• To make the most of your new appliance,
please read the user instructions carefully and
keep them to hand for future consultation.
INSTALLATION - TECHNICAL
INFORMATION FOR THE INSTALLER
Make sure that the appliance is installed and connected to the
•
electricity supply by a qualified technician in accordance with the
manufacturer’s instructions and in compliance with local regulations.
Before installation, please read these few hints:
•
The cooktop must be installed into a worktop 30 to 40 mm thick and
•
600 mm deep.
The distance between the lower face of the cooktop and any
•
cupboard or separating panel must be of at least 30 mm.
If the cooktop is to be installed next to a column unit, leave a distance
•
of at least 50 mm.
If a hood or a cupboard is installed above the cooktop, leave a
•
minimum distance of 650 mm.
The coatings of the walls of the unit or appliances near the cooktop
•
must be heat resistant.
Do not install the cooktop near flammable materials (i.e.:curtains).
•
Installation
Cut an opening in the worktop of the dimensions shown in the
•
Product Description Sheet supplied separately.
Stretch gasket

overlay the junction edges.
Turn the cooktop upside down and put tabs
•
provided, tightening screws
Please make sure that the tabs are correctly positioned as illustrated.

Position the cooktop into the housing.
