BEFORE USING THE COOKING HOB
• To make the most of your new appliance, please read the user instructions carefully and keep them to hand for future consultation.
INSTALLATION - TECHNICAL INFORMATION FOR THE INSTALLER
Make sure that the appliance is installed and connected to the
electricity supply by a qualified technician in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and in compliance with local regulations. Before installation, please read these few hints:
The cooktop must be installed into a worktop 30 to 40 mm thick and
600 mm deep. The distance between the lower face of the cooktop and any
cupboard or separating panel must be of at least 30 mm. If the cooktop is to be installed next to a column unit, leave a distance
of at least 50 mm. If a hood or a cupboard is installed above the cooktop, leave a
minimum distance of 650 mm. The coatings of the walls of the unit or appliances near the cooktop
must be heat resistant. Do not install the cooktop near flammable materials (i.e.:curtains).
Installation
Cut an opening in the worktop of the dimensions shown in the
Product Description Sheet supplied separately. Stretch gasket
overlay the junction edges. Turn the cooktop upside down and put tabs
provided, tightening screws Please make sure that the tabs are correctly positioned as illustrated.
Position the cooktop into the housing.
