The button must be pressed for about 2 sec. to switch the hob on.

The indication “0” appears in area A on the 4 displays. If within about 25 sec. none of the cooking zones is activated, the hob switches itself off automatically on safety grounds.

Choose the button for the desired cooking area and press it.

The display of the chosen cooking area becomes brighter.

Press the +/- buttons in area B within 5 sec. to adjust the required cooking setting. The first two cooking steps correspond to the Gentle heat function and the Keep hot functions (if provided). The other selectable cooking settings go from 1 - 10. The highest selectable cooking setting equates to the TURBO setting (if provided). The special functions GENTLE HEAT, KEEP HOT and TURBO HEAT are indicated in the display by a red arrow. All selections are stopped and cancelled by simultaneously pressing the + and - buttons.

IMPORTANT: For safety reasons, the hob is equipped with an automatic cut-off function, which, depending on the set power output, switches off the cooking zone at maximum power at the earliest after one hour or after 6 hours at minimum power, if no setting change takes place.

The CHILD SAFETY function is switched on with this button and indicated by an additional red control LED. With the exception of the hob’s On and Off buttons, all other buttons are locked. This function remains on even after the hob has been switched off and on again and can be cancelled by pressing the button again for 2 seconds.

RESIDUAL HEAT INDICATOR The residual heat indicator “H” goes on or flashes alternating with “0” with the switched off cooking zone while the temperature is still above the safety limit.
