BEFORE USING THE COOKING HOB

To get the most out of your new appliance,
read these instructions carefully and keep
them for future consultation.
SAFEGUARDING THE ENVIRONMENT
1. Packaging
The packaging material is entirely recyclable, and is
marked with the recycling symbol
identifies it as a type of material that must be sent
to local waste-disposal centres..
2. Product
The cooking hob is made of recyclable material.
When scrapping it, follow local environmental
protection waste disposal regulations.
Before disposing of the appliance, cut off the power
cord in order to render it inoperative.

Keep the packaging materials (plastic bags,
polystyrene parts, etc.) out of reach of children, as
they are potentially dangerous.

Check that the cooking hob has not been damaged
during transport.

Installation and electrical connection of the appliance
must be entrusted to a qualified technician in
accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and
in compliance with local safety regulations..
x
Before any cleaning or maintenance operation,
disconnect the cooking hob from the mains power
supply.
x
Keep children away from the cooking hob whe n it is
in use.
x
After use, make sure that the knobs are in position
“0” (off).
x
Note: the cover (where supplied) can break if
overheated. Before closing it, turn off the electric hot
plates and let them cool down.

Glass lid (optional)
- Do not close the glass lid when the burners are
still hot and when the oven, installed bel ow the
hob, is on or still hot.
- Do not lay hot pans or heavy objects on the hob
lid.
- Remove any spillages from the surface of the lid
before opening.

only for cooking. Any other use (such as heating a
room) is improper and dangerous.
