Linksgewinde sicher, dass passender Druckring.
Stellen Sie nun die elektrische Verbindung her (bitte zutreffendes Anschlussschema in
entsprechender Geräte-Betriebsanleitung beachten).
